I would give a 0 if i could. I have stiletto square nails, i broke a nail and while putting a tip on she used a duck nail tip (which is really wide). All while asking who usually does my nails. Customer service sucks lady tells me she can fix my shape and after reshaping three times and me saying no that wasn't the shape she told me to go back to where i usually get my nails done and then proceeded to take the nail off. I guess it's only good for the people who are use to going there but for new people i would look elsewhere. It's a BIG NO for me!! And i promise i will let everyone who ask about my nails to know that they are rude and do not no how to just say no we cannot do that. read more

I popped in here after work and margarita hour on a Friday night. I normally get my nails done in Virginia Beach (I've been loyal to the same shop for over a decade), but I knew I wouldn't be able to make it there before I went out of town the next day (plus, they were already closed). Nails First is open until 8 on Friday nights, so I popped in around 7:50 (horrible customer, I know!!) to see if they would be willing to fix only my pinky nail which was gel polish that had half way popped off. They did fix my pinky nail, and my lady did it for free, which I was so impressed with- I was very willing to pay for it. I did leave her a nice tip, since she wouldn't accept anything else. I know a lot of people (my coworkers) that go here and love it, so I had been wanting to try it as a backup plan for my own nail shop. I'm glad I did pop in. The way they remove gel polish is by having you dip your fingernails in pure acetone, and then they use the metal flat tool to scrape it off. I absolutely hate this process- my shop uses these individual nail clips and adds a cotton ball with acetone to soak only on the nail to remove polish. Soaking my entire fingertips in a bowl of acetone really dries out my fingers, and it doesn't seem healthy. I may come here for a pedicure in the future, if I'm needing one, but I will stick with my own nail shop for my gel polish. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!! Me and another girlfriend decided it would be a fun night to get manis and pedis. We heard about this place from a friend, she said good work at affordable price. COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED with my experience I went to get a fill, and the nail tech I had, Kathy seemed alright at first. But as she begun the process she was extremely rude, cut me multiple times, and ladies to be honest my nails look like complete crap. The polish they used seems to be old and streaky, very bubbly, and my nails were completely different shapes. This whole process took an unexpected 2 HOURS AND 15 MINUTES. And she was constantly telling me and slapping my hand to not move, when I was sitting still. Ended up not being able to get a pedicure due to the length of this horrendous process. Seemed quite grimy and dirty. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK!! read more

The absolute worst service I have EVER received. My Appointment time was 1400 (2pm), they didn't start on time. Ai waited 40 min then they didn't finish until 1740 (540pm). Price originally was 95.00 (breakdown 45.00 for full set and 50 for pedicure) then they tried to charge me $106.50. Half ass job on my full set and the shaping was horrible. Spent 3 hrs 40 min for a manicure gel full set and gel pedicure. Never again read more

I just recently moved here and tried this place on a whim. The salon is clean and beautiful and the staff is friendly. It's a tad more expensive than what I am used to paying in Texas or in Colorado, but Marie took her time and made sure everything was perfect on my shellac pedi and mani. Prices for shellac mani: $25 for a solid color (I think it was $35 for French tip, which I got) and $40 for the shellac pedi. I will definitely be making this my go to place considering how good of a job they did and it's a quarter of a mile away from my house. read more

I will never get my nails done here ever again!!!! So I got a fill in and gel paint a day ago an my nails polish started to bubble up and one nails peeled . So I went back to have them fix the nails that were reallly bad and they started being rude. I told her the color number I had on an she said I work her and started talking junk in her language. So I let her continue an fix my nails an she only fixed one an an kept walking behind me talking in that language and wasn't trying to do my nails. So she was like done after she only fixed one and I said u didn't fix the other and she was like I did it's done an I was like all u did was try to put a clear coat on top of the bubbles and she again started talking in the language an I said u know what u had one job an didn't do it I'm not coming her no more. Didn't like this nail shop. I went there for the first time on a Saturday. I got my eyebrows waxed, fingers and toes painted . The employee hit my toe with her shoe but didn't take the polish off . She basically put polish over top of it .So you could see where it was hit. It was cake up and the other side was thin. I believe they over charge me as well. Usually when I get my nails painted it is $7/8 dollar for polish. There was $10 and for eyebrows. I see why they was slow on a Saturday I will not be back. read more

Completely not satisfied with service. I had my eye brows waxed and was missing a portion of brow near the center and the top on one side was cut to short. When I expressed I was not happy with results and I wanted my money back they refused and said come back in a few days and we can fix it. I live right around the corner from Nails First and I don't come here often but they always come through in a pinch. It isn't the fanciest or most elaborate nail place I have ever been to but always clean and organized. The staff is very friendly and always do a great job! I usually pop in more to get my eyebrows waxed on the run than anything and they always get them right. Never been left with half my eyebrow missing or anything like that (which, unfortunately has happened before). Jackie did them the last time I was in and she pretty much got the shape I was looking for spot on. They also do a wonderful pedicure, complete with a paraffin wax at the end. All of their services are reasonably priced. Again, not the cheapest or the most expensive I've seen but definitely reasonable. But as I always say... you get what you pay for! I come here every two weeks and get good service. I can always get seated almost immediately and they do a great job.

Came here for a gel manicure upon recommendation and it was ok. They had a good collection of colors and the place was prganized. I got my gel manicure done quickly (25 mins) and I didn't have to wait so that was a plus. I did notice that they used the same towel that they used to wipe the station down as a place to rest my hand when they filed my fingernails. There was no base coat applied before the color was put on as well. It was also more expensive upon check out than what was posted so I'd recommend getting a quote before you get anything done. read more

The nail technician was so rude. The spa part of my pedicure was wonderful, but she was awful and upon closer inspection, the paint job is total crap. I also asked for an eyebrow wax and when I got home, I had to even out the bad job and finish plucking and shaping where she just gave up.
