My first time here, I was a little nervous about what to expect from a newly opened salon post-COVID. I was SO pleased. Everyone was so friendly and everything was incredibly clean! Someone was wiping down chairs after every customer, and we were all seated far enough apart. Also, every eyebrow threading place I've been to wears masks anyway, so it felt so "normal," which I think we can all agree is a comfort. Went to Salon Panache today to get my eyebrows threaded as I was in desperate need of some much needed eyebrow grooming. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes, maybe even in and out in 5 minutes. I dont know the woman's name who did my eyebrows but she was nice. The owner (I dont remember his name either) was super nice as well. Eyebrow threading is $10 cash. They have this loyalty card for eyebrows (not sure if it's just for eyebrows but it is for me) where after getting threaded 10 times, the 11th is free. Nice gesture. I LOVE SALON PANACHE. I've always had my eyebrows tweezed, waxed, and/or threaded at various locations. Though I've only been here once, I am now a loyal salon panache customer. I AM JUST THAT IMPRESSED. It's nice to find a place where I can continue to frequent. First off, they get major kudos for ambiance! I feel like I've walked into a five star hotel in India. It's GORGEOUS. There's rhinestones, beautiful tile work, lovely fabrics, fancy chandeliers and more. They're also very clean. I did not spot one lick of dust anywhere. I especially love the fact that the place smelled like incense. I just find that totally charming. Secondly, they have awesome and quick service. They take walk ins right away and everyone just have this very calming, catering demeanor. I felt instantly comfortable. The man at the front desk must be the owner or manager. He's a total sweetheart. And lastly, they do an awesome job! I actually brought in my 11 year old who's in that awkward not quite a teen but not quite a kid stage. I told them to clean up her eyebrows but not too much since she's young. They did PERFECT. My daughter was also being a little frantic over the pain from threading and the threader remained very patient and soothing. At the end, we received a complimentary water bottle and a rewards card. The manager even comforted my daughter a little more because he saw how she reacted while threading. I am so excited to go back that I actually can't wait for my eyebrows to grow in again! After reading many Yelp reviews, I went to Ruby for my eyebrows. She had a big smile on her face and was very friendly and polite. I showed her a photo of how I liked my eyebrow shaped and she nailed it! It took her no more than 10 minutes. She gave my eyebrows a trim with scissors too after threading. I am very happy with the result. The waiting area is very nice with relaxing music playing in the background. The salon is clean and the owner is very polite. Payment is cash only. Waiting time for Ruby was longer than usual, which was fine by me since it seemed like she is very popular and multiple people were asking for her. I highly recommend Salon Panache. read more

This place deserves the 5 starts I'm giving it. This was the first and only place I've ever gone to for threading. If you haven't tried it, I highly suggest it, much more gentle than waxing. And it is quick, probably only takes a few minutes. I go once a month and then just maintain the shape for as long as I can until I need to go back. I love the guy that works the front desk (maybe the owner), he has an excellent memory as he always recalls me (even though I've only been there three times, about once a month). He is very kind and always offers me a bottle of water. The space is gorgeous. Feels like you've left RI and entered India. The women are all dressed in their native attire which really adds to the entire experience. Sangeeta is lovely, she did my brows last time and I got a lot of compliments from ppl on the shaping. I have been to other places in RI for threading, and so far, this is as good as it gets. I have been coming to Salon Panache for 2 years now. Everyone is friendly, and staffing is consistent - they always remember my name and always hear others being greeted by a first name basis (not that's a good memory!) It is a walk-in service so sometimes there is a wait, but if so, minimal - 10 minutes at the most. Waiting will also depend on if you are waiting for a particular person that does your eyebrows and how many people are waiting for the same person. The nice thing, is they have done a great job decorating and making it a comfortable place to be if you do have to wait! I feel the prices are reasonable/comparable. There is also a card you can have signed each time you go and this will help you reach a service free of charge (after maybe 20 visits?) You will also be offered a complimentary water before you leave, don't be shy, take it, and say your thank yous! read more

