I've never gotten so little for the highest level pedicure in all my years of getting monthly pedis from Texas to Jax. Got the $45 spa deluxe and it's literally just a sugar scrub and hot towels, the "massage" was a total of maybe 7 minutes for both legs and was more slaps and lightly punching my feet. There was zero massage that you'd expect from a normal pedi. I'd checked the prices on here and saw the old pic where the $42 came with the paraffin so maybe I was confused but that's certainly not the case anymore it's an extra $10! I've never gotten the most deluxe level pedicure and not gotten a paraffin wax or hot stones at the least. I left feeling absolutely jipped on a day where I really needed relaxing. I also noticed them putting the towel they used on a fan rather than in a hamper somewhere??? Added a star because the polish looks good. read more

My husband recently went there to get a gift certificate for me and asked me how I stand it in there because it's so hot. Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. I did SNS with tips and my mom got a pedicure with gel. $100 for both. Great prices. No wait. The best part is they had so many colors to choose from for both gel and SNS - more than my normal place in Atlanta. I think this place is fairly new. I came in for a basic toe nail clipping and basic polish. They make you feel uncomfortable by being very pushy, forcing you to buy the more expensive services you don't want. Very pushy about you upgrading when you have clearly stated want you wanted several times. They use CHEESE graters on your feet. Leaving the bottom of your feet sore and raw. Super disappointed with how things are ran there. The woman who did my nails was very rude and rough with my hands. All I wanted was a simple soak off with a clear polish. She tried to charge me $15 just for soaking off my nails telling me that it would be an extra five dollars for me to get clear polish on my nails. After I said no thank you to the clear polish since I was not going to pay five dollars for that she snatched the card out of my hand and started talking about me to her coworker. Harry and his team do a really good job with nails. I get sns and gel. The technicians are friendly. I bring my 9 year old daughter and she loves it. The reason I cant give this business a good rating is because their prices are inconsistent and when I brought it up I was told that there are two managers. When one manager is there it costs 150$ for me and my daughter. When Harry is there it is 110$. So essentially they suffer from a poor business model with two different businesses sharing the same space. Its unfortunate really. When Harry is managing its warm, welcoming, great nail work and fair. When the other manager is in charge the atmosphere is very different and the prices are ridiculous quite frankly. Kids mani/pedi is on the price list as 20$ for regular polish. If you do gel (which lasts) its 50$ for a child mani-pedi. I think this business can do better with the pricing and I will amend this review when they do. I want to give them 5 stars! Its hard to find a good nail salon guys! my daughter wrote the first review. I would like to expand on it. We visited this nail salon on a Saturday and the service was still very fast and friendly. I especially appreciate how much time they spent doing my 8-year-olds nails. Helen really made her feel special and took her time. She smiled the whole time. Furthermore, I am not big on nails; I rarely get them done. Still, the nail tech Tom was very polite explaining my options and did a great job on my French tip. I wish I lived in Jacksonville and could visit more often. read more

I went to get my overgrown gel nails removed today and repair a broken nail. It was torture! Rather than using acetone to soak and remove them as is usually done, the manicurist treated them like acrylics using a very course grinder, frequently over grinding them and causing jolting pain. The nail that was broken down to the quick was cut back and left ragged. Obviously the guy was clueless. He destroyed my nails, it will now take months to regrow them. Never been here before but won't be back. It was 82 degrees out, they had two fans on and the doors open but it actually felt 90 in the salon. The place did not exactly look clean or well kept. Bugs were flying in and out from the doors being open. And my back was sticking to the leather "massage' chair. Which the chair was probably atleast 10 years old, not comfortable or relaxing and was made a pretty loud squeaking noise. This is my 2nd time coming here. I honestly don't remember the first time very well except it was right before closing on a weeknight and I wasn't wowed but it was not a poor experience. I have been trying a lot of nail salons in the area to try to find a new "home". I am having to accept that The norm for this area isn't having paraffin was and longer massages. The one I tried to go to today was a long wait and honestly I just really needed a pedicure. They sat me down right away at this location and it was a white girl working on me which is different than your normal places. She was very nice and gentle. The price was only $20 without tip....can't complain with that price. I only wish that the massage had been longer, it seemed very brief but the pedicure overall didn't feel rushed. We will see how long the paint job lasts. A lot of the reviews for this location are poor but they are old reviews and so it may be better now. read more

I have been getting my pedicures and eye brow waxing done for about a year now. They have been ok until recently. Last time I was there they insisted I pay cash, even though the debit card machine was working fine but she saw I had cash in my purse and wanted that. This last time I had a male technician. Not the one that seems to run the place, the other one. The slow one. My pedicure took longer than those who started half way thru mine. My toenails were cut too short. The cuticle clipping hurt. My toes were rough and had chunks taken out of them. He was about to start polishing them before I stopped him and asked him to file the nails straight as they were all different lengths and crooked. The filing was painful of course because the nails were too short. The polish is ok, but there is polish on the skin around the toes. If this was my salon, I would not want this pedicure to walk out the door. I will not be returning which is too bad because I like the rest of the staff, but they all saw how long it was taking him and my frustration was visible but they just went back to reading their magazines. read more

I've been here before, but the "I don't give a damn" service has risen. On 8.26.15, I went in for my first gel pedi/mani & I was the only customer the entire time. As the male nail tech started on my nails he polished them white, claiming b/c the blue color I picked was too light. After he finished everything I told him that I could see too much of the white along the cuticle line so he gave me a 3rd coat. After leaving, I noticed more & more how horrible the paint job. It looked as though the polish started to bubble up. Some areas were thicker due to all the polish he put on. The next day I went back to show the owner & ask if they could redo my nails. As he looked at my nails, he immediately began to tell me that they were all bubbled up because of the shape of my nails....Bull shiggity! This made absolutely no sense to me. The guy who worked on my nails came over & tried to say the same thing. I explained to them both that the nail job itself was a mess. More white was visible the next day, so I told them that I did not come there to argue with them. I wanted to show them my nails & see if they would redo them. The guy who did my nails offered to change the color. He basically drilled the gel around the cuticle line & put a new color on top of that. He offered to do nothing for my feet. While sitting there, another woman came in complaining about the same tech doing the same thing to her nails. The nail tech was so rude while talking to her & he just walked away from the woman as if she wasn't there. She began to talk to the owner who basically didn't give a damn & asked her why she waited 5 days to come in. He told her the nails may look that way if she does hard labor work. She told him she was a nurse & she has been coming there for a while & that he knows her nail job is supposed to last 2 wks. She stated that she didn't want to argue with them; she wanted them to see her nails & know that they had just lost a customer. All I am thinking is, they just lost 2 customers. I almost said something to the woman but I didn't want to cause more confusion. This nail salon doesn't appear to care much about their customers & how they feel. I would suggest that anyone go to another nail shop for a more professional experience. read more
