Always great work here. I've tried SO MANY places in the area and none were able to do a regular pink and white. Kevin gets me right in and out and my nails actually last at least 2 weeks I build and do construction so I'm used to needing repairs weekly. Great place!! I went in to get my nails done after seeing they were one of the only places open and available at the time that I needed. I'm just getting back to work after COVID closed my business, so I decided to pamper myself before the start of a busy week. I asked for long coffin shaped nails & they aren't consistently shaped at all. They're all a little wonky & my pinky nail is smaller than the rest of them. They also felt sticky because they did not spray and wipe the surface of the gel polish with alcohol like most of those kind of polishes require. I let that go, still tipped %20 in cash, and I figured I'd go back to my regular place when I need a fill because coronavirus has a lot of places stressed out. Flash forward to 4 days later & one nail breaks off because I scratched my leg. I call and ask if I can get it repaired so they tell me to come in. AFTER getting started the woman tells me it'll be $5 to fix it and proceeds to painfully remove part of the acrylic with another nail tip. She left on the other part of the acrylic she couldn't remove and stuck another tip underneath of it, then proceeded to slap acrylic back over it. Didn't have me wash off nail dust or anything before repainting. I didn't notice until I got home that there's a huge chunk exposed on the left side of my nail that I'm going to have to have fixed. I'm a hairstylist so I'm going to get fungus if I keep this nail on. Basically spent $65 on a shitty set and now I'm going to have to get them fixed once the pain dies down from the "repair". I enjoyed my pedicure. The staff was friendly, and very professional. The gentleman that did my pedicure was great. He and I had a great conversation and he was excellent with the foot massage. The establishment is clean, the pedi chairs are large and nice with the massage features. I have had better work don't on my nails. The relaxing experience is there but the work they do on your nails is not worth the money. Update: After a couple days I noticed the polish from my pedicure chipping. And also the nail polish from my manicure. I paid extra for the gel for both my mani and pedi. I spent more then I usually do on my nails and I am disappointed with the results. My friend and I were here just visiting some family from Virginia and decided to get out nails done here. My nails ended up fine but I was a bit bothered by the way they were taking off our acrylics. The used another acrylic nail to pull of our nails. Acrylic nails are supposed to be soaked in acetone to soften the nail and it is scraped off. Because of their methods of taking off acrylic my friends nails are now bleeding and she has no nail on two fingers. And to top it off she had to pay full price for the nails and they didn't even do all 10 fingers. The barely filed her nails and she got a clear coat!! $35 dollars for a gel clear coat on 8 fingers !! My stepdad came in to ask for a refund because my friend was actually in pain. read more

I stopped in here for the first time yesterday and was very happy with my experience. The power had gone off at my home, so I ventured a little bit further for a little pampering. I walked in at about 7:15pm and there were about 6 people working and I was expecting a wait. As soon as I picked out my colors (pedicure and gel manicure) a lady walked out of the back to help me. She scrubbed and polished my feet until they were nice and shiney (I felt a little bad considering she looked very pregnant - I wanted to ask her if she'd like to trade seats), and was obviously paying close attention to detail. Once the pedicure was done she moved me over to the nail station and stayed late to complete the job without rushing. They even took a lady who came in about 20 minutes after closing for a waxing job! That's what I consider excellent customer service. Note: they also have a butterfly pedicure chair that looks like it would be perfect for a mommy daughter date. read more

The salon is clean and bright. I've had pedicures and manicures here. I had never tried gel polish before but decided to try it. The past several times that I've had my nails done, I've gotten gel. I like that my technician does not use the machine to remove the old gel which helps to keep my own nails' strength. I just moved to the area and this nail salon is right around the corner. I originally was trying to Find another salon but ended up getting lost and I thought why not try this one. I walked in and the people were all very nice. They seated me quickly and I was off to getting my pedicure. I got what was considered a spa pedicure. Pretty much meant a regular pedi with a quick run down of fun smelling scrub and a hot towel rub. It was nice but quicker than the basic pedi took. I was disappointed to see I was finished before the lady next to me who only got the regular pedicure. I know that some people give pedicures differently and take more time but this was exceedingly quick. 15 minutes max. Everyone knows that a great pedi lasts longer than that. 20-30 minutes minimum. After he filed my toe nails they felt sharp and jagged. Then he quickly Painted them and off to the gel manicure we went I was nervous when I sat down in his chair because I guess I kind of seem picky when it comes to nails. Let's just say I wanted to cry when I left. I spent 70$ on this mani pedi and I could do my nails better. When I go to the nail salon I just want to relax. It wasn't the case here. I felt bad and paid and left feeling like I wanted to go right down the road to another salon and have them fix everything. My gel mani was crooked. The paint didn't even color my Whole nail. There is a huge bubble that had popped on my ring finger. I feel like a huge complainer but for all those people who are particular about their nails I would not suggest this place. read more

