They gave a free 2-5 minutes back massage and hand massage......They ask if I wanted more time for the massage it would be an extra $15.00......I said no....... One of the workers ask if I would like a heated pillow for my back... I did it and my back felt so relaxed......... I signed up for the VIP membership $2.00 one time fee for it and saves you 3% card and 10% cash on future services.....Tips are CASH only!!! They have atm if you want to take out cash..... I have to say that I was very happy coming into this establishment because it looked clean and front desk lady sounded nice. As soon as I sat down to get my pedicure done, I was rushed into picking what service I wanted. I chose the $45 pedicure and it was the worst pedicure I have ever gotten. It was basically just a leg and feet massage the whole time, my in-growns weren't cut, nails werent cleaned, and she only put one coat of polish in my nails (my own nail polish). I had to complaint to the lady for her to do a better job with my nails and she still didn't do it. Very frustrating. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

This place destroyed my nail beds and my nails have not been the same since. I went in for a replacement gel color and the man who took care of me scraped my nails so hard and when I asked for him to stop, he told me to calm down and continued. I should have walked out of there sooner but he didn't know English so I thought, I could just nudge him towards easing off... by the time he proceeded to paint, the polish job was so sloppy, someone finally came over to see his work and they sat down to clean up the polish he laid only to redo it all over again. I hate to be that person but when a simple service takes almost two hours and on top of that they cause damage and dismiss your requests without even a semblance of an apology or a discounted service, I just had to give them a review. Tried them a few times. Ok for basic gel mani pedi but doesn't last as long as other salons, chipped toes on like day 6.

Asked if they did acrylic fills and they said yes. When they started on my nails they replaced one nail with a gel goop. She proceeded to put this on all my other nails. When asked about the fill she said they didn't do that. Horrible job nails are so thick they are disgusting. They did a good job on the pedicure. I am really impressed by Top Nails! I found it randomly on Yelp and saw that it had an average of 5 stars. That's pretty rare for nail salons. It's also really convenient to get to from my house, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Called in the morning to make a noon appointment for my sister and me. We showed up about 20 minutes early and it was a packed house. We managed to get seated a little after noon, but then had to wait another 20 minutes or so while soaking our feet before the nail technicians were ready for us. They both apologized for the wait, and honestly, I was fine with it since we were soaking our feet and enjoying the massage chairs. We both did the basic pedicure, which is $30. It's so much more than your typical basic pedicure though. In addition to the basics, you get a light reflexology massage with your choice of oils. They also use hot stones on your legs at the end of the massage, and finally they apply hot paraffin wax to your heels by wrapping it to your feet in plastic bags. That is so much more than basic! The only negative is that I don't think the scrub your feet hard enough. They are a bit too gentle with the foot filing portion of the pedi and if you have really dry feet that just won't be enough to slough off all the dead skin. The Spa at the Biltmore does a much better job with leaving your feet suuuuuper soft and silky at the end of the treatment, but I really did enjoy all the extras that came with this cheaper pedi option. They have a great selection of colors, the staff is very pleasant and nice, and best of all, the really have the cleanest facilities around. They line each soaking tub with plastic before filling with water, and they also use disposable tools such as files, buffers, etc. All the other tools are sterilized. I felt much safer about getting my nails done here. You hear so many horror stories about people getting infections at nails salons. That seems really unlikely here. I definitely plan on returning to Top Nails for many future pedicures. Maybe even a mane/pedi, which is also pretty reasonably priced at $40. Not too shabby for one of the cleanest and most thoroughly relaxing pedicures I've ever had. read more

