Just came in the get a fill in. Ig it's partially my fault for not asking exactly what it would cost for the services I wanted done. I was charged $62 for this service and tbh I think that's way too much money. I did ask for a price break down which I was told I was charged extra for the reshape , pink dip powder . Worst pedicure of my life. Im not sure if he just didn't care. I got seated quickly probably due to lack of people . However , I told him what I wanted and he started , but most of the things he did were so ruff he was basically murdering my legs it hurt so bad. There was no enjoyment. Then when it came time to paint my nails he started then stopped and let another lady assist. She sucked even worse. They spent a good 30 minutes just getting the green nail polish off my toes where it wasn't supposed to be. Side note they didn't even offer water till I was almost done. Also I still have some green on my toes where it shouldn't be. So I will never im my life come back here. If I could give zero stars I would. 0 out 0 would not recommend. If you like spending money to feel stressed out, here's your place. Idk about you, but I feel stressed out for free on the regular, so no need for me to spend money. I walked in at 10:00 on a Friday right as the business opened. I was tended to quickly since they had just opened. I let them know I just needed a regular pedicure. And then it all went downhill from there... After being handed the book of colors I was asked what color I wanted approximately 1 second later & was given no time to look. After I finally picked a color I was then asked to choose which pedicure I wanted. After I chose #1 I was told 3 times #2 is nicer. I hate having to repeat no over and over- no means no. I had gel on my toes currently because my husband had treated me to a pedicure for my birthday prior & didn't know I just get regular. So it was $5 for the gel take off which is no big deal. The big deal was that I wanted regular polish and not gel. I had to literally, and I'm not even exaggerating tell them 5 times that I didn't want gel before they moved on. The fact that I didn't want a manicure was almost an insult to them. And then I got judgey looks at my fingers the entire time I sat there. I had to be busy on my phone the entire time & couldn't even relax in the chair. If I wasn't busy they were pushing something else onto me. The reason I go for a pedicure is just to sit & have peace for a moment. The pedicure was SO fast paced. I get that I didn't get the "spa" pedicure for the extra $15 that she tried to push me into, but for still paying $40 I expect more than lukewarm water and you using your actual nails to scrubbing deep into my legs. Moving on... Then when it came time to actually paint my nails she STILL had the gel polish in her hands. And I had to repeat again, NO, I want regular polish. Somehow I managed to get regular polish after all that- I never thought I'd get what I requested. Upon finally being done, the other woman appears and asks if I want my eyebrows or lips waxed- I get every nail salon asks you this just about, but do they not realize how rude it is- especially since I just got waxed last week lol. If I wanted it, I would have requested it. Then it came time to pay. OF COURSE there's no tip on cards here. So unfortunately she got whatever cash was left in my wallet (still a 15% tip), even though I'm not sure if they even deserved that much. I'm usually a 25% tipper everywhere, but in this instinct I didn't want to give anymore time or money to this establishment. Still new to the area so I'm dipping my "toes" into all the establishments to find what I prefer. I really wanted to like this place so bad bc it's close to home and my first experience was nice.. but I've been here a total of 4 times now, and I'm sad to say I just cannot justify coming back... Michelle did my nails the first time, don't have a pic but I got a basic refill nothing crazy. Few weeks later, came back for another refill. Someone else this time, don't remember her name, but paid the same amount I would've for a full set. That hurt a little especially bc the nails were different sizes, shapes, and thicknesses. But I wasn't super upset bc they weren't too noticeable unless you looking fr. But still, due to expense + quality, we have strike 1. Okay. Next time I came in was 2 separate days for 2 different services, (to accommodate different friends) all in the same week. I had the same gentleman for both services (pedi & soak off + dip). And I'm sorry but even tho he was the same tech it was strike 2 and 3 for me. First I got a pedicure. I had trimmed one foot's toenails due to a breakage and I couldn't just cut one nail, sue me. But I really wanted them to be trimmed and shaped professionally so I just left it to the one foot. During the service the gentleman did not make much of an effort to get my toenails to match. One foot was round and the other was square and clearly longer even tho I asked for them cut. So I did ask him for them to cut them shorter and rounded out like the other foot and he sort of fixed it.. But when it still wasn't what I wanted I figured maybe it was my fault, I should've cut both feet, plus who's gonna look that hard. I let it go. Then I come in again a few days later to get my acrylics soaked off and have my natural nails shaped and painted. I brought a reference photo, which I have attached to this. First, he didn't do my cuticles. That's the main reason I get my nails done in the first place. He even asked me, literally asked me, if "I want my cuticles". Maybe I misunderstood? I said "yes I want my cuticles done. Is it not included?" He didn't answer. I should've known then. I should have just gotten my nails soaked off and left.. but nope. I gave it a chance bc like I said, I really wanted this to be my new spot. So he cut my nails down, and I immediately can tell they are uneven. I will say, I am a PERFECTIONIST when it comes to this part. And I've had doubts in the past with other techs and sometimes they prove me wrong. So I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Wrong. He even put my fingers next to each other to measure. And some are still longer than the other on either hand. Yk usually sometimes you get one hand that's longer than the other. No, these are mix matched. And my index finger on both hands?? Way too short compared to the rest of the nails.. I did ask him to make certain ones shorter. It didn't make a difference. After I gave up on having them be even, we move onto shaping and he immediately starts rounding one of my nails. as soon as I realized I stopped him and told him I wanted square. Like the photo. And I apologize to him. I'm still a bit upset at myself about this bc I'm not confrontational, so I'm often apologetic for things I SHOULDN'T be! I showed him what I wanted. I verbally said what I wanted. If he forgot or didn't know he could have asked. But anyways. So he shapes them, not too bad, some are crooked, but Ik I can fix that when I get home, I'm not mad. But then it comes to the little heart designs. I regret so much. I really should've spoken up and just put an end to it. It took him 8 try's on the first nail and really I gave up at that point. I was just riding it out. I'm not meaning to be rude, but clearly he struggled with the heart design and if he didn't feel comfortable he should have said he can't do it or had me wait for someone that could or something. They ARE hearts. I DID ask for hearts. BUT. I wanted them to be placed like the photo. No they are not THAT bad but i am uncomfortable. And sad bc i wanted my cuticles done and spent way too much on these. Like. Please this has been the most disappointing my nails have ever looked and I PAID, my hard earned money for that. And there's no one to blame but me huh. Please save your money or make sure you get Michelle.. read more