I always leave Nail Spa satisfied and happy. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff professional and attentive. I am a bit of a stickler about my mani/pedi's yet the nail techs are always patient and extremely helpful. Leila is a Godsend and she has a 6th sense when it comes to sculpting nails and her pedicures are truly heaven sent! She is gifted when it comes to her craft. I could go around the corner to my neighborhood nail shop, there's practically one on every corner, instead I drive almost 40 minutes to get to Nail Spa for their impeccable service. read more

If I could give zero stars if possible. My daughter went in to get her nails done and she showed the man a picture of what she wanted and he said that he could replicate it. He did a terrible paint job that was streaky and then put a decoration that in no way resembled what she wanted. It looks horrible. Long post ahead, sorry! **This is for the people who want to know about whether or not this is a good place to get a full set (acrylic nails)** Super disappointed in this place - for the record, I really wanted to like it because it's really close to where I live & it was the first place that I decided to try since recently moving down to VA. Two stars because in my opinion, it's really nice inside, looked to be clean and the people who worked there were very nice to me. However, the nail job was awful! I went on a Tuesday, they did take me right away and the guy who did my nails was very nice, but there were a lot of things wrong about this experience. For those who've gotten a full set before, you know what to expect: once they put on the tips, they usually* ask how long you want them -that didn't happen here, the guy just cut them and kept going (they looked to be about the length I usually get them, so I let him keep going); after they cut all the tips, they usually* compare the nails, finger by finger, to ensure the lengths are the same- also didn't happen here (I thought maybe each salon is different and he'll measure them later); then he only used one thin layer of the acrylic- usually they do two) .. Needless to say, this wasn't going like I thought but being new to the area, I wasn't sure if maybe nails were done differently here. Then came the filing, oh dear god, the filing. By the time it was done, the nails had no natural looking curve towards the tip (they were flat), he cut my cuticle too deep on my pinky & it started bleeding (he just put his finger over it with all the acrylic dust to stop it- which only made it burn more), filed another nail so deep on the side that he literally filed the skin of my finger down (so painful the next day), left a huge gap between the acrylic nail and my cuticle (looked like I already needed a fill in - but why?!) and the nails were super thin and looked like there was barely any acrylic on top. At this point, I'm pissed off and I just want out but I don't want to be rude so I thought I'd let him finish (hindsight, I wish I didn't, but I can't change the past). Then comes the polish. Hands down, the SLOPPIEST & FASTEST polish job I've ever seen. It was all over my cuticles, and the sides of my fingers- it was bad. All of this, only took 25 mins - I called my husband to pick me up, even he knew I was there for too short of a time. Acrylic nails *in my experience* usually take about an hour/hour and a half. When I got home, I tried to clean my fingers up and repolish them (did I mention some of the bald spot missing polish and top coat on my nails?). Also, when I got to look at my hands and compare my nails myself (he never did, btw), my left hand nails were ALL shorter than my right hand and rounded in places (I asked for square tips). I ended up calling and talking to a really nice woman who told me the guy already left for the day (maybe that's why he rushed my nails?) and to come back on Thursday (he's not there on Wednesday) and they'll fix them for no charge and she told me what time they open. Okay, maybe it was a bad experience and if they're willing to try and fix them, they were really nice and maybe should be given a second chance. Shame on me. I got there a half hour after they opened, the guy wasn't there so they called and told him to come in- they said it'd be a half hour. So I waited. I got there at 10am, he didn't get there until 11:15am (why didn't I leave? I had no choice but to wait for them to fix it - my husband's ship's Christmas party was that night and this was the first salon I've ever been to since we've move down here a few months ago - plus it's within walking distance from my house and I can't drive). I told them what I was there for, that I wanted the nails on my left hand to be long like the nails on my right hand. No one listened and the guy let this other girl sit down and start filing down the nails on my right hand. At first I thought she was taking off the nails to redo the whole thing, then I realized and stopped her and told her what I wanted and she had to go get the same guy who messed them up to fix them. He tried to tell me that too long wouldn't look too good, and while I agree, 1-I wasn't asking for them to be super long and 2- I'm paying for them, shouldn't they be what I want? After realizing I wasn't budging, he started to try to fix them. Also, when I told him about the gap between my cuticle and the nail as well as about the length being too short, he told me that in two weeks it'll be longer and that the gap would make the fill in easier .. Uh yea, but I didn't get my nails done for two weeks from now, I did them for the Christmas party & how is it helping that my nails already look like I need a fill in when I literally just got them done! I really like this salon! It is clean and soothing. There is always plenty of staff and I have never had to wait (and I have been there at least 6 or 7 times). I have had my eyebrows done and was happy - they matched! My manicure and pedicure were very relaxing and attractive. What I thought was nice is that my manicurist paid attention to me and not the tv, cellphone, or another staff member. I could also communicate with him/her. That is important to me! read more