Went in for a gel manicure. Picked out a bright pink for my trip to Florida the next day. A man did my nails and I didn't think he let them dry long enough before he turned off the lights and put lotion on them. An hour later I noticed they were dull. Top coat did not dry. I went back and they put a top coat on. Florida for 6 days and nails turned a dull orange the very next day. As soon as I got back I went and explained what happened. The girl had me pick out color and rushed through the gel manicure. I got up to leave and they said $35. I said, you're charging again after that? She said you picked out a different color. Of course I did, the bright pink was bad as it turned a light weird orange. She insisted I pay, which I did. I said you just lost a customer! I'll never go back again. If I could rate no stars I would. I hope this saves you from being cut, burned, and having a terrible time. %100 beware of the carelessness. 1.It began by myself asking if they could accomidate 4 people at once and I was assured yes. I was already soaking my feet when the others showed up to have us be told that only two at a time can be done(salon was empty). 2. They barely spoke a word to us the entire time, not even to communicate what exactly we wanted. 3. Once i put my feet in the basin i found out the water was scolding hot! Burning my feet twice! when they told me to put them in. (noapology) 4. The pedicure was done messy and toenails were not fully painted to base.(fixed but they clearly frustrated) 5. Fileing my finger nails she failed to aknowledge (or admitt) my thumbs and pinkies were completly different shapes and pointed in funny directions. Then after she threw her file down and told me DO THEM MY SELF. Causing the ONE other person to come over. 6.Other guy comes over and starts filing and i ask if i can see if its being done right then he tells me. If i dont like it I can leave causing me to have a panic attack. I was being very nice and understansing. The basics of nails were not being met or niether were far fetched. 7. All the while this was going on my little sisters just had thw toes done and were supoose to have their nails done aswell. Another employee showed up only to accept two new clients when we were not all finished all of what we came for. We were there for 3HOURS of them jumping all over ans not finishing even one set before getting up. 8. My mother asked for coffin shaped nails only to have big blocky square nails done. 9. All the while of this tetrible and traumatizing visit we have been Cut a total of 5 times. 2 times on me, 3 times on my mother and my feet being burned in scolding water. I HOPE TO GOD eveything was clean. After paying ans leaving we did not recieve any sort of appologie or finishing of my nails. I've been going here for years I have to say I have had one of the most ugliest experiences I have ever had. I walked in at 620p to have a pedi and gel manicure. I was told to pick a gel color, rushed to a chair they wrapped my fingers with clip where I couldn't even look at the colors. Then they picked up the basket with different color that I was looking at and was made me go to pedicure chair. I asked why is the rush I haven't even chosen a color! I was told I came in a bad time! So I tried this place again after two years because someone gave me a gift card- services and pampering was fabulous however, my nails once again chipped in 2 days. $70 spent, 2 days! To top it off, I went to the beauty salon to buy the color, OPI Lucky Lucky Lavender which was actually white on my nails (didn't look at the name until my nails were done as I always do). I thought it was white! NOPE, should've been a lavender color. I attached a photo of the "real" color and my nails. I've been coming to Top Nails and Spa for about 2 months now. The salon is great, very clean and welcoming. Many of the workers speak relatively good English, so you're able to understand them. The dreams spa pedicure is by far the best I've ever had. They do take some time on your nails but they ensure they're doing a good job. One complaint, they don't give you enough time to choose a color. You tend to be followed around the nail polish selection which makes you feel rushed. Other than that it's a great salon! I had a great experience at Top Nails and Spa! I went in for a basic pedicure and came out fully relaxed with a full pedi and mani. Mike did a great job on my toes and took his time. He was even patient with me when I changed my mind on the color (thanks mike!). A nice 10 minute massage later, and then those nice hot stones, and I was so relaxed!! He suggested a gel manicure on my regular nails which I have never had before. My nails have taken a beating this winter and my normally healthy nails have been peeling and brittle. I used to absolutely love this place. It was my go to for gel manicures and pedicures. The past few times I've gone, I've been very unimpressed with the gel manicures. They chip within days and the polish peels off in entire sheets right off my nails. No longer the good quality I used to receive. I think it may have to do with how busy it can be... but I'd rather wait a while and get a good manicure than be rushed and have a bad quality job. My future mother- in - law and I were searching for a nail salon to go to since we live in Ma. And they are not open yet due to COVID-19. We got here and right away we were greeted with hellos and welcomes from all of the staff! We made an appointment and we came in to see that they have all proper protection for our safety. Everyone had masks on, they have screens up to separate the manicurist and client. I had Johnny do my nails. He was so great! He did my manicure in a timely manner yet took his time with the paint and making sure to file my nails nicely. He also did my pedicure which he did great with, asking what type of oil I would prefer and checking with me along the way to make sure I was comfortable. We don't live nearby but I am so tempted to make my way back up here just for the experience! The only down-fall is the language barrier. You have to be patient with some of the workers as they don't speak English. But, I am a teacher who works with children who are english language learners so it was just fine with me :) as long as you are patient, it will be perfect! read more

I typically love this salon and think they do a great job. While I did feel safe in terms of Covid transmission - they had plastic barriers and required masks to be worn by staff and patrons - I was not pleased with the service. I had a very specific request for one of my nails because it has a fissure running down it. I insisted that I didn't want it filed and I wanted to avoid getting paint in the fissure. Both of my requests were agreed to and then ignored. I had to remove the polish from that nail when I got home which was really disheartening. While the rest of my mani-pedi came out great, I didn't appreciate being ignored. I was also displeased that the technician doing my nails did not bother to wipe away blood when she accidentally nicked my cuticle. read more

Went in because my dipping powder manicure was cracking and chipping in fewer than three weeks. Titi seemed apologetic and said to come in. I, incorrectly, assumed they would adjust the price of a new manicure. When I paid and asked for a price adjustment, the lady declined and told me a manicure should only last two weeks... mine have always lasted 3-4 weeks. I also wanted to match my toe polish, which I had done there as well. They could not find a match for that either. I will be looking for a new salon. read more

Horrible dip powder job. Went back to have it fixed and they made it even worse. They applied gel coat on top of the dip powered and guaranteed it would not peal. Well I have had to fix my own nails twice in one week. Nails didn't even last a week and i paid $46 to do it myself. I went here for a pedicure, a friend recommended it to me. They have a few different options for you to pick from, ranging from $30-95! This really is more than just your typical nail salon, definitely a spa atmosphere. Linda was wonderful! I picked the pedi a step above basic which included callus removal, reflexology, those wraps they put on to make your skin super soft, and a hot stone massage. $42 might seem pricey for a pedi, but it was THE BEST pedicure I have ever received. The staff is so professional, the salon is extremely relaxing and clean, and they really take their time to make sure you are 100% satisfied. There was minimal chatter amongst the employees; they were all focused on doing their job (something I have never seen in a nail salon before). I ended up adding on a manicure which was $12.. the basic manicure INCLUDES the hot wax wrap which leaves your hands feeling incredible, AND they give you 2 back massages!!! I will never go to another nail salon again. They even continuously organize their nail polish so all the colors are together.... I've never had a better nail salon experience in my life. read more

Gel manicure? Nope...this was a hell manicure. It only lasted two days. Went back to get them redone and the woman just sanded off the top layer and put four more layers of polish on top. They said kid age is 10 and under. I asked to speak with manager and she was rude. She said that has always been the price but when I said it's our first time and it wasn't in the printed menu she said that's the age. I said that was deceptive practice.
