I have to say that I was very happy coming into this establishment because it looked clean and front desk lady sounded nice. As soon as I sat down to get my pedicure done, I was rushed into picking what service I wanted. I chose the $45 pedicure and it was the worst pedicure I have ever gotten. It was basically just a leg and feet massage the whole time, my in-growns weren't cut, nails werent cleaned, and she only put one coat of polish in my nails (my own nail polish). I had to complaint to the lady for her to do a better job with my nails and she still didn't do it. Very frustrating. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I am really impressed by Top Nails! I found it randomly on Yelp and saw that it had an average of 5 stars. That's pretty rare for nail salons. It's also really convenient to get to from my house, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Called in the morning to make a noon appointment for my sister and me. We showed up about 20 minutes early and it was a packed house. We managed to get seated a little after noon, but then had to wait another 20 minutes or so while soaking our feet before the nail technicians were ready for us. They both apologized for the wait, and honestly, I was fine with it since we were soaking our feet and enjoying the massage chairs. We both did the basic pedicure, which is $30. It's so much more than your typical basic pedicure though. In addition to the basics, you get a light reflexology massage with your choice of oils. They also use hot stones on your legs at the end of the massage, and finally they apply hot paraffin wax to your heels by wrapping it to your feet in plastic bags. That is so much more than basic! The only negative is that I don't think the scrub your feet hard enough. They are a bit too gentle with the foot filing portion of the pedi and if you have really dry feet that just won't be enough to slough off all the dead skin. The Spa at the Biltmore does a much better job with leaving your feet suuuuuper soft and silky at the end of the treatment, but I really did enjoy all the extras that came with this cheaper pedi option. They have a great selection of colors, the staff is very pleasant and nice, and best of all, the really have the cleanest facilities around. They line each soaking tub with plastic before filling with water, and they also use disposable tools such as files, buffers, etc. All the other tools are sterilized. I felt much safer about getting my nails done here. You hear so many horror stories about people getting infections at nails salons. That seems really unlikely here. I definitely plan on returning to Top Nails for many future pedicures. Maybe even a mane/pedi, which is also pretty reasonably priced at $40. Not too shabby for one of the cleanest and most thoroughly relaxing pedicures I've ever had.

Horrible! Worst pedicure ever and at 39.00 for a regular pedicure. Really not the top nails I had gone to before. Super sloppy, super speedy getting it done. Cold barely warm water. When I sopke to woman, she ignored me. Both my friend and I vowed never to return.

Nails still great after two weeks!

I had an amazing experience at this nail salon. I had the dream spa gel pedicure and a gel manicure. I usually detest nail salons as I've always had negative experiences but the nail tech that serviced me gave an excellent massage with hot stones and did a great job with the nails themselves. It's been two weeks and my nail polish is still intact. Their prices are also reasonable but make sure you walk with cash for a tip. I definitely recommend!

    Was bright pink day before

Went in for a gel manicure. Picked out a bright pink for my trip to Florida the next day. A man did my nails and I didn't think he let them dry long enough before he turned off the lights and put lotion on them. An hour later I noticed they were dull. Top coat did not dry. I went back and they put a top coat on. Florida for 6 days and nails turned a dull orange the very next day. As soon as I got back I went and explained what happened. The girl had me pick out color and rushed through the gel manicure. I got up to leave and they said $35. I said, you're charging again after that? She said you picked out a different color. Of course I did, the bright pink was bad as it turned a light weird orange. She insisted I pay, which I did. I said you just lost a customer! I'll never go back again. Poor customer service.

Tried them a few times. Ok for basic gel mani pedi but doesn't last as long as other salons, chipped toes on like day 6.