This place is SO unsanitary. They don't clean their tools. I went in for a pedicure and felt more dirty after I left than when I went in. The spa was filthy and the water was dirty. I asked that they replace and they got mad. They tried to reuse the files they had previously used on other people on me. I asked them not to and again got mad. They tried to scrub my callouses with the same filthy file they'd used on a previous customer. They also tried to use the same filthy toe separators on me and again I asked them not to. The towels looked more like sheets because they were so worn. Overall if I could give this place a zero I would. Also their service is horrible. And here stupid expensive read more

Not happy. This is my second time coming here. First time the lady doing my nails cut me and made me bleed when cutting my cuticle. Not ideal, but she apologized, at least. Gave this place a second chance today for a spa pedicure. The guy doing it did a good enough job. I'm 100% sure what happened (maybe the tub was leaking?) but the guy stared using the towels my legs had been wrapped in to mop the floor next to the machine- while I was still in the chair being worked on. I thought it was somewhat unprofessional, since he was still working on my feet, but I wouldn't be writing the review if the problem ended there. One of my sneakers became soaking wet in the process of him swinging around the rags on the floor try to mop up the water. I didn't notice this while he was mopping. When he went to hand me my sneaker on afterward, I wondered why he was slapping it against the side of the tub- it was because it was SOAKING wet- top of the sneaker and foot bed, which became apparent when I put my sneaker back on. He didn't even give me a heads up like "oh, your sneaker got wet!". When I pointed out how wet it was to him he just laughed a bit. Getting sneakers soaking wet is not great for them. He could have said sorry before handing me the sneaker, which he KNEW was soaking since he made and attempt slap the water off, or after I let him know how wet it was. But no. Had he apologized I wouldn't be writing this review either. It would have been a bit miffed that I was going home with a soaking wet shoe and sock, but hey, stuff happens. But the lack of a simple "sorry" or anything along that line is the part that really annoys me. Had I done something stupid that resulted in his shoe getting wet I would have felt awful, apologized a ton and tipped excessively. Maybe this is a removed experience, but I'm never going back. There are nail places all over the place. I'm sure they can do a better job than this. And at $38 for a spa pedi it's not like this place is a "steal" either. read more

I am very disappointed with Nails Spa. I visited this establishment on Monday June 2nd after work hoping to get a wonderful pedicure and instead I left with one of my feet hurting after the cuticles on 2 of my toes were cut improperly. When David applied the polish by toes immediately started burning from him cutting my cuticles too far back. I advised him and he looked but didn't do anything to try and make the issue better. He responded " I could put some Alcohol on it..." I said no are you crazy my toes are already burning. I left very unhappy and had to pay which should not have been required given the poor experience. read more

I went to this shop twice, last fall and earlier this year. Both times, the guy who did my nails was very pleasant and cheerful. I liked the look of the shop, I'd been to some in the area that looked old and somewhat dirty. Both times I got a gel polish and even though it had been two months before I went back, the guy remembered me and remembered what color I'd gotten. However, both times the polish the manicure was non-existent, and the polish put on sloppily. When it goes up over your cuticle or on your skin, when the nail begins to grow it catches on everything. I couldn't even wash my hair without inadvertently yanking strands out of my head because they got caught between the nail and the polish. I really think that perhaps the guy who did the polish has a vision problem, because one nail had the polish down over the cuticle, and the next would have a huge gap between the two. It doesn't matter how clean and how nice they are, I'm not going every four or five days to get my nails done. read more
