The owner Suki over trimmed my dead skin and made me bleed!
Jing Y.

This place was recommended to me by a friend and I regret coming to this place SO MUCH! The owner Suki over trimmed my dead skin and made my finger bleed. After she ripped off my skin, I had told her to be gentle because it hurts but she still managed to cut my skin even more causing it to bleed. We stopped briefly when my thumb was bleeding and I told her to be gentle for the second time.. then she proceed to file my nail further with the nail drill and causing me to bleed again. I immediately told her that you are hurting me then she apologize and said "don't worry, it happens". What bothers me the most was that Suki proceeded to put the nail polish over my dried blood. I felt like the entire time she was rushing me because she had mistakenly scheduled two people for the same time slot. Another customer came in shortly after when I was getting my nails done. The customer had her lashes done at this place the day before and she wanted the lashes to be removed because it was hurting her. The owner Suki refused to apologize or give the customer a refund and Suki simply said "your lashes look fine and I do that to every customer". Then they finally come to an agreement and asked the customer to go to the back and wait for a nail tech. While the customer was in the back waiting for help, Suki and the other nail techs were talking trash about the customer in Cantonese and Fuzhou Dialect (I know because I speak both dialects). The whole situation made me feel really uncomfortable. Ladies- please stay away from this place and don't waste your money here!

The best Asian nail trends I've ever seen is here. They use only Japanese base products (as base coat for your nail) for best and longest last adhesion so it doesn't lift and you can keep your nails for 3 weeks. I did extensive google, Yelp, and Instagram research before finding this place. This was by far the best talent I've seen anywhere in Atlanta. They have OPI products but just to be sure, ask for the Japanese stuff! They also have tons of gems, micro/glitter, rub on chrome and aurora powders, stickers etc. It's easiest to contact on IG if you have a design in mind. More than likely they can do it for you. EXPECTATION- you are not coming here for an elegant spa like experience. It is going to be loud and your typical Asian nail place. You come here because you want the best and longest last nails. PARKING- free parking right in front of the place. PRICING- when I come in for mani for polygel or full gel tip extensions with design on 6 nails total without gel, price is typically around 60-70$ which I think is great, considering it lasts 3 weeks. I've gotten similar Japanese product nails in LA for more than that! I typically get my nails done with Suki.

Parking available right by the store. It was my first time going there. My friend and I had an appointment, however I still waited over 40mins. They were very apologetic and did offer for me to relax in the massage chair while waiting. It wasn't too bad since I had someone to talk with to pass the time. When we went it there were 3 ladies working. It was kind of busy and I could tell they did not want to rush and end up doing a bad job. If you speak mandarin or Cantonese you will have an easier time here. But the workers do speak English as well. I would recommend coming with a picture of the design you want. Overall I am happy with my nails. I just did a manicure this time and it took about an hour for them to do it. Originally I wanted the floral design to be painted, but due to time, I agreed to use stickers instead. Total was $45. If they paint the floral designs, it will be more expensive. My friend had a pedicure and manicure, singular color and the total was $67. I believe they also do eyebrows as well.

amazing!!! i love suki and zoe!! they both are the nail techs i always request! nail gallery specializes in japanese gel-x nails, which is way healthier than your typical acrylic nails, and with fill ins you can go 3 months without getting a new set! i've tried many salons over the years, but I 100% recommend this business, i always look forward to my appointments here

texts from employee and manager. Manager took over five hours simply to tell me not to come back to their shop.

