Worst service ever went in for pedicure paid 70 dollars for a 15 minute pedicure then went to get full set and the guy was rude on his phone, moving my hands forcefully around, I told him he was being rude he then argued with me then went to put acrylic on. I asked about pushing and cutting my cuticles and he said that I needed to ask for a manicure before a full set he could do it after and I told him that if he did it after then there would be no acrylic where my cuticles are and it wouldn't look right, and he said that he couldn't undo it the two nails that he had done when I asked the question I told him to worry about it that I would pay he cut every tip off with my my nail in order for me to leave, even though I was willing to pay for the damn tips that they had already done. Worst pedicure ever. I never leave reviews but this experience was upsetting and disappointing. I've had great pedicures here before, but as soon as I said I didnt want gel polish I was treated differently. The whole pedicure was only 20 minutes and it felt like they were just bearding people in and out like cattle. Barely soaked my feet 3 minutes, not long enough for my nails to soften. I recently moved to Suffolk and was looking for somewhere to go get my nails done and came across Nail Time. I saw it had good reviews so I decided to give it a try. The place was clean and decorated nicely. Everyone there seemed nice except the lady that did my nails. She seemed like she wanted to be elsewhere. She paid more attention to what was going on around her than on actually doing my nails. I had to ask her multiple times to fix the shape of my nails because she would leave one side longer than the other. She also missed spots when she painted them. I got matte black. It's not hard to see where you've missed spots. She also left my nails very, very thick. I got home and the nail polish on my feet was already smudged. Mind you, I had my toes painted before my manicure, so they had plenty of time to dry. I've only had my nails done for 2 days and they already look like I've had them done for weeks. BEST pedicure I've gotten! I went for a regular pedicure and it was more than regular! A paraffin wax treatment included along with a hot towel treatment! I went in and got tended right away. My pedicure was perfect it wasn't rushed but definitely didn't take forever. I'm super pregnant and the guy basically held my hand everywhere in the salon so I don't fall! I missed the place I went to prior to moving, I tried another Suffolk nail salon an was let down so I just gave up for a few months (nuts, right)! I was able to get in very quickly despite not having an appointment. Very sago and will definitely be back.

The people are nice here and it isn't too busy but 90% of the time I often find thin spots in my polish or show through and thick uneven spots in my nails. One of my last visits the tech was incredible. I hope he is there when I go back again which would improve this score. It's more about attention to detail. read more

I moved to Suffolk and came to get my nails done with my mom and daughter about three weeks ago. I got pink ombré! I came tonight to get my nails filled and my second daughters nails done and my eyebrows, they took my daughter but told me if they cut my nails down they wouldn't be able to do ombré unless I did a a whole set...I agreed but they refused to do my nails! I will never come back, you didn't just lose my business you lost my mom and both my daughters...enjoy that $76.50 you got from me tonight because you just lost around $300-$350 a month on the four of us.... The service was fine. Nothing special. Started with a spa pedicure and gel polish. 3/4 of the way through a loud party of 5 came in and killed any degree of relaxation to be had. I did like my provider. She was friendly and enjoyable. Proceeded to the chair for a fresh new set of acrylic nails and confirmed I wanted the same gel polish used on my pedicure. Waited about 15 minutes and then was moved to another chair. Waited another 20 minutes as the walk in pedicure party was in full swing and it was clearly affecting the existing customers who arrived first. The tech who did my nails was young. She wasn't outwardly rude but spent the entire time chatting with the male tech next to her. She barely looked at me much less spoke outside of asking me length and shape. Finally complete and ready to pay the bill I was quoted $105. Curious as to how it got that high it was only then that I was told that the gel polish upgrade on my pedi was $20 and she claimed my full set was a gel set. It was clearly acrylic. I've been getting my nails done for 25 years and it was not a gel set. So that's ok. I paid what they asked , tipped and hope it was worth it because I will not be returning. The chaotic environment, inability to manage time and prioritize the clients who arrive first and the up-sell with no documented pricing to verify is enough for me to know that I won't return or recommend. This basic service anywhere else is $80 at best and that's ignoring the delay and obnoxious group that was allowed to be disruptive. I'd rather pay more at Lavish Nails where they have a serene environment, clearly documented rates, personable and engaging staff and prioritize their clients in order of arrival. I'll be sure to go back to what I know works next time. read more

