When I used to work in town, I shopped around the local salons, and just kept coming back to Vida as the quality of work, beauty of the atmosphere, and cleanliness blew everyone else out of the water. I still drive pretty far to go there even though I work further away, because it's so hard to find a new salon that's consistent and that you can trust. I'm shocked to see so many negative reviews as I have always felt very pampered here and impressed by the attention to detail that all techs, regardless of who you get, have. I've very rarely had a negative experience here and have come over a dozen times over a few different years! I am a little jealous that other customers seem to be greeted as regulars and get an extra special warm treatment and are remembered by their techs, as even though when I came regularly for months in a row, I was never remembered this way - but oh well, I'll still come back for the pampering. Their dip gel manicures last 4+ weeks on me and are indestructible! Their regular gel manicures last a little less on me, more like 3-4 weeks which is still much more than other salons, but less than dip. Sometimes they've charged me extra for certain services, which frustratingly adds up quickly (chrome finish was an extra ~$25+ I believe, which seems high, sometimes they charge you to remove your polish, but not always, which is a bummer and is confusing since it's not always consistent - I think this mostly happens when I switch from powder dip gel to regular gel?, French is an upcharge, adding a tip if you broke a nail or two but want them to match the rest of your other nails (each tip was $3 or $5 each if I remember correctly), etc. - you can easily rack up a higher bill depending on what you ask for, but I've always had them ask up front). The massages they offer during your manicure service are simply DIVINE, and I'm always really sad if they aren't offered on the day I go - this has happened a couple times and I wish I knew what days this wasn't offered so I could avoid them, they truly are deep tissue. I don't know how the manicure techs keep doing work on your hands when they are getting into your muscles so aggressively - sometimes I have to brace myself against the desk, but it's needed and feels amazing - so that part of the service always cracks me up and impresses me that they can keep clipping my cuticles while I'm moving all over! The work is always very shiny and lasts longer than manicures at other salons I've tried, and very rarely do I have a flaw with my manicure when I leave. Shaping is done well and only once or twice did I have some nails filed that looked a little crooked, over 15+ manicures here. My only complaint is that if you come in the last 1.5 hours of the day they are open, which I often have to do because of my work schedule, the staff goes into crazy cleaning mode (which is good for the cleanliness factor!), but with so many staff members rushing around, it's less relaxing and the cleaning chemicals they use have a very strong smell that gives me a slight headache. The techs seem a little more rushed towards the end of the day too, but I come here to relax and feel pampered, so this doesn't help me reach that goal. I wish they'd be conscious of the atmosphere and experience for all guests, regardless of the time of day they are there. The good part of this is that they will typically squeeze you in, even towards the end of the day, instead of turning you away, but your experience may not be up to their usual relaxing standards, head's up. They do also occasionally get a little upsell-happy and try to push additional services/products like builder gel, saying 'it's very popular and people love it,' even after I repeatedly say no or that it's hurt me in the past and I'm not interested, so that can get frustrating. Most techs will back off after the first no, though, but I've had a couple that continue to bring it up - ugh! I know what I want, knock it off. Their reward points system also changed a year or two ago, and it's not spelled out easily how often you can redeem rewards. It seems I've come a couple times and been told I can 'redeem rewards on my next visit,' yet every time I'm still told I need more points to get money off....very odd. I have a lot of love for this place and it's my go to, but just wish they'd tweak a couple small things. Yoyo was incredibly friendly on my last visit and I hope to have her again - she absolutely SLAYED the perfect French tips, not too thick and not too thin - although I usually never have the same tech twice. Worth a try if you're in the area (or in my case, even if you're not!) I'm dying for someone to get me a gift card to here so I can finally book a longer massage, too. My experience at the salon on Saturday, July 11, 2026, left me deeply disappointed and honestly heartbroken. I decided to return because I was hoping for a great pedicure after going elsewhere for the past few months. Instead of leaving relaxed, I left disturbed by the way I watched another customer be treated. A gentleman came in for a pedicure and appeared to have difficulty getting into the chair and positioning his feet in the foot bath. Rather than being met with patience, kindness, or assistance, he was met with visible frustration. Staff members huffed, scolded him, and one employee repeatedly threw her hands up in exasperation before walking away from him. To make matters worse, other employees could be heard laughing while this was happening. No one should be made to feel like a burden for needing a little extra time or assistance. Walking into a salon can already make someone feel vulnerable, and witnessing a customer be treated with such little compassion was heartbreaking. Whether or not the staff intended it, the interaction came across as humiliating and lacking even the most basic human decency. The most concerning behavior came from an older woman I had never seen working there before, as well as the gentleman performing my pedicure. The older woman was especially dismissive and openly displayed her frustration through