I went there on August 28th 2026 for a pedicure and a Dip Manicure. OMG WILL NEVER GO AGAIN. I don't think the kid that did my pedicure had his license to do anything it is terrible. And my Dip Manicure that was done by Tina was really bad. I left went home called them went back on Saturday and told the manager this is not good he said I'll change the polish I said what??I need a new Pedicure and Manicure do you see what my feet look like. I want a refund.He tried to give me $20 00 . I said no dose that kid even have a license to do nails this is terrible what he and the lady did. I don't like to complain but come on. I paid $112.00 for nothing I want my money back. He yelled at the kid and gave me my money back for my Pedicure and told me they would do my nail over again. I was like no way. I really really would like to give this place another shot. The staff are friendly but the service that I've been getting for couple times now has been very awful. Hannah was my go-to nail tech and I'm sadden that she left. They introduced me to a different nail tech and I don't know her name but the couple service I received from her was not satisfying at all. My pedicure was awful and so does my manicure serviced she ended up butchering my nails that it started to bleed continuously and she kept pressing it harder. To top it off, she prayed some chemical that I didn't know nor even tell me what it is. First visit- wanted to try a new establishment because I haven't found my go to nail salon in the area yet. I made an appointment ahead of time online. Here I am still sitting waiting for that appointment in the salon 25 minutes past my appointment. I will never understand the concept of an appointment if you cannot even attempt to get in me close to it. I had to find a sitter for my child to be able to make it to my appointment and now it's taking longer than I had anticipated it to. I watched a woman walk in with her child 20 minutes after me sitting here & be taken for her service before me. The pedicure was sub par. Not the best, not the worst I've had. I wanted gel polish but after my wait I didn't want to spend anymore time here. The tools are in a sanitation bag but the strip color isn't changed sooo I think they're not actually heat sanitized. Before my pedicure was even completed they were asking if I wanted my eyebrows done. Uhhh no thanks- I'd like my service done that I'm still waiting for. I really wanted to give this business an opportunity to grow on me. As a customer, there are just some things that are foundational and play a part in if you will return. Located next to Harris Teeter in the K&K Square shopping area of Granby and East Little Creek Road, this is a welcome addition to the area. Parking is shared by neighboring businesses and is a little sketch crossing so look both ways. Walk ins are welcome and you are able to make an appointment. The website is in its infant stages and you may end up calling to get questions answered. Payment options include cash, credit and contactless pay. Upon arrival, you sign in and add your telephone number to accrue points that can be redeemed later but that is never explained. There are pamphlets with the services offered and the check in kiosk allows you to select what services you're having. Anticipate a wait...even when there are only a few customers in the shop. Each customer deserves his/her own dedicated time with their technician. Well lit, clean and spacious, I enjoyed the massage chairs and the wireless charging feature on the chair's side table. There are no bottles of nail polish to handle. You look at the color wheel of traditional, gel and dipping powder and tell them what the number is for the color you've selected. This also adds to a less cluttered look and more utilized space. For me, there are so many shortcuts taken that I've observed during my two visits for pedicures. When the water is drawn, there is nothing added to the water as you soak. In my case, I had an impatient technician who didn't even soak my feet but just started the service. There is a plastic liner used to keep the basin sanitary. However, after a service is done, I realized that no one is cleaning the foot basin. The bare minimum in products are used when receiving a service. Nothing added to soften the cuticle before it is removed and even then, it was haphazardly done and I realized I had been cut when my toes were sprayed with alcohol. In an environment where shortcuts on cleanliness are taken, a cut could mean an infection. For instruments, they are packaged in a sterilization bag. Pay attention, if the bag is already open and had never been sealed, it's an indication that they hand wash and are not using a high heat sterilizer. The sterilizer bag has a strip that changes color when exposed to high temperatures, so the facade that is offered is that they are following stringent sterilization steps. On the first visit, my mind was blown when the lady started putting used items in the foot basin with my feet still in the water! The rushed demeanor and lack of attention to detail are also detractors. I literally had to tell her that she didn't polish the sides of my toenails. If I had not spoken up, was it her intent to leave it this way? Minimal conversation if offered. If you're interested in upgrading your package, then they become attentive. For me, I need some brilliance on the basics before we go to the next level of things. Gave this location two opportunities and the mark was missed each time. An overall 2.5 star review and a candid admittance that although this is a great location, I am unwilling to return or refer others to this business. read more

