I did a soak-off while the he was waiting for his client to respond back and thankfully they agreed to be moved back to 11am (thanks Terrie!) So happy I gave this place a try. There were only 3 techs working when I went in, and even though it was quiet, each tech was with someone and it seemed like a solid team and work environment. My tech, maybe his name is Ky?, he was amazing. Super fun to talk to and easy going, I'm not rlly one to talk but he was asking all the questions and being funny and making me feel right at home. I had a really good experience, plus my nails turned out freaking bomb It was my first gel-x set because I was tired of how thick acrylic sets can be and how the color on them often chips/scratches off. Ky paid such great attention to detail, checking the underside of my nails after polishing them to make sure they were neat all the way around and periodically asking if I was satisfied with how they looked. I was there for a gel pedicure, and even though I arrived 15 minutes early, she got me started right away -- no waiting! She offered me water, made sure I was comfortable, and was incredibly attentive throughout. But here's the part that really impressed me: I've had a splinter lodged in the side of my toe for what felt like forever -- through several pedicures at other places, no one ever took care of it. She noticed it, carefully removed it, and honestly, it felt like she worked a little miracle on my foot. I left feeling pampered, polished, and actually fixed -- not just painted over. They never offered anything to drink, even though it says they offer complementary beverages. They also will not allow you to tip on your credit card so if you don't have cash prepared to use the ATM or hopefully the technician you're with has some sort of Cash App. Pedicure came ok nothing I would brag about. People around me started before me and we're still being worked on when they had the same service as I after me. It's OK. The spots around my big toe are still dry and there was no cuticle oil or anything along those lines. When I went to pay, the guy told me it was $85 when I told him that was impossible because my service was $35 for the pedicure plus $15 for gel that did not equal $85.