her words and body language, while others around her laughed instead of offering support or professionalism. I left the salon feeling disgusted, embarrassed, and certain that I will not be returning. A business should be judged not only by the quality of its services, but by the way it treats people--especially those who may need a little extra patience. My daughter just went in here and got a full set of nails for $75 and they charged her an extra $30 for Cateye which most salons charge 5-10$ for. He also told her about the extra fee after he applied it. Totally taking advantage of a young girl. When I called there to question the extra fee, he told me "if you can't afford to get your nails done you shouldn't get them done then" Totally unprofessional money hungry business. Two days ago, I went to Vida salon to ask for information about their massage services. When I arrived at the front desk nobody was there. An employee sitting about 60 ft away working with a costumer, yelled at me asking me "what do you want"? Since she was yelling at me I went over and said hello to her and asked her if they had massage services? She immediately responded with utterances and irritation in broken English, something I could not understand. The consumer that was being serviced, gently translated to me what she was saying, chair or room? She seemed very upset of my presence. I said to her, sound like you are very busy and stressed out. I will come back another day. This employee got up hurriedly and upset and went to the front desk and gave me a brochure and ushered me out. I was like what??? I've come here many times and they're good at what they do. Today I went in to get a dip manicure and I had acrylics on but I only had 4 nails left. The girl started taking them off and looked at them and went to go talk to someone else. She came back and told me it was going to be $10 to take them off. I asked her how much they charge to take off a full set of acrylic nails because $10 seemed a lot for 4 nails, she said $10. So I asked her why it was the same price to take off 4 nails. She seemed irritated and said she didn't know and to ask her manager. It honestly wasn't a big deal because I thought she would soak them off and my nails underneath would be better, but she proceeded to take them off with a plastic nail. She did a good job but I think $10 extra to take off 4 nails with a plastic nail is kind of crazy. read more

Honestly just really wouldn't recommend. Over priced for work that really isn't of quality. My nail beds burn every time under the UV light and my nails are always left brittle and weak. They don't even apply cuticle oil after the service is done and mind you, this is a service that is rather expensive. The last time I went there, I simply asked for them to take my nails off and she literally was pushing me to get a whole new manicure so hard. When I literally just wanted them to be taken off! If I wanted to get a new manicure I would have asked for it! Stop trying to sell services that aren't even worth my time! And it was the worst gel manicure I've gotten probably ever! It's been several times I have gotten my nails done there and gotten home and not happy. As I sat down with the nail tech, he just kept shaking his head saying my french that had to much white which I had gotten done there about three weeks ago go figure. I feel liked it was rushed and told him I wanted to keep the length and ended up walking out with short nails. Some nails are round some are square now. The tech also had cut me on the sides of my nails on about five fingers. The white has black grit in it because after drilling did not even brush off my hands just starting putting on the foundation with dust on them. My nails are all bumpy and wavy and when I woke up this morning, my fingers are in so much pain. When checking out, I tried to show him the rough grit on the nail and he just brushed it off and wouldn't look at it. The place is very clean but techs rush and you're lucky if you get one tech for the visit. I don't think I will be going back I will find another local salon. Disappointed I wasted money on that. They are overpriced and my daughter tried to tell them the color was not what she expected when they started her nails, and they continued on anyway and laughed it off. $140 for prom nails she hated. The way this salon is run is unfortunate, because they've always done a great job with my nails. Some of the staff members are nice and welcoming, but a lot of them are terribly rude and openly make fun of/speak poorly about customers in Vietnamese (spoken by particular nail techs I've seen there). I'm not sure if they think the language barrier is prevalent enough that no one will pick up on it, or what it is. The last time I went there, which solidified my choice to never go back, the male tech that was doing my nails was speaking to a female tech next to him, who had also previously done my nails. When I sat down, it was almost immediately that they started talking about me in Vietnamese, saying that my UV gel nails are "a mess" and that they wished "I hadn't come in" despite them being the ones that had done them last. I've explained to them a few times that I work with animals as a veterinarian, I wear latex gloves most of the day, and I wash my hands constantly. My nails are perfectly fine, they're clean, and sometimes they chip or break after 3+ weeks. Is that the ideal situation for UV gel nails? Not necessarily, but I take very good care of them. Regardless of the work they do, a lot of the staff is very condescending and rude. Assuming that someone won't understand when you're talking negatively about them, whether it be in a different language or not, is so inappropriate. Definitely won't be back. read more

I have a consistently great powder manicure experience every time I come here with my daughter. We've become savvy enough after coming for over three years to make appointments in advance which has eliminutes long waits for service. They also have a dedicated scheduling assistant (weekends only?) which seems to be improving the overall flow. We enjoy it here and with covid not as severe, we are looking forward to getting back into our regular schedule of services with our friends at Vida. read more

