Hands down one of the best nail salons i've ever been to. I went with my sister for the first time and we loved it. The staff were all kind from the moment we stepped in to the moment we left. I got a full set with gel polish, rhinestones and a design on both of my ring ringers and my sister got a gel manicure. Tracy was my nail technician. She was fast, sufficient, gentle and careful. Ask for Tracy! Will definitely be coming back soon. read more

Riverside Nails & Spa - Acrylic full set with gel polish, rhinestones and a design on both ring fingers for only $57! - Waxing Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

3.5 stars. I came on a Tuesday afternoon around 5 o'clock and was immediately helped. I requested a gel nail removal and a full acrylic set with gel. The nail lady did do a thorough job with shaping my nails and making sure it was what I wanted. However, I do wish she cleaned up my cuticles properly with a cuticle trimmer vs the nail machine that just shreds them away. It left me with a not super clean look. I probably won't return due to the quality of service and environment, but it was good to get my nails done while running errands. read more

Rush job on gel white tips. Some nails rounded others flat top. Uneven length. Had both mani and pedi a few weeks ago and they were great!! This time only mani and I'm extremely disappointed. Charged 40 bucks for a terrible job. May give them one more chance because the people at the salon are really nice. read more

I went in for a new Gel-X set, and it was a terrible experience from start to finish. Instead of soaking off each nail individually, they had me soak my entire hand in a bowl of acetone. They then used an e-file directly on my natural nails, leaving them extremely thin and brittle. When they trimmed my cuticles, they cut every finger until they were bleeding. I ended the service and left because I was uncomfortable continuing. Despite damaging my nails and making my cuticles bleed, management still charged me. I can't recommend this salon based on my experience. read more

Absolutely terrible job. These are by far the ugliest nails Ive ever had. The shaping, horrible. The application, horrible. They mutilated my cuticles. I had several sore spots and cuts from the drill- it might as well had been a jack hammer. He poured the monomer out of a Pure Leaf sweet tea bottle. None of my nails are the same length or shape. I should have left then. Beware. These people couldn't care less about the health and safety of your skin and nails. Go to someone else. $55 and they all popped off not even a week later. read more

Stay away from this place if you are not white! If you're brown skinned, they will intentionally hurt you multiple times to make sure you don't come back. When I left, I noticed every single pedicure chair was occupied by a white woman. Now that all makes sense. read more

The staff was nice and I will admit I was a little indecisive at first when choosing my services but there is no way they should have turned out this horribly and it ended up costing over $300 which is wild considering I only had a solid gel polish on my toes and a simple ombre French tip on my nails my best friend and I both felt like we had gotten bamboozled. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone else. read more

I've been here twice now. The first time was okay, they didn't what I asked for but this second time I asked for a pedi. She had to file off the gel color that was currently on my toes and as she was doing that I'm pretty sure she made me bleed a little. The water and tower were too hot and at the end, when she was putting the new color on, she layered the glitter color (I only wanted the glitter) onto a very neon pink. Not at all what I wanted. read more

Wonderful staff. Very detailed with shape up and color, great pedicure and manicure!

My go to place for a pedicure in Riverside area. I always schedule with Lyly. She does an excellent job & I don't feel rushed. It makes a difference to schedule vs drop in, though. Keep in mind these women depend on tips, so be as generous as you're able Their stated hours are 10-7 but they are typically ready for clients earlier than that. read more

This was a wonderful experience with my granddaughter! Fantastic pedicures with very kind people!

I had a negative experience at Riverside Nail Salon. My nail tech was on vacation, so I went to a different place. When I arrived, I was not welcomed and was stared at for a few minutes and I felt very uncomfortible. I requested a fill-in and was seated and serviced immediately. However, the lady who worked on my nails was unprofessional and rude. She asked me questions but got frustrated when I didn't understand and yelled at me. I told her I would leave if I wasn't a good fit. The only thing I asked for was a gel polish fill-in. Another staff male member came over and started yelling, saying I should stay because she knew what she was doing.... The salon was unprofessional, and as a licensed nail technician, I find it disgusting that they stored their products in a dip container and an Altoids box. read more

I found this place through a friend maybe six months ago and it has been my go to ever since. I can't tell you how many times I drove by and didn't even notice it was there. They are always friendly and you can usually walk in with no problem. You get to know the people that work there and they are all very nice. They don't mind doing your special requests like for me I want one layer of glitter over the top of my French pedicure. Everything is immaculately clean and they take good pains to keep it that way. When you come in they offer you wine or soda or water. I have made this my go to now. You should check it out. They don't even mind if you hang out after you're done waiting for your friend in one of the massage chairs. You should check them out read more

My pedicure was totally rushed, didn't get a good massage at all. My friend and I had the same package and she got someone that actually made hers worth it and I had maybe 25 minutes of a rushed pedi, that cost me $40 for 40 minutes which is supposed to be an extended massage. Moving onto my nails, I got a dip manicure. The guy rushed doing my nails, never shaped them and I had the most uneven nails I've ever seen in my life. I rarely complain about anything, and my friend spoke up for me so now the guy filed my nails down so thin that the polish came off in spots and he threw a top coat on and called it a day. He told me after he fixed my nails to ask for "thin" nails. I corrected him and told him he never shaped them to begin with, and I wanted shaped nails, not thin. So now they're thin, and will probably break in the next week and I'll have to get them redone. If you'd like to waste $80 bucks at a place be my guest. read more

If I could rate this salon 0 STARS I would, with no hesitation! My sister & I recently got serviced by Ana at Riverside Nails& Spa salon & I will never go back nor recommend this salon to anyone else! I was forced to pay $60 for services I was not at all pleased with. The nails are bulky & wide, i expressed this concern throughout the entire process and the lady seemed to not quite understand & kept laughing and making jokes with her coworker the entire time. At the end of the service I again told her I didn't like the way they looked and asked if she could file them down & make the nails more even & symmetrical, she refused saying i'd have to pay more for extra service since she was finished although I expressed my concern through the entire process. My sister's toes were done incorrectly as well, which is visible in the picture below. The service all in all was extremely unpleasant. The customer service, integrity, quality & respect for customers was horrendous!! I do not recommend booking here, at all! read more

Worse pedicure and service I've ever had. Being a former nail technician I know what to look for. Nail board, buffer, and all utensils used were not sanitized. Did not use cuticle oil or remover. Do not come here. Terrible. Gel manicure started coming off TWO DAYS after I got it. Come back to the shop to get it fixed, fine. Only customer in the shop. Then a group of 8 people walk in and the workers proceed to help them and ask me to wait to be helped. Zero professionalism or sense of urgency. Like so many of these nail salons.... CHEAP product, shoddy work, and overpriced. Won't be returning. Don't waste your precious time or money. read more
