I've been coming to this salon for months, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. I spent $130 on my nails in one week after being advised to remove my acrylics and switch to gel on my natural nails instead of getting a fill or new set. I trusted the recommendation, but my nails started breaking the very next day. By the following week, I only had 4 long nails left. I stopped in to show them what happened and explained that switching to gel was the tech's recommendation, not mine. Instead of really addressing the issue, they kept repeating that natural nails are weaker after acrylic removal. The owner told me to come back later and she would fix them. When I returned, she put acrylic back on, meaning I paid to remove them only to need them again days later. If I had been warned this would happen, I never would have agreed to remove the acrylics in the first place. What disappointed me most was believing they were fixing the issue as a courtesy, or at least heavily discounting it since the problem came directly from their recommendation. She even tried to upsell me on chrome during the appointment, which I declined because I didn't want to ask for too much. Then at checkout, I was told the total was $70. After I explained why I was unhappy, I was offered only $20 back in cash. Overall, I'm disappointed with how this was handled. As a regular customer, I expected more accountability and care. If they truly valued customer satisfaction, they could have refunded my card after I refused the $20 and left, but they chose not to. read more

I went in for a builder gel set. During the drilling process the nail tech drilled my nails where you can see my raw nail. I expressed that she hurt me and it was stinging. She brushed it under the rug and continued the service. I tried to ignore it because I don't like being confrontational. When I went home I took a shower and my nail began to sting. I called in to let them know and the same nail tech who did my nails answered and said it will go away. Will not be returning here. I came to a different nail salon for a cuticle removal and you can see the damage after three weeks of getting my nails from here. My healing process will take a while. read more

Horrible!!!! My daughter went in for a fill. The man told her it started at $38. He charged her $55 the same as her 2 friends who were getting a new set. The older man did her nails. She only had 2 French nail design on each hand and the other 3 solid. By Thursday 6 nails fell off. Took her back today to have them fix it. Was given a lot of attitude. Lots of talking in their language. Same guy did them. Severely messed up her cuticles!!! He would not do the 2 French nails in each hand. Then did not use the light. Color coming off her nails. Horrible service. Don't care about the customer. Taking advantage of teenage girls!!! I'd give them a negative review if I could!!!! read more

Very clean salon and the staff is wonderful. I have never had a dip powder manicure before, and it was great. David did a wonderful job.

The salon is clean and lots of room for pedicure chairs and nail tables. I asked them for a full set. The nail professional I had was Brian. He was very nice and funny but this is not about fun it's about getting your nails done to your satisfaction. I asked him to paint French and he did. The problem was my nails were lumpy. The Polish didn't make it to the corner of my nail. The product was flooded at my cuticle and some was on my finger. I went home peeling nail product off five fingernails the cuticle and sides. The worst part was when I got home I folded some bed sheets and my ring finger nail came right off exactly one hour after my appointment. Brian did say no refunds but they will fix it if any problems. I didn't go back. I found a nail salon that met my needs and I'm pleased with them. read more

Luke warm to cool pedicure water. 80 Dollars for a pedicure and manicure because they said it was a French manicure. Great staff! Really sweet and professional! They do great work! Tried this salon after moving from out of state.

My first time at Expo nails and will be my only. The older woman gave me a great pedicure but the polish part was not great! A gentleman gave me my gel manicure. I have areas that were not covered with the top coat, paint on my skin and he hardly touched my cuticles. I wanted to love this place as it's so close to my new house. Guess I'll be driving back to my other nail salon and I paid more than what I normally do in North Kingstown! Such a shame, prob should have requested Katie as I heard she is good. I came here off the recommendation from my coworker after she noticed a handful of bad Dip manicures. I arrived earlier than my reservation but they were able to take me early which was great. My nail tech was Katie based on my friends recommendation and she not only did a great job, but also was very friendly. I'm on week two of my manicure and so far it has not faded or chipped! My nail polish was put on smooth without bumps and not too thick. The price for a dip manicure was at industry standards. I will be back for a pedicure soon! read more

Hands down the worst manicure and pedicure I have ever received. The woman who did my pedicure was rushing through painting my nails, even though there were no other clients waiting to be serviced. I had an appointment at 6:00pm, showed up about 10 minutes early, and was rushed through my whole pedicure process. The woman also wrapped my gel finger nails in alcohol instead of acetone, which prolonged the removal process even longer that it usually takes. The gentleman who did my gel manicure also did a terrible job. He barely used any polish on my nails. I got this gel manicure on a Friday, did not have a strenuous weekend, and by Monday all of the gel on my finger nails peeled completely off. Worst part is, I PAID $60 FOR THIS TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Got my nails done here. Was the worst set I've ever had they are streaky are so thick and they didn't even paint the full nail. They left nail polish on my skin never pushed back my cuticles. And when asked for a refund he told me no and said he will fix them where I refused for that to happen it was 50 dollars and the worst set ever. Best. Salon. Ever. Brian did my pink and white exclusively for about a year and he really ruined me for other nail places! I am totally crazy about my nails being extremely uniform, square and straight. Brian knew how thin I liked them and how big I liked my whites and gave me the perfect manicure every single time. After I had been there a few times, Brian put my own dedicated set of tools into a box with my number on it so that every time I go in there, I'm being worked on with tools that have never touched another customer. I used to go quite often . They did an ok job on gel manis. I stopped going because I made an appointment at a certain time , drove 45 minutes to get there and when I got there the "guy in charge" said that the appt was a mistake and wouldn't take me! After 45 minutes I paid for THEIR mistake! I never walked in that place again , very poor customer service, OK on the nails. read more

Thought I'd try the place again and was even more dissatisfied! Not only did the lady made my nail bleed but she also cut my toenail in a way that now feels super uncomfortable. There's only one guy in that whole establishment that will do a good job and that's it. The last time I was there the lady left a bunch of bubbles under the nail polish and only painted over it.
