My regular waxer is on maternity leave and she had to cancel my recent appointment due to starting her leave early. So I came on Yelp looking for someone to take me on ASAP. What drew me here is 1) the location was in a well known area in very comfortable with. And 2) they has a fast response rate (bonus points, Gina communicates well when booking). I'm so happy I decided to go with her! She's so professional from beginning to end of the appointment. I felt very comfortable. She has such a vibrant and energetic personality. We ended up talking about soooo many topics with no dead silence in between. The [good] conversations really took my mind off of the services at hand (as best as they could of course ). I only went for an armpit and Brazilian wax... but after she was done I was SO happy that I was willing to get other body parts waxed right then and there too . For my first waxing experience (in a very delicate area, if you know what I mean), I could not have picked a better place! Gina was very easy to schedule an appointment with, and answered all of my questions about the Brazilian before the appointment. I felt like I knew what to expect after talking to her, so I arrived prepared for the experience. Gina was so professional, and the experience was quick, efficient, and most importantly, painless. Gina is a pleasure to talk to, which was a delightful distraction from what she was doing. Then, she gave me a discount for being a new customer. I mean, seriously?! Bare Body is my new little hidden gem in the world of waxing! The owner, Gina, is a true professional and the VERY BEST at waxing.. I had been using the big chain wax center but Im so glad that Gina opened Bare Body. Her small elegant space is conveniently located off the beaten path in Garden City and so very nice, new, clean and professional. It is so much more private and comfortable than other places. Gina takes the time to give you the cleanest wax with minimum pain and she does it quickly and extremely efficiently! Let me start off by saying Gina's work space is so cute and incredibly clean! I was impressed with her attitude towards both myself and the client she was speaking to in the waiting area who seemed to be a first time Brazilian waxee who was on her way out! Gina is knowledgeable and has a super comfortable personality which is perfect for her profession. Now, for the Brazilian! Not only was it PRACTICALLY PAINLESS because Gina's technique and use of hard wax but it was such a clean job. There were virtually no missed hairs and I had no bumps/swelling/etc. afterwards. I came in for a few different waxes, brow, upper lip, and, Brazilian. She did such a fantastic job. I know naturally my brows are 2 different shapes and most of the time when I get my brows done I have to accept them being a little uneven afterwards but, not anymore. They look identical! It was also my first time getting a Brazilian and I was super nervous walking in but she took those fears away quickly. She was professional, courteous, and, talkative, which helped distract me from any pain and awkwardness. the wax used was great too, most of the time it just felt like a sticker peeling off. the office was very clean. I went for the first time to get waxed and Gina was awesome! Very sweet and held conversation long enough to distract me from the pain. The office space is small, cozy and welcoming. She was so accommodating with my schedule and she worked with me every step of the way to schedule my next appointment. You can tell that she enjoys what she does! I highly recommend her. I absolutely love this place. She is amazing at what she does. I had a Brazilian done and let me tell you! It was not painful! It was quick and painless. She made me feel very comfortable. You can tell she has has been doing this for many years. After I left I called my sister-in- law and told her she has to try Gina out. Glad my friend recommended me to her. Gina was absolutely amazing! I went for my first Brazilian and just booked my second with her. She made me feel so comfortable the second I walked in. This is the best place to get waxed! The experience of getting your Brazilian wax can be painful and uncomfortable but Gina takes all that away! I would highly reccomend her especially for first timers. I've already brought 2 of my friends to Gina for their waxes and just like me they love their results too! I recently moved to RI and was hoping to find a go to esthetician and I found that in Gina. She was very friendly, professional, and very responsive while trying to find a day and time that worked best for my schedule. The space is very clean and organized, which is always really important in a waxing salon. I have never had a bikini or Brazilian wax. I ended up getting a Brazilian wax for the first time. Gina, the owner of bare body is absolutely amazing.