Edit: To respond to Cheung's reply to my comment (weird that she only replied to mine out of ALL the 1 star reviews they've gotten but this just confirms my original complaints of being profiled and review of this place). Firstly I've only been here twice, and something went wrong both times. I complained about my nails immediately after on BOTH occasions and was told it was too late (we were only a few nails in) on BOTH occasions. Not wanting to cause any issues I simply said "OK". Now, since you mentioned my first visit, that time was not even an issue of design but the fact that the nail tech didn't turn on the gel lamp until HALF WAY into getting my nails done even though I mentioned it to her several times. My nails literally felt like they were burning off. She chose to ignore, was pulling and grabbing my hands harshly and was so rude to me. I didn't even mention my first experience fully in the original review because I wanted to be nice. I will never make the mistake of being too nice again. If you're questioning my intentions it must be because of my color because I have done nothing of sorts for you to think this way. It's your preconceived notions towards people my race. With this being said, hopefully you can use this opportunity to reflect on your outlook and mindset towards people my color. Thank you and have a good day. Original review: DO NOT come here if you are not asian, you will regret it I promise you. But funny thing is plenty of these 1 star reviews these people have gotten are from asians--so maybe don't come here at all?? But let's get into it! I wish i could give this place 0 stars. This is the worst nail experience I've had in Suwanee and I've lived here for over 20 years. The manager and workers racially profiled me on several occasions. They will stare at you like a disease as you walk in. The owner will greet everyone but you (unless your chinese). They will act confused even if you spoke with one of their employees beforehand and booked an apppintment. If something goes wrong they will blame it on the "language barrier". I have been nothing but nice to these workers but today I was refused service and told to never come back to their store because I wanted to come back and get my nails redone. The manager told me the workers were "scared" of me. When I asked her what she meant she couldn't provide me an answer. She refused service and didn't want to provide a reason why. I've always tipped 20% and been respectful to everyone in the shop. I've been to this shop twice and each time has been terrible- I wanted to give these people a second chance and I truly regret it. Pictured is the picture of what I wanted and what I got. It's giving grandma. The ugliest nails I've ever gotten in my life, extremely outdated and they charged me $125 for these! I could've gotten this at any random nail shop for less than $50 bffr. I will be discouraging all my friends from visiting this place and I don't recommend this place to ANYONE. Find a cheaper and more relaxing place that will treat each customer with respect regardless of their ethnicity. Good luck to the owner and their business, the shop is a ghost town and for a good reason too. Lastly, owner, I bet you thought I wouldn't write this review and you're probably regretting treating me so badly, hopefully you'll treat your next customer with respect regardless of their skin color!! Good luck to you again!

First time came to nail gallery, where is 30 miles far away of my house. But it worth the time cost and highly recommend to some of you who are looking for Japanese nails service. No complicated appointment policy at an affordable price. The attached photo was shot by iPhone X with the original camera (no filter at all). I can't even tell how beautiful my nails are. So cute!! Thank you, Suki!

Great massage & beautiful nails I was amazed when I saw the price ... These all added tgt were below $60 -- even lower than where I was from (Taiwan)! Love it

Actually like wtf.... I go for a fill and there was paint stuck in between my real nail and the tip so she said she would remove it but she continued to get the electric file and file down my real nail.... So now my real nail on my ring finger is short and to the skin and the sides of the nail and pointy... why do you think that is okay to do like NEVER FILE DOWN SOMEONES REAL NAIL LIKE THAT! I told the lady to stop that it's okay once I realized that was happening to my nail yet she said no No i have to and yanked my hand towards her.... that fucking audacity I'm never coming back You can clearly see the length of my ring finger and index finger nail...

Was in Duluth area so tried this place out. It's next to Poetree cafe. I guess I should have read the reviews and asked for Suki. Overall, the lady did my nails did a good job, A for effort, could tell she wasn't that great with nail art. I had brought in a pic that was posted for this location and wanted the exact look minus changing one of the colors. Pretty easy but whatever it is, whether they have their own nail jewels, the lady didn't have the same type of jewels and had to improvise. Overall, it was okay but I guess was slightly disappointed, especially since it turned out to be more gypsy style than glam/bling style I wanted. Also, I've never had anyone paint/smother my whole nail with glue that it reeked with glue smell, not to mention her gel nail machine didn't work properly and even burned my finger tips for a sec... I guess with the amount of jewels, price was fitting but thought it was a bit much for this area. What makes me little more flustered is my pedicure... One of the main point of getting pedicure is so that you don't get an in grown but I've been walking 10miles per day the last 3 days and in pain cuz of my nails... I can see why people go here but at the same time I can't stand it when nail places have poor cleanliness. I'm pretty positive that the nail tools used weren't freshly cleaned ones and I don't want to think beyond that.

beware!! I had an appointment with Suki the owner. throughout my appointment she kept taking calls and scheduling people. While prepping my nails for fake nails, she managed to make 4 of my nails bleed. My left ring fingernail bled for the entire session. Instead of waiting for it to stop bleeding, she kept pouring rubbing alcohol on it which BURNED. When the next customer came in, she started rushing through the line art, so all the lines are so uneven and ugly. After I paid $110+tip and went outside, I realized that there was a DENT in my nail and the glue around the rhinestones was so prominent. I went back in to get the dent fixed. Suki was working on the next customer, so she looked at my nail and pretended that she didn't see a dent. She only put on another layer of top coat after I asked twice. I offered to wait until the current customer was finished, but she refused and quickly put on the top coat made me hold the hand held lamp on my own nail while I was standing in front of the customer. I guess she didn't want the other customer to know that she messed up.