I had good experiences there but my last one was really disappointing. I had called and made an appt. with the nail tech I loved. But when I arrived, I waited for 30 minutes and they told me he wasn't there. No one called ahead and let me know. So then they told me I could see someone else. I was hesitant but really needed them done so I did. I sat down, showed her the length and design I wanted and she said $65. I said great. Well after she cut down my current nails she then said the price would be $78. I asked her why the change since u didn't add anything and she just smiled and kept saying the length. I was NOT happy. How is she going to change the price when she already started on my nails?? I kept my mouth quiet until she started demolishing my cuticles. She cut me three times and every time I winced she just smiled and said she was sorry. I get my nails done monthly, it should not hurt. I asked her to forget the design and just put a solid coat so I could leave. Really disappointed as these were supposed to be beautiful as they were my birthday set. Devinn Nail Bar never disappoints! I had an appointment but ran into traffic on my way there and was going to be late. I gave the salon a call to let them know and they were so kind and understanding. Once I finally got there and checked myself in, my girl Anne was so sweet and understanding about me being late. She took me in as soon as she could and even offered to let me sit and wait comfortably in a vacant pedicure chair while she finished up with a client. As always she offered me water and sodas and had my feet soaking in the chair in no time. I went with the spa pedicure and was in heaven with how Anne did the scrub, hot towels and paraffin wax. I feel like I have brand new feet! After my pedicure, Anne did her waxing magic on my eyebrows and lip. She's always very attentive to the details and makes sure my waxing experience is as painless as possible. Anne is one of the only people I will let touch my eyebrows. The last leg of my appointment was my nails. I wanted to try something new and decided to go with the Gel-X Extensions. Tina is one of the only technicians that can do this method, and I was so excited to find out Devinn offers this service for a reasonable price. I went with my regular coffin shape and Tina got the length and everything perfect. I always have a hard time choosing colors, but Tina knew I wanted something natural and helped my dream nails become a reality. Please do not go here. If I could leave zero stars I would. I went for a simple soak off and the tech would not even allow my nails to soak. She dipped them acetone then drilled and repeated this process until my nails had been made thin, brittle, red and damaged. All of this took place within 10 min. When I arrived there was not a wait so I'm not sure why there was such a rush. But my nails are in horrible shape now, they will take months to repair. They also feel awful. One of the worst nail services I've paid for. They should be completely ashamed. Normally I see Anna Clarke but she wasn't available to book online. I ended up seeing this younger gentleman. I had a pedicure done and he decided to scrub my feet while they were dry, at no point did I get to soak my feet for more than 2 minutes. When I questioned him about it he told me that's how they normally do it. But mind you, my mom was getting hers done next to me and soaked her feet for about 5 minutes prior to them doing anything. I also mentioned that the dry scrubbing of my feet was hurting me and he chuckled and said "oh it hurt" and continued doing it. Him and the lady working next to him began speaking in their language while giving me dirty looks. I will not be returning here as it was not a good experience. This was my second time at this salon and because it is conveniently located I was intending to make it my new go to place. It's very clean, very spa like. First time I had a friendly technician who I liked,while not my best pedicure ever, was willing to chalk it up to it them working out the kinks. Sloppy polish. My child had a half pinky toe unpolished. Very minimal products and callus removal. We tried again. This time we had 2 pm appointments and we were there on time. We waited 20 minutes and were then called back for our soak. Someone came to start my child at 2:35 pm. No one came for me until 2:50 pm. I had to say no because we had somewhere to be at 3:15. The manager tried to tell me it was because people called in sick but I saw two other techs who disappeared on their breaks I guess. Everything was going normal then I told her she's cutting to deep she proceeded to not listen and stated that it's been