I was fortunate enough to be introduced to eyebrow threading in Washington DC...If you're ever down there and want to get threaded...You MUST see Nitasha at Dupont Threading...but that is another review within itself... Moving back home to New England I went to Michelle International in Boston to see Gada to get my brows done. I read on Yelp that she was wonderful, truly a Goddess of eyebrow threading. I was really disappointed by her services. She kept telling me that I needed to trust her even though I never made it seem like I wasn't doing just that. Then when she was done my brows, which had been threaded to perfection for over a year, were all wrong. Too short on the sides, too thin for my taste. To top it all off, getting your brows done at a salon in Boston is wayyyy too expensive...30 bucks for brows and upper lip, not including a tip. Gada told me when I left that she was ALWAYS so busy and that I should always make an appointment, probably 3-4 weeks in advance. Yah right. I then began a new quest to find a good threader. This Easter weekend I was in Rhode Island and decided to give Salon Panache a try. I like that the owner has been threading since the age of 7 and has taught all of the other threaders at the salon. I also like that they regard threading as an art. When I walked in it seemed like they were busy, but I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to wait at all. I told the woman (wish I could remember her name...)that the woman (Gada) who had threaded my eyebrows the last time made them too short and thin. She understood and within 10 minutes I was back to having the same amazing eyebrow shape I once had. And for only 17 dollars! I will definitely be returning to Salon Panache. I've never had to wait since they always ask if I have a preference as to who takes care of me, which I don't, and someone's always free. I'm in and out in literally 5 minutes, it's $10, my eyebrows look awesome, and it lasts a good month. I have never gotten my eyebrows threaded before! Ususally just a wax and then in between plucking. After hearing so many raves about Salon Panache on the radio (I believe it was 92.3 or something) I knew I had to try this out! I went in on New Years Eve, hoping they would be open and they were! They were able to take my right away and the man at the front desk was super friendly when I told him I'd never done it before and didnt have a preference as to who did them. The decor is beautiful and the music ties right in. The chairs are comfortable and I was suprised at how much less threading hurt compared to waxing. I saw Ruby, and I will continue to be a loyal customer of hers! I told her that I like my brows a little thicker but still arched and they are PERFECT. The whole process took less than 10 minutes and the redness afterwards lasted less than 30. I am a BELIEVER in threading now, and Ruby is my new preference! read more

This traditional technique of eyebrow threading is very precise, gives the most flawless shape (just like the celebrities), and yet it's a very quick procedure that has you in and out in literally 5 minutes. At Salon Panache eyebrow threading runs at $10.00, which in my honest opinion is worth it for the results that you will achieve. Now I will admit the first time is probably the hardest to endure, particularly if you have a low tolerance for pain. However in the next couple of visits you will find that eyebrow threading is actually very de-stressing. One tip I would suggest to those that want to get their eyebrows threaded but are hesitant; is to moisturize well prior to threading, it will certainly help ease the sensation of hair removal. One thing I would like to commend about this work establishment is the friendly and welcoming work staff. They are truly wonderful people and always make the customer feel at ease. Wonderful! Although the salon accepts cash only, I will grab a few bucks and return! The lady that did my eyebrows didn't ask questions so I was hesitant, but she knew what she was doing. She took off just as much as she needed to and it was so quick. I mainly tried threading to avoid waxing and I needed my eyebrows reshaped because I overtweezed and had to let them grow back out. They were worth the drive! Late on a Saturday may be a good idea because they take you right away. It was my first time get my eyebrows thread - and while it totally hurt at first - I grew to tolerate it. The woman who worked on my brows was Reka and she could not have been sweeter. When it comes to threading, Salon Panache has got the business of it all down pat. The salon was packed. Which I took as a good sign. I was just about certain that I would be stuck waiting for half an hour, but was pleasantly surprised they saw me within 5-8mins. Before being seated, I was given a colored card that indicated whether I wanted to have my: face, lip, eyebrows, or chin done. Wanting to devoid all trace of masculinity I may have had, I choose to get my "face" done for the first time. The lady I had was swift in threading my cheek, lip, everything. At one point she saw me tearing up and said "this the first time you have your face done?" I said yes and suddenly she understood. She continued to thread everything as quickly and quietly as possible. By the time she was done, my face was as if she had polished it like new. I wouldn't say I am hairy per-se. I'm as hairy as any Asian gal can be. And despite the minor pinch, the end product was definitely worth it. I felt like a neatly cleaned and polished lady all over again. Salon Panache was my go-to threading place when I lived in the area. I absolutely love the set-up of the business; it is gorgeous inside and has a cool, exotic middle-eastern vibe. As far as theme goes, they definitely have it down. You can typically find the owners working right behind the counter. They are super sweet and very efficient. The second you walk in you are greeted with a smile and asked which technician you would like to see. I've learned from experience to pick one good stylist and loyally stick with her. She will appreciate that you come back to her and it helps keep your brows looking their best. Some of the technicians are more talented than others so choose wisely! It really all depends on who you see here, I have had great eyebrow shaping and some that I went home and fixed up myself. Salon Panache offers a frequent visitor card as well. They are one of the best threading options in Cranston. However, since moving, I have found Unique in Cumberland to be more consistent in their shaping technique, ALWAYS doing a fantastic job on my brows! read more