It's also very very clean I requested for my natural nails to be painted w gel polish and I received a flawless manicure and a nice hand massage after it. Overall nail experience was great. I called ahead for a mani/pedi. My nail technician was very skilled and talented. I love to keep my nails very short, but we'll shaped. She did just that and even helped me select the perfect color. I would certainly go again if back in the area. When I got into the room everything seemed fine, and then when she found out I had a Groupon she got extremely nasty. She told me she didn't take them and she reopened the door. I was confused, and then she asked me if I had 35 dollars, it was so rude and unprofessional. At that point I certainly was not gonna pay to be tested like trash, so I decided to leave. They use autoclave to sterilize the instruments. The ambiance is a beautiful calm. While I was there , I met a client of their's who had been with them since the beginning. My pedicure was amazing. The massage chairs there have many options. This was the first of what I plan on being many future 10 star experiences with these ladies. After my toes were done my daughter wasn't finished so I sat there and waited . Suddenly I had hot coals and wax brought out to me so I'm looking at the service list hmm .. okay . My daughter was crying bc the heat of the dryer for the gel polish was pretty hot . I was constantly asked if I wanted my eyebrows done or eyelashes after I had already said no! I really love how this place has small cubics, sparkles, pearls, and even gold foil to decorate your nails. It's hard to come across nail salons that have these, and when I saw them in the pictures, I knew I had to come here. I did street parking right across the street for free, but the staff also kindly informed me that they have a parking lot in the back as well. I came with a picture of gel nails that I saw a previous client receive, and the staff was very friendly in telling me what pieces were needed and that they could receive it. I got a fancy design on 3 nails, which I had to pay $12 extra on top of the $35 for gel, but seeing the results really made the extra cost worth it. I've been going here for pedicures for some time now, and after my experience on Saturday, I will NOT be returning. When I go for a pedicure, I want it to be relaxing. This was anything but. I felt like they were just trying to rush through my pedicure and get me out as soon as possible. The tech couldn't even wait for me to be done before he cleaned the foot soak tub and put a new liner in for the next person. My feet are rougher than when I went in. I rec'd no foot and calf massage, which has always been part of the basic pedicure package. And to top things off - that same pedicure is now $10 more than it was before. I guess they raised the prices to help pay for their new equipment. Unfortunately, it looks like they have lowered the service with that higher price. Don't recommend them at all. read more

I wanted to come here a few times before I truly decided to give my opinion on this particular nail salon. In all honesty I'm torn. It's in a perfect location for me, close to my home and every time I've needed to be seen on short notice they always fit me in. Well it comes to you get what you pay for. Their regular pedicure is $35 and its pretty decent however, each time within 3/4 days my toe nail paint has been chipped or peeling off. It doesn't last. When you first walk in to this location it definitely smells like a nail salon, acetone is heavy. There are plenty of pedicure chairs and tables for all of your hand needs. I would come here if I needed to get my toes or nails done in a hurry, but if I have time to make an appointment or can get fit somewhere else, thats where I'm heading. As mentioned, its well priced, in a convenient location but service is meh and products need to be upgraded. read more

I am definitely not pleased with the service here. The guy who was doing my gel manicure and pedicure was nice and all but he seriously doesn't know how to do his job. I had gotten my nails done yesterday and they are already coming off of my hands, my toes look alright. I am disappointed. I paid 85 bucks for my nails, only for them to come off the next day. Such a rip off. I moved here recently from California so I had to leave my nail lady that only charged me 60 for pedicure and manicure and they lasted me for a month. Also when I went to pay he told me the the total and I asked for change back. I was scared to try a new nail shop but since I will not be home any time soon, I had no choice but to get my nails done in Norfolk. This being said, I am absolutely in love with how my dip powder manicure and basic pedicure came out. Also loved my experience. There were positives and negatives but positives outweighed the negatives. + Louis (pronounced LOO-E) was very attentive to detail and definitely took his time I went in on a less busy day so they started on me immediately (Wednesday at 3:30PM) He was very friendly and constantly checked to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain Definitely worth the money My nails look really good - I was there from 3:30-6PM for a dip manicure and basic pedicure. My cuticles are bleeding really badly on my hands and they burn but he apologized for hurting me. Next time, I'll probably just ask to skip the cuticle cutting just because it hurt so much. I love my nails from the front view although I do think they look overly thick from the side angle. My tech did an amazing job with blending for the ombré look as well as shaping my nails. I have a go to Nail Spa but I received a gift certificate for this business for Christmas. It came highly recommended by the giver. I called that day and was able to get an appointment for. Pedicure within a couple of hours. When I went in the door the young lady who took my call mentioned my name with looking in the book. I had Louis, a young man, do my pedi. The decor is very nice and relaxing. Louis did an exceptional pedi. And the leg and foot massage was outstanding. I still have some $ remaining on my gift certificate.
