Do not come here! I normally go to the location in Providence and she is AMAZING! This location is closer to home and has parking so i came here. First off- she did my brows BLACK. I'm super pale , i came in with brown brows, black looks ridiculous. Secondly, she got dye all over my eye lid and told me to take it off at home with alcohol. WTH? She also completely botched it he shape of my brows and I'm going to end up having to fill and reshape them every day, which defeats the purpose of getting them done. One lady here is extremely nice and does an amazing job, but another lady here was awful... She cut my skin around my eyebrow and left them awfully thin (I have thicker eyebrows). They were an odd shape that looks totally horrific. Never going back here when that lady is there. Today I went again to check, she was the only one there. So I walked in and walked out immediately without saying a word, never letting her put me into the chair to thread them again. read more

I got eyelash extensions here. The tape to protect my lower lashes was very stiff and irritating, causing my right eye to twitch uncontrollably. As a result, the application on my right eye was pretty shoddy. Many lashes were applied well above the lash line. 36 hours after application, 15 lashes have fallen off despite my being exceptionally gentle and careful with them, 14 of them from the side that was badly taped. The initial result was beautiful, but if I only wanted it to last a few hours I would have just applied strip lashes at home. Also, I had to go back in right after leaving my appointment because I noticed that the lashes were fuller on one side than the other. They graciously applied more on the side that was sparse without further charge, but they should've noticed it before I did, and corrected it without prompting before I left the first time. read more

Barring the great distance I had to travel to get here (25 minutes!), the place was worth it. Minimalist in design (how much fancier can you turn a threading salon into anyway?), the surroundings and the warm smiles of the owner and her daughter greeted me. She did exactly as I requested. Although she showed me this product that I can use for natural looking eyebrows, she did it such a non-intrusive manner. The place just opened and I really wish it were closer but if you live in this area, it is surely worth the visit. No hype, just honest and skilled service. I wish them much luck. I've been going here for about three months now, and I haven't been disappointed yet. Being a former customer of "another eyebrow threading" business in Cumberland, I was hesitant to leave and try the Threading Spot. What got my attention initially was the $25 eyelash extensions. Ive had them done twice now, and each time they come out wonderful! I chose the shortest ones, and they've stayed on for over 3 weeks! While getting my first set of lashes, I had my eyebrows threaded as well, and she did a great job! I signed up for the $15/month unlimited threading. I go every two weeks, so I save almost $20 a month. It's a great deal! read more

Not a fan of the Threading Spot. Customer service is non existent. Nobody likes to leave a negative review but I felt compelled due to my experience here. I had my eyebrows threaded and eyelash extensions put on for a wedding and was so disappointed. The threading left a thin cut on my brow and the eyelash extensions were hastily put on and felt like they were painfully rubbing the inside of my eye, I was ignored when I said so and told that I needed to get used to them, I never did. When I retuned two days later to have them removed I was given a negative attitude and left sitting with a stinging solution on my eyelashes while she applied eyelashes on another customer. When I got home I realized she had left a few sections of eyelash glued on. I applied Vaseline and attempted to take them off the following morning, they did come off but so did that section of my own lashes! Needless to say, I will not return. read more

I must admit I was skeptical to try a new eyebrow place, especially after the great luck I have had with Unique Eyebrow Threading at both their Cumberland and Smithfield locations. Conveniently, the Threading Spot is just a mere 5 minute WALK away from my house and located next to my favorite local nail spot, so ALAS I had to give the Threading Spot a try and I am glad I did! Inside, it is very spacious and well decorated. There are only two threading stations set up, which makes me a little nervous considering I have only seen the one owner threading on site. I worry once this business catches on if it will be a long wait, but so far I have never had to wait long. The one aspect I absolutely love is the owners threading technique, she makes your brows look gorgeous AND she is very careful not to hurt you. I always have ingrown eyebrow hairs and have had visits where I barely felt anything! Threading spot also offers $15 per month unlimited threading via cash or automatic credit card payment, definitely hard to beat! read more

