I was given no consultation when I booked the appointment and when I showed up and showed the stylist what I wanted, she told me that she wouldn't be able to do it for the price I had booked because it was not a single process color, but a full highlight. Ok, it's an extra 10$, but ultimately that was fine. Except she then proceeded to tell me she wouldn't have time to give me the full highlight and could only give me a partial highlight. Very disappointing, but ultimately understandable. She THEN continued to tell me she would need to charge me an extra 25$ for toner. Omg, now this getting ridiculous. My natural hair isn't even that dark, it's a light brown. This cut hasn't even started and I'm already feeling like crap about it. I should've just asked for my money back and walked out after that, but I had my heart set on this look for my photos, so I just said it was fine. I sat in awkward silence in an extremely overcrowded salon for about an hour after that while she put in the highlights. This lady was so unfriendly she never even gave me her name, but I believe it was Melissa S based off the business photos. Overall, the completed look was pretty underwhelming and not really what I asked for, but I didn't hate it. I wanted layers and I can't really tell they're there, and the color doesn't really suit me and is totally off from what I asked for, but I didn't look horrible. I'm not much of a complainer so I just said it was fine once again. Then I started to realize I was really being ripped off when she started unbuttoning the cover after blow drying my hair. Um, excuse me? I asked her if she was just not going to style my hair, because it had been part of what I was paying for. She told me that blow drying my hair was the styling. Listen. This isn't my first time getting my haircut. Blow drying is not the same as styling. The package I purchased said, word for word, "One women's haircut, partial highlights, deep condition, blow-dry, and style." Blow drying my hair and leaving it completely straight is NOT what I paid for. I tried to argue this point and even showed her the wording but she kept insisting she "didn't have time" because her next customer would be there "I'm about 5 minutes." I felt so cheated and rushed out the door. She couldn't even take an extra 5 minutes to give my hair a quick little twist. I'm now stuck at home debating between having to go out and get it styled somewhere else and spend even more money or just calling off my maternity photos entirely. My hair looks so bland and lifeless, and I don't know how to curl it myself. I've never been so undervalued and disrespected, and to top it all off, I'm heartbroken that my photos won't turn out the way I wanted them to. Please avoid this place at all costs. They just want your money and to rush you out the door to get their next paycheck. What an awful experience. Pictures are of what I asked for vs what I got. I do my own nails, but I am in the area for a bit of time, and didn't bring my supplies with me, and I just was feeling a bit impatient with my current set (about 3 weeks of growth or so), so I decided to look up some nail salons in the area. Nail Ink by FAR had the best Google reviews (although none on Yelp, oddly enough?), so here I am! :) I walked in on a Friday, early afternoon (about 1pm I would say), and was met with a very sweet woman who JUST sat down to eat her lunch! I felt so bad! I had nowhere to be, so I told her as much, and please take her time eating and enjoy her lunch, no biggie for me. She still finished in like 10 minutes and I really did feel bad. Luckily, she was so sweet! I believe the is the owner (Van?) I forgot to ask her her name (even after she asked mine! SHEESH!!!). I was in and out in about an hour with the mani completed. $65. I decided to get on the schedule for the following day (a Saturday) for a pedi. The pedicure was a bit of a different story - just starting fresh with no polish on the toes (but also, no one has touched these feet in almost a year LOL). Again, was in and out in about an hour. $75. I appreciate that this is not one of those salons where you go and there's a bunch of foolishness and shenanigans going on. There isn't a menu of options to pick, and they don't try to nickel and dime you for any additional service (even a small thing) that you might see at a typical salon. I also REALLY appreciated that there was no funny business with the "cuticle cutting" on the manicure. I don't allow that (on the extremely rare occasion that I get a manicure that I'm not doing myself), because oftentimes, it's unnecessary (and it's not even your cuticle that they're cutting, it's your eponychium - which is live skin and should not be cut, but that's a lesson you can google on your own). ANYWAY, overall, I appreciated the level of care, the conversation, and the price, as well as the VERY CUTE ambiance of the location. They also do their best to accommodate walk ins along with their scheduled appointments, and honestly I think they do a pretty good job doing so. ALSO, they remember everyone's name and that is SO COOL of them! :) My mani/pedi were not perfect (never are, of course), and although I appreciate the simplicity of the service, there are also things I would have liked the ability to add if I wanted (like massage during the pedicure) or whatever else (if that kind of thing is a deal breaker for you, this salon may not be for you. But this place is great and giving major family vibes, to include the customers, and that is so nice to see and be a part of!

My appointments start on time and I'm out in a very respectable amount of time. I never feel rush or juggled & I have her full attention when I'm there. Reasonable prices and capable of accepting contactless pay methods. There is a small parking area & additional parking in the rear. This business has a ramp and is friendly to persons with disabilities. Inquire with your stylist in your style as hair is not provided. The owner named Karen is very experienced in what she does and will help you get your hair back healthy if it is damaged.
