The people were nice. I went on a Wednesday 11AM and it wasn't busy at all. Showed the nail tech a pic from Pinterest and she did just that. The service was quick. She did cut some my pinky skin while doing my cuticles which caused me to bleed. That was the only con. The overall service was ok. I've been to other salons that offer premier nail services and spa services with the same pricing that offer more catering to customers like beverages and fruits or a snack. My only complaint is that I have had a few instances where one artist in particular is extremely pushy and always tries to upsell. My second time to this place and I will not be coming back. The first time was for my nails. I got gel, which is supposed to be stronger than normal polish. However, the guy who did them was in a rush to get me in & out (which I didn't understand because they weren't busy - I went in the morning). After that, 2 of my fingers were already chipped days after. The second time was for my toes. I came back to give the salon another shot, but I shouldn't have. I got the basic pedicure, which I've done sooo many other times at sooo many different salons. When I tell you that this was the most basic (& again rushed) pedicure, it's not an exaggeration. I had polish that needed to be removed & it wasn't removed properly. Meaning there were still spots left on multiple toes (pictured). I asked about it multiple times (if she was going to clean it up during the pedicure part) & she kept saying yes. At one point, she did try to pretend like she couldn't hear me. She was about to paint over it with my new color when I asked again & she pretended to look confused. After that was finally settled, the new polish part was HORRIFIC (pictured). At this point, I wanted to leave since the lady was basically ignoring me, but decided to stay since I was almost done. It didn't get better - the scrub & lotion part literally took SECONDS I was shocked. And it still doesn't end there. She then tried to charge me an extra $20 for "gel removal" - I had normal polish. Good to know before you go- there's a $1.50 charge for paying card, but there's an ATM in the back. I'd suggest coming prepared with cash so you don't have to get charged an ATM fee either! Hatch Nail Bar is my new go-to nail salon! The business was bright and inviting. Everything was kept clean and smelled great. There were a lot of seats for manicures and pedicures and a lot of staff. I was able to walk in and not wait at all! There were SO MANY colors to choose from, all in regular polish, gel, or dip. I only wish the massage of my pedicure was more of a massage rather than just rubbing oil on my legs, but everything felt great. The hot stones were my favorite. I absolutely love my pedicure. Mindy was 30 mins late for one appointment and an hour late for another appointment, I did not complain either time because she does good nails, The hospitality is not great, she will pull your hands and jerk you around to where you have your elbows sitting in an awkward uncomfortable position. I've been to many salons and never was placed in such an awkward position every time. She also will rush you to pick your color. This was my experience every time that I visited and I never once complained. I also always tipped well but I'm done with being ok with less than treatment just because she does good work in the end. If I'm going out for a nail spa day I should be able to enjoy it. I will not be back. Customer service matters and it is lacking there. read more

I came in with two of my friends. We are on vacation and wanted a place to get our nails done on a rainy day. Hatch did great! I came in for a gel manicure with design and it was $47. There is a $1.50 credit card fee. Winnie did my nails and she made sure I liked it and it was correct multiple times, which was lovely! She also put on some cuticle oil, which I've never had at a salon before. The hearts on my manicure are a little crooked and large, but that's okay. She would have fixed it if I wanted. My friend got a regular pedicure and they look great. We called about an hour in advance. There was little to no wait. When we got there, we sat for about 5-10 minutes before being taken back (which was much shorter than the wait time they gave us). The only problem we had with Hatch was with the full set. It took almost two hours for one color. He was taking much longer than needed and we were getting frustrated. Additionally, the tech said he couldn't do lengthy nails... aka not much longer than the finger. No reason was given as to why. Kind of disappointed. read more

Great nail salon here in Suffolk. The interior is fresh and modern, in all white it feels clean and fresh. I got a powder dip manicure and gel pedicure, they did a fantastic job. When it comes to making appointments, you might as well not make them because I always find myself waiting about 15 minutes. I also wish they were more transparent with the costs for nails because when you sit down you are told one price but they nickel and dime you for things such as shapes or length (that's not even long in my opinion). Overall not a great experience. The greeting wasn't really friendly at all. The pedicure was very rough. Just the pushing back of my cuticles hurt. The color I choose I will attach a picture of and the color it came off on my toes was a completely different color. I understand maybe they used a base to show the color but that should have been communicated to me. They said it would need to be very very thick to come out like the color I wanted which was the color they advertised. She was able to find a somewhat better color that still wasn't close to what I wanted but I let it go. Then for my hands they apparently charge for length and shaping the nail. I would understand if the length was super long. But my nails aren't. I will attach a pic of the final result and my nails were just a bit longer than the pic. They were also already round they did a take off which I understand charging for the take off but to shape the nails never have I been charged for that. $130 for gel pedicure, take off and gel manicure with design Very expensive compared to other places. The basic package incudes a foot soak in a disposable lined whirlpool foot tub, nail trimming, shaping, cuticle care, light lotion, a pampering treatment, sugar scrub, light callous treatment, hot stones, and a hot towel. My feet and toenails were not bad but after the pedicure I noticed the difference. My feet looked better. The young lady who did my pedicure did a good job. My toes looked like little traffic cones (super bright, almost neon orange color, when what I picked was more of a Barbie pink color ). This time, I called to ask if they would have time to do a manicure without me having to wait...I was told yes, no wait. Get there at the time I asked about, and was told it would be 5-10 minutes.