I got a simple French manicure and it's looks awful. they cut open my finger with the drill and they're was blood everywhere and then I got small cuts that feel like paper cuts on almost every finger under my nail from the nail file they used. David did my pedicure with reflexology and for $75 absolutely spectacular. Paul did my 10 min chair massage for $15 and he's wonderful. Sky did my gel fill for $50 and he did an amazing job. They came out thin & shaped like a coffin like I asked. Im very happy with the services I got. The price was $130 that's with a $10 coupon plus $30 for tip. $160 total. I'd highly recommend Vida. Today is my first visit and I brought my 9 year old daughter and her friend for a mini "girls day" We were stopped at door for temps, screening and hand sanitizer, then asked to immediately wash our hands. I appreciate this as a healthcare worker who's anxious about the lift on mask restrictions. We had an 11:30 appointment, were on time (early). We were offered water's while we waited which is good considering we waited 40 minutes before one of the 2 kids got started. Space was large, spaced out, very clean and modern. Great selection of colors. I ended up NOT getting my nails done after waiting in a chair for 50 minutes. When I declined service because I had placed to be, the gentleman said "no its ok". I don't think he realized it's not ok....I had other things to do. No apologies The kids nails were painted, somethingI could have easily done at home... I definitely will NOT go back. read more

I used to really love this nail salon and it was my go to. I've continued to give them a chance, but I've continued to be disappointed. I know it is a pandemic and things are difficult, which is why I kept trying. I got a gel manicure one week ago today and it is already all peeling off. I also got a pedicure that is peeling off. I had an appointment at 10am and was immediately sat in a pedicure chair. My pedicure wasn't actually started until 10:40am. This was only after one of the employees overheard me saying to my friend that I had been sitting there for 40 minutes. This wasn't meant to be rude or overheard, this woman just happened to hear me. Yikes where to start. I went here bc my normal place was closed upon the recommendation of multiple people however my experience was much different than the ones I read from others. I booked a powder dip fill but when I sat down the tech just started chopping off my tips to do a new set without saying a word. What if I didn't have the $ or time? Full set is like ten bucks more at least. Then instead of taking the time to properly remove that said he decided to drill it off which his overjealous drilling to save time filed my real nail paper thin causing it to burn. He then swapped with a woman who glued a crooked tip to my hand and grunted when I told her and was rude and rough for the rest of the service which lasted more than 2 hours! I'd be surprised if she was licensed I watched her dump dip powder onto my hand without even using the liquid coat that makes it stick 3 times in a row. In retrospect between the guy filing my nails till they were paper thin and her not even actually putting more than one coat of dip because she only used the liquid coat once it's no wonder only days later nails were cracking in half. And worst of all cracking way below my natural nail causing me to bleed and be in pain. Instead of cute nails for V day mines are cracked in half open wounds under bandages. The nails cracked so low it will be weeks before my natural nail is long enough to do my nails again unless I want acetone in open wounds which I don't think I'll enjoy. I ended up removing the nails myself to avoid the pain no nail tech was going to go so easy and devote 2 hours to gently soaking my nails off. Surprisingly my usual spot which reopened was able to put another set on without the pain I had anticipated so within 2 weeks I paid for 2 full sets. Owner did respond to review but only to ask for another chance without even offering to fix the bad set. I was the under the impression most salons will fix something within a certain time frame so I was honestly shocked when 2 days after my set the owner implied I could come back for full price and have another set put on if I was unsatisfied. I barely leave reviews but when I went to vida's and saw it's only a 3, I wanted to chime in - I have had nothing but excellent service for years. My nails have never once broken. My gel pedicure lasts forever! I love all the staff members. Yes they are often busy because of the high quality experience! And almost immediately 1 of the gems falls off my full set which I paid $10 extra for. My daughter requested black and white nails with Ying yang on 2 of the nails and it took the technician almost an hour to finish, majority of which was spent attempting the Ying yang? Honestly, this was the BEST nail salon experience I've ever had. I got a mani/pedi + add on 10 min chair massage from Paul. (1000% worth it) the tech I was assigned to was excellent. Respectful, did his job thoroughly, didn't ask any inappropriate or probing questions. I felt very comfortable and cared for every step of the way. The place itself was immaculate and tastefully well decorated. The atmosphere was spa like with classical style music playing in the background. Walked in at my appointment time, they took my temp (twice for that matter which I'm not complaining), has me fill out the COVID screening, sanitized my hands and washed them before picking a color. The guy I had, Jason, was really nice. Quiet but diligent and good. Ended up doing SNS powder and added some tips because my nails are short. Got a little massage while waiting for my nails to dry, which felt nice. Overall, definitely a much better experience than prior visits where I ended up walking out. Will return again! read more