I am so in love! Suki really took her time and made my Pinterest nails come to life. I cannot stop looking at them

Suki was very nice and friendly throughout the process! My nails came out pretty similar to the design I asked for. However, Suki suggested that I put the gold stripe on my thumb instead of my index finger since my index finger nail is short. I think this made the design look better on my nails. One thing I was a little disappointed about is the ring finger. In the picture of the design I asked for, it looks more gold, but on my nails she used a more silver color. But nonetheless, I'm still happy with how it came out for the most part. I filed a couple of nails at home, because it looked a little slanted (which wasn't really a big deal for me). Appointments are very easy to make through Instagram. They address any questions you have and will also give you a price estimate for a design you send them. I highly recommend this place to you guys as the price is cheap and they do a decent job(:

Greeting, Upon…read morearrival, I was welcomed into a quaint salon that was very cleanly and simplistic with perfect pops of color here and there. The nail technicians seemed focused and resilient, adding an interesting contrast to the Bubbly Lounge-Esque music/vibe of the music and decorations. One of the techs hollered at me to "Habbasee!!" While my brain did not know this tongue, my body felt beckoned by this call from could only be the Wild. I traveled as if dancing to a forgotten rhythm or smelling a freshly baked cartoon pie to the back hallway of the Parlor, where I meandered past an impressive infant I saw filing nails to the cuticle with bone-chilling precision (keep up the good work, Lily...) Once I arrived to the back of the Parlor, I was faced with a fork (in the hallway, not a utensil) and a fork in the hallway (utensil). One room was the bathroom (which was very clean and smelled of palm) and the other was another story... A woman, fifty-three (53 if you round to the nearest multiple of 53 and 1 [one], therefore fifty-three [53] being the only answer to the woman's age as she was NOT one [1] year old) was spread eagle with an old woman and a lone wax strip. As the woman YELPED ;) (ba-dum-shh [facetious bongo]) I was taken aback and flinched, until I realized the services being performed on her were far from simple manicures. TOGETHER is an understatement for my participation in this lady's Brazilian. Might as well call it a South American! The only legal/safety concern that transcended my immersive experience here was the health risk of the frail old woman who was doing the single-strip-waxing, I thought to myself: "There must be some form of tomb-raiding experience/certification needed to confront the absolute amazon of vines and foliage that the lady being waxed was auto-chemo-respirating downstairs..." After completion, I was allowed to skip the wait thanks to my back-room assistance and was given a chair. I came with the intention asked for a duck nail, as my younger sister ,Lisa Curwaden, had just gotten festive green, red, yellow, and white duck nails (her pinky nail on her right hand was too small to paint due to an incident with her Shih Tzu, so she doesn't paint the regular sized nail on her left pinky either in order to keep her internal Chi balanced) and I found them quite humble and perfect for the upcoming Yom Kippur season. But right as the words "duck nail" left my licker, the lights completely turned off in the salon save for a few red LED strips taped to the back of Lily's bald head (she hadn't begun to grow hair yet due to her age) resembling luxurious native scarlet locks. The technicians each pulled out weapons that seemed to be central to their chosen workplace personas and began screaming "GEDDDAAAOOO" at me until my hearing aids that already needed battery replacements forced me to take a step outside for some fresh ATL air. I smoked three packs of Smarties and attempted to reenter the salon, only to find the lights still off and the door locked. Overall, a very swell and educational experience that I will cherish for the next few days. Thank you, South America.

I've found Mike to have such a positive and thoughtful presence. Not only does he have a good eye for attention to detail and an ability to do good work quickly, but he doesn't hesitate to give me advice when I'm undecided! These 2 recent images are from my visit yesterday, where I got a Short GelX Almond Cat-eye from Mike while my grandfather received the $50 level pedicure from Selina. He is definitely a character. Very nervous 80+ year old Spanish-speaking man that doesn't trust people, but Selina was kind, patient, and way nicer than she needed to be. This is his second time getting a maintenance trim since he can no longer do it himself and he always leaves feeling like we were treated like royalty! The front attendant V got us comfortably seated immediately and the complimentary drinks/ seasonal candy are always a nice touch. I had some delicious hot tea & even got some cute photos showing off my new nails :) Btw the small cuts on my fingers are from my personal bad habit of pulling and ripping my cuticles. I find getting nails helps me when it's at my worst as I can no longer pick at my skin or nails! Mike was very careful to ensure I wasn't in any pain & completely changed the way I felt about my hands. I hope this set lasts a while! My previous pink coffin set from last year lasted almost full 3 weeks I believe (lots of washing and manual labor as a server). I'm hoping these last the same if not longer now that I work from home! I was also informed that owners changed, as the previous manager bought out the place... sad to see some friends go but I love the change in decor and overall space feels elevated in quality. Congrats to the team! Happy holidays & I hope to return for the grand reopening.
