I have been going here off and on for some years now. I went in yesterday with my friend to get a full set and fill in. I let them know specifically what I wanted down to the shape and design. The lady I had Jenny was frustrated when I asked for what I wanted and not what she thought would look best. I will post a picture of when I get them done vs what I wanted. I left the salon very un happy and was just gonna wait and see if my nails would wear off on me. Later lastnight I called and asked if I could come in and get them fixed the shape was awful, they were bumpy, and my design was terrible. I came in today and they laughed and refused to fix for free after I spoke to them lastnight and schedule an apt for today. I went to Nail bar across the street my friend had to get another fill because of how high up they did her nails on top of her gel polish already peeling off.... Moral of the story rude, don't do a good job, and will not do what you ask. I will never be going back. read more

Cut my foot during a pedