I went in for a regular manicure as I am still healing my nails from gel manicure abuse and damage from other nail places. I liked the vibe of the place and the value of services that I ended up getting a French pedicure and manicure and opted for a 10-minute back massage on the chair to complete my walk-in experience. Jenn (owner, manager) did a good job with the manicure and massage and was always making sure that my nails dried well, without any nicks or smudges. Her husband did my regular pedicure that included a lavender soak, lavender scrub, and lavender massage lotion. He was no charmer (lol). The Warwick area seems to have a nail salon at every corner but I urge you to give K-Pop a try. I've had awful experiences elsewhere where either the service is overpriced and not really worth the extra dollars, or this one place where the nail polish--gel or regular--always chips and peels within a day. Not really sure what's going on there but K-Pop is a decent spot in this area.

My sister came with me and also got a gel mani with another service provider and hers is actually now worse than mine. They use the dremel tool directly on your nail and don't sterilize it. As for the dip manicure, your nails are dipped directly into the jar instead of pouring on for sanitation and nothing is done to your your nails beyond filing (like soaking, pushing cuticles back, etc) and again they use the dremel tool directly on nails and skin. I chose gel on my toes because I noticed that there's nowhere to dry your pedi... $10 extra. $80 total for gel pedi and dip mani... then with tip you're almost at $100... you could get the same quality mani/pedi for same price (and sometimes less) with more sanitary practices and better quality equipment and atmosphere elsewhere.

At the tail end of my SNS Dip nails, the owner comes over to "finish". My nails are clearly NOT done as I requested. She proceeds to fix them with a mixture of red and clear polish. This should have been done correctly the first time with the Dip powder mixture. I explain my dissatisfaction and disappointment and tell her I booked with her to avoid this from happening. However, she herself did not do my nails - someone else did, leading to a poor result. She then tried to blame me for the miscommunication. It was obvious she made the other client that she worked in & serviced during my scheduled appointment, her priority. She fit her in - taking my appointment. I will never go back. The mani was just as a nice experience. He took his time and at the end you always get a two minute shoulder message. There are plenty of chairs and techs available. The polish section is not to bad. On your birthday they give you a discount gift certificate for your next visit.