This place is awesome. My mom kept recommending it to me cause she goes there. One day she came by and I was like "your nails look amazing!" she finally had me convinced. So we called and it was super easy to get an appointment (they take walk ins too). They weren't busy and got us in immediately for gel manicure (me) and pedicure (mom). They were efficient, clean, gracious, and didn't rush us along. Li/Lee (uncertain of spelling) did my nails and they turned out gorgeous, I can't stop looking at them! Can see the orginial nail..not buffed down enough, and upon getting home the underneath of nail not cleaned at all...alot of what was buffed down was left. I took myself, my daughter and my niece for pedicures, my daughter also got a fill in and I did the dipped nails manicure and paid $170 The pedicures were ok, nothing special I could have gotten the same just about anywhere else. My daughters gel fill in seems to be good but my dipped nails literally lasted 2 days before they were chipping all over the place and I ended up taking them off because I was on vacation and they looked ridiculous. I was in this salon approximately a month ago and got a French manicure and a pedicure which came to $65. After 1 week the French manicure began to chip without a cause. I went back for some type of fix and was told by the female owner it was due to my nails growing and another technician chimed in that I had picked at my nails to cause the bubble up and have receded polish. Needless to say, the owners didn't offer any free or discounted resolution other than to accuse me of being the cause of the problem. To this point, I had visited this shop without any problems. However I will not patronize this business ever again as no concern or consideration was given to my issue as a paying customer. I was a regular at Nail Time, however, I noticed that after a few times of going, the quality was steadily decreasing. The last straw was when I requested an overlay....the finish produce looked like gum drops on my nails. The gel powder was SUPER thick and I had polish all over my fingers. When I talked to them about maybe fixing my nails, one of the ladies told me that since I had an overlay and not a tip, it was going to look bulky. I know that was a lie because I ALWAYS get an overlay and they have never came out that. Love this salon! The staff are very friendly and do a great job. One of the things I like best is that I've been here at least 15 times for spa pedicures and to get pink/white gel nails and have never been 'nicked'. You know what I mean- you're relaxing and having a grand time zoning out while getting your nails done only to get jabbed, cut or sanded too roughly and having to sit there for the remainder of the time with that cut in your cuticle hurting and not trusting the tech because you're sure it will happen again... Never happened to me here. The techs take their time and do a fantastic job. The salon seems to be very clean and they sanitize their tools/ have individual packets that get opened right in front of you like at the dentist. read more

Best experience at a spa I have ever had. My feet can be rough...I'm an ER nurse and a single mom and I just don't dedicate time to me. I was able to relax and enjoy it. The massage was awesome, you have no idea how bad my feet hurt before I got here. My daughter loved it to... their chairs scoot up to accommodate her size so she can reach the foot spa. He was amazing with her as well. Thank you and I so wish you all were in Texas we would be making a monthly visit. But since we can't...I'm hoping other moms see this and bring their kiddos here...amazing experience. read more

I have been here a few times now. Communicating is a challege. They give me a surprise charge everytime. They now charge for long nails. My nail were average length. My daughter's were much longer. I paid 41 she paid 30. We got the same thing. I said, no one told me i was getting long nails. They took $5.00 off. I dont need a dicount, I want to be control of how much I spend. No more surprises. Zero stars for this one-(Yelp made me put 1 to post). What is the point of making an appointment if it is not honored? I specifically walked into the salon the day before to schedule 3 pedicures for myself and my daughters. When we arrived today, we were told that we were not on the books- until I pointed to our names, and then ...nothing? Nobody led us to the chairs or polishes, nobody explained that they were running behind, or what was going on. The salon was packed and clearly they had started working on walk-ins, which is fine, but we were left to STAND there unattended. There were pedicure chairs available, but no techs, and we would have gladly sat in the massage chairs with our feet in a tub waiting, but to stand and not even be addressed??? I have been here before but perhaps they are under new management. When we told them we were leaving they didn't even apologize. Rude, unorganized and the worst customer service/communication skills at any salon I have ever visited. read more
