I got an acrylic overlay done by Mickey. At first, my nails looked beautiful, but about two weeks later, I noticed the acrylic on my pointer finger starting to lift, followed by my middle finger. When I looked closer, I saw black discoloration under the acrylic, which turned out to be a green/black spot on my natural nail. I immediately removed the acrylic from that nail and went in the next day to have the rest taken off. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I spoke with Mickey, he shrugged and said it was my fault for waiting too long to come back, even though it had only been two weeks. I love coming here. You get complimentary champagne. Is this place expensive? Absolutely. To me it's worth the price. I feel like you get what you pay for. I have never had bad service from here. I've gotten several different pedicures from here, I have tried the Egyptian, Volcano, and Herbal so far. I want to try the $115 one soon. I will probably do that the next time I come in. Every time I have come in the staff always have smiles on their faces. When I come here I request Anna. Wherever she goes I go. She has been my nail person for about 3 years. I love her. I am diabetic and she is so careful with my feet and legs. My friend always requests Michelle. She said Michelle is great. This salon is very fancy, it has beautiful decor and trendy music. Nails by Rose (NBR) is one of the shops located in the new retail center where the Aldi is located, along with a bank, Plato's Closet, Urban Hot Pot, Gelati Celesti, Biscuit Belly, just to name a few. It was my birthday last weekend, and family came in to celebrate. I decided it was time for a girls' mani sesh. I had never been inside NBR, but figured it was a big space from what I could tell from the outside, so we risked going in as a walk in for 4 pedicures and 3 manicures. First of all, the inside is a vibe! Black walls, marble and gold accents, classic art. There's 2 pedicure sections and plenty of nail stations, an eyelash services section with 2 service chairs, flat screens all over, a bar and a piano! There was even a pianist playing tunes during our visit, and that was just a refreshing change from music blasting through the speakers. As we were all standing around deciding on who was getting what service, I asked a patron who was seated, waiting for someone, if she had been to NBR before and who she would recommend and she said Anthony and Tang. Anthony was with someone and Tang was free, so I pounced and requested Tang LOL. It proved to be a great recommendation, so thank you Lady! Tang was fantastic, super chill guy and super easy to talk to. I decided to treat myself to a Volcano pedi and it was pure heaven for my poor feet. You get a good soak and I chose the tropical citrus scent, sugar scrub, collagen cream mask, hot towels, collagen lotion and a sole massage with a gun massager. Why didn't I think of this to do in my own home?! I also added the paraffin wax. Dangggggggggg, every time I end up getting around to doing a pedi, I ask myself why didn't I do this sooner? I got my signature red color and what do you know? The code for the color? No word of a lie, and I'm going to put it here so I don't forget for the next time. The color code for the red that I got is... 7 5 7. HA! Would you believe that?! My oldest got her first manicure during this visit also and the lady was very kind and it turned out great! Mixed emotions. That's how I feel about this gorgeous nail salon. I totally enjoyed the ambiance and elegance..... There's chandeliers, classical art, complimentary water bottles, & even a baby grand piano in the salon. The staff was really friendly, patient and polite. Importantly, Tran gave me an amazing pedicure. My feet felt brand new, my toes were manicured expertly and my polish was applied neatly! I totally loved the pedicure. My husband also enjoyed his manicure! But I have mixed emotions because only gel polish is offered. There's no accommodation if you want regular polish. First off the ambiance is everything. It is so nice and comfortable. They have music and complementary beverages. The pedicures are great! They have a lot of different options for services and a wide range of gel colors. I can't say that I'll get my hands done there anymore, which is embarrassing because I've recommended them. I have gone twice and the shape has been wrong or inconsistent twice. Nails have no apex and can be on the thick side. I spoke up about the work to the manager the first time they weren't great. (I had an event and could wait for her to redo/fix.) The manager told the tech who proceeded to yell on the floor. I got the same tech next time too. I'll go back but for feet only. Also they have an upcharge for gel paint but only offer gel. Just build it into the price and tell people they only have gel. read more

It's extremely expensive, and as other reviews state, the price is very "nickel and dime" because why not just advertise the total one instead of adding "+15" at the bottom of everything? So I returned after a year to see if things had changed and they had but not for the better. The salon is absolutely horrible. Most of the staff have little to no experience especially the ones seated in the very last row. On top of that they are lying and baiting and switching you upon check out. So now it costs "$15.00 extra if you want your cuticles trimmed, $15.00 extra if they have file down a natural nail, &15.00 extra if they remove the gel polish, ofcourse $15.00 for gel polish and extra fees if you pay by card. It's all a scam they make up extra charges and pocket it on top of the monetary tip you are leaving them. The stations are disgustingly dirty, Dirty towels, dirty tools, dirty curing machines that look so worn they look like something out of a horror movie. Went here for the second time and Rose did an amazing job once again. Got sat right away again which is so nice versus other places you schedule an appointment at. I showed Rose a picture of basically what i was looking for and she definitely met my needs. Although it was more expensive than I'm used to paying, they still do a MUCH better job than other salons i have been to in the area previously. I've been going here since they first opened. The quality has declined significantly. The massages are shorter during pedicures. The attention to detail is not there. On my most recent trip I came in for a gel manicure - something I haven't done in months. I really wanted my nails to last for my vacation. Within two days they started chipping. Now a week later and all but two nails are completely chipped. Super frustrating to look at. If you're only going to offer gel/dip, I expect that your technicians are able to properly prep the nail surface so that they last more than regular nail polish. read more