a long time since I had one so she kept on doing her thing. I did not have the same experience as these other reviewers which was upsetting. I didn't come in requesting anything over the top either. Just wanted a simple pink coffin nail set and a white paint pedicure on my toes. I was expecting this nail salon to be better, based on the reviews and photos. The place did look as pictured, I will say that. But to be honest, it's service was subpar. Just your typical nail salon. My tech didn't talk much to me, but had a lot of side conversations going with her coworkers, which was loud. There was a child running around yelling, which I believe to be a child of one of the shop's employees (not mad at the kid, he's just a toddler.) which made the experience less peaceful. I had to guide my nail tech a few times with how I wanted my nails to look. As the coffin shape is to be narrow at the top, I told her 2x to make it more narrow, which she did do, and to make the nail skinnier (it was choonky before) and on my way from my pedicure to the manicure station, I accidentally smudged my toe polish, (most techs would gladly offer to fix, I told her about it and she just said aww). She also cut my toe nails shorter too, upon request. So overall, not impressed with my experience, or my nail tech. (I did not have Lyn as my nail tech, though I did see her working on another client, and they are right about her, she seemed goood, and personable. So upon deciding to go there I would recommend her) I was also not offered the chocolates or water that the other review had mentioned. read more

I will NEVER return to this nail salon and I am sad to say it. I have been a customer at this location for over a year and over the last six months the customer service has gone down, but what happened to me Friday 6/20/2025 is causing me to never go back. I went in for a full acrylic set, something that I typically do. I picked out a gel light pink polish and was guided to my seat. The nail tech that took me back suggested that rather than using the gel polish that I picked out, I should use the colored acrylic powder (that was very similar to the color that I picked) instead as it looks more natural. I agreed. He gets to the point where he is starting to apply the acrylic and I notice that he keeps applying and then wiping it off of my fingers. This process took forever and when he was done with my first hand I was shocked. The acrylic was lumpy and uneven. Parts of it were quite literally hardened and making contact with the skin and thumb print of my thumb while other nails were not fully covered. I brought it to the techs attentions and he stated that he would even it out. I got done with the other hand and I knew there was no way that this was fixable. I asked the nail tech to stop, walked over to the manager and showed him. His face looked shocked and he immediately sat me down in another chair and started prepping my nails to be soaked off (the manager was the one who started that process) I was so angry that I cried. I work in the service industry and I hate complaining like. I sat for an aditional hour in a half to get the first set taken off (thats how thick and uneven the acrylic was) and then ANOTHER hour in a half to have the whole set redone. I was not offered any sort of discount for my time or the situation as a whole. The worst part is that While my nails were getting soaked off, my initial nail tech was still taking other patrons. I have been coming here for a long time and referred tons of my friends. After my experience today, I will never be back and will never refer a friend. I came in for a gel mani and pedi, no big deal. Sat down for my pedi, and my tech started soaking off the color on my toes, then left for twenty minutes. Again, no big deal. However, he came back reeking of cigarette smoke. It was so choking and disgusting I sprayed perfume and hand sanitizer to try and cover the smell. He then proceeded to get nail polish all over my toes, and trim my toes down at bizarre lengths and angles. His hands were shaking so badly, that there was polish all over my toes. He did not offer me any pedicure menu options either. However, I was still polite and thanked him, trying to stay positive during my day off pampering session. Then he took me to soak off the color on my fingers for a gel manicure. Again he left for twenty minutes and came back smelling so strongly of cigarette smoke, I couldn't take it. I asked him to remove my gel and told him I no longer wanted a manicure. He proceeded to remove half the gel on my hands, leaving my fingers looking a mess. I paid $55 for a pedicure that was NOT relaxing because I was inhaling cigarette smoke the entire time, was sloppy, and not the pedicure I wanted. I was clearly displeased and left in a hurry, at the very least, a refund should've been offered. I would've left earlier but I was trying to give the salon a chance and was attempting to enjoy my day off by treating myself to a nice mani pedi. From now on, I won't be doing so here. It's a shame because they have some great nail techs but I don't need to pay $55 to choke on secondhand smoke for an hour. read more