When I used to work in town, I shopped around the local salons, and just kept coming back to Vida…read moreas the quality of work, beauty of the atmosphere, and cleanliness blew everyone else out of the water. I still drive pretty far to go there even though I work further away, because it's so hard to find a new salon that's consistent and that you can trust. I'm shocked to see so many negative reviews as I have always felt very pampered here and impressed by the attention to detail that all techs, regardless of who you get, have. I've very rarely had a negative experience here and have come over a dozen times over a few different years! I am a little jealous that other customers seem to be greeted as regulars and get an extra special warm treatment and are remembered by their techs, as even though when I came regularly for months in a row, I was never remembered this way - but oh well, I'll still come back for the pampering. Their dip gel manicures last 4+ weeks on me and are indestructible! Their regular gel manicures last a little less on me, more like 3-4 weeks which is still much more than other salons, but less than dip. Sometimes they've charged me extra for certain services, which frustratingly adds up quickly (chrome finish was an extra ~$25+ I believe, which seems high, sometimes they charge you to remove your polish, but not always, which is a bummer and is confusing since it's not always consistent - I think this mostly happens when I switch from powder dip gel to regular gel?, French is an upcharge, adding a tip if you broke a nail or two but want them to match the rest of your other nails (each tip was $3 or $5 each if I remember correctly), etc. - you can easily rack up a higher bill depending on what you ask for, but I've always had them ask up front). The massages they offer during your manicure service are simply DIVINE, and I'm always really sad if they aren't offered on the day I go - this has happened a couple times and I wish I knew what days this wasn't offered so I could avoid them, they truly are deep tissue. I don't know how the manicure techs keep doing work on your hands when they are getting into your muscles so aggressively - sometimes I have to brace myself against the desk, but it's needed and feels amazing - so that part of the service always cracks me up and impresses me that they can keep clipping my cuticles while I'm moving all over! The work is always very shiny and lasts longer than manicures at other salons I've tried, and very rarely do I have a flaw with my manicure when I leave. Shaping is done well and only once or twice did I have some nails filed that looked a little crooked, over 15+ manicures here. My only complaint is that if you come in the last 1.5 hours of the day they are open, which I often have to do because of my work schedule, the staff goes into crazy cleaning mode (which is good for the cleanliness factor!), but with so many staff members rushing around, it's less relaxing and the cleaning chemicals they use have a very strong smell that gives me a slight headache. The techs seem a little more rushed towards the end of the day too, but I come here to relax and feel pampered, so this doesn't help me reach that goal. I wish they'd be conscious of the atmosphere and experience for all guests, regardless of the time of day they are there. The good part of this is that they will typically squeeze you in, even towards the end of the day, instead of turning you away, but your experience may not be up to their usual relaxing standards, head's up. They do also occasionally get a little upsell-happy and try to push additional services/products like builder gel, saying 'it's very popular and people love it,' even after I repeatedly say no or that it's hurt me in the past and I'm not interested, so that can get frustrating. Most techs will back off after the first no, though, but I've had a couple that continue to bring it up - ugh! I know what I want, knock it off. Their reward points system also changed a year or two ago, and it's not spelled out easily how often you can redeem rewards. It seems I've come a couple times and been told I can 'redeem rewards on my next visit,' yet every time I'm still told I need more points to get money off....very odd. I have a lot of love for this place and it's my go to, but just wish they'd tweak a couple small things. Yoyo was incredibly friendly on my last visit and I hope to have her again - she absolutely SLAYED the perfect French tips, not too thick and not too thin - although I usually never have the same tech twice. Worth a try if you're in the area (or in my case, even if you're not!) I'm dying for someone to get me a gift card to here so I can finally book a longer massage, too. Some examples of my past manicures are attached! Thanks for the good times, Vida!

Easily made an appointment with them day of for a lunchtime slot. They were able to accommodate two chairs side by side within a few minutes so I could socialize during my time there. Wide selection of colors and brands. Equally robust selection of pedicure treatments. We selected the Honey Spa Pedicure to take advantage of the vitamin content and anti-inflammatory benefits of the sweet concoction. This option also includes a 10-minute foot massage with hot stones and a steamer, callus treatment, paraffin treatment, and 6 minute chair massage. It was $45 (if you're paying cash) and it was worth every penny. So relaxing. I didn't realize how much I needed that back, neck, and shoulder massage until it was over. Everyone was very nice, keeping us informed of what was going on during our brief wait at the start. Definitely my go-to location going forward. I love that they use the plastic liners in each tub here (as I've found not every place does). I've always felt very comfortable here whether solo or with a friend.