I have been a member here for a few years and member. Where they take money out of your account monthly for a certain fee. Which was a great idea until recently. They have hired a lot new people there in the last few months and all I can is their skill set is awful. I have given them plenty amount of time to resolve the staffing issues. My eyebrows are awful as a result. So, I decided I didn't want to go there any more. I called there for a number of times and the person there on Tuesday afternoons didn't feel like taking calls. She would answer the phone then quickly hang up. This happened a number of time in a row. She finally says hello. I told her I I now go to Unique. It's on Mendon Road in Cumberland. RI. Pleasant staff. They have been helpful in making sure that my eyes grow back and not over thread them. They have a card you get stamped. If you get 10 stamps , you get a free threading. Today they are going to fix my eyrelashes, thank God Four came off and then the glue dried under my eyelashes. Causing the eyeball to get scratched. The women ask me to ask for Saima if she can't then Mona they do the better extension. Bought lacid acid facial cleanser & the matching toner excited about useing them . I recently moved to the area and was in need of a new threading spot. I saw many positive reviews for this place so I decided to try it. There were two threaders working and no wait so I got to sit right down. The place was clean and had simplistic decorations. I liked that they offer the $15 unlimited threading, that is more than enough to make and eyebrow and upper lip threading every other week worth the price. My only complaint is that they didn't trim my eyebrows as much as usual but next time I will just request that. The service was iffy and no one really greeted me but it wasn't awful. I joined the Threading Spot's monthly membership when I lived in Cumberland. I found it convenient and to be a great bargain to have unlimited threading every month. I was told I could cancel at anytime. Now that I moved an hour away from Cumberland, it was no longer a quick ride so I wanted to cancel my membership. I called at the beginning of December. The woman who answered told me I had to email her manager and provided me the email address. I sent an email, no reply after days. I called again, the woman on the phone checked the computer and said my membership was canceled. Then, I received another $15 charge on my credit card statement the following month. I called back, same woman, said she would have her manager call me. Days passed, no return call. I called back again, same woman, hung up on me, said she was busy with customers. I had to call again, I asked for the manager's number. She said she was not allowed to give it to me. During all of this back and forth waste of time, I was charged again in February...now paying two months after I canceled. When I called again, I stated that if no one called me back by the end of the business day, I would be filing a dispute with my credit card company. That evening a man called me, I explained all of this to him. He asked why I wanted to cancel (already explained it in the email that I moved). After him trying to convince me to keep the membership, he said he would refund the $30 to my credit card and cancel the membership. After two weeks, membership was FINALLY canceled, but NO refund. I had even asked if he could please call me after he put the refund back on my card. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. This company is totally scamming people, beware of them continuing to charge you after you cancel. This has been a huge waste of time making these calls back and forth with them. It's become a job in itself trying to get in touch with them and get the money I am OWED. Shady company, stay away. read more

Saima is an eyebrow wizard. I walked in.. having been 4-5 weeks since my last wax. She certainly had her work cut out for her. In about 5-10 minutes, this woman had them whipped into shape! Of the 13 years I've had my eyebrows waxed, I've NEVER had shape like this! I even got my lip done. Would've been $23 but she told me about the membership. $10 start fee and $15/mth. So for $2 more... I can go unlimited times per month and Lord only knows my eyebrows need it. I'll def be going there again and recommending to my friends! read more

Needless to say I was extremely happy with my results and continue to be a regular customer. Have lived a lot of places, big cities and small towns. I've come across two places that understand how eyebrows grow and how to shape them not just force them into something that doesn't fit your face, this place is one of the two. They're quick and good at what they do, I always walk out feeling beautiful. Very satisfied with my first visit. I had never gotten my brows done before and had explained it to her and she walked me right through the steps and told me what she was doing and so forth. I was a little hesitant to get my brows done just because of how often you see bad brows and mistakes but they did a fantastic job at The Threading Spot.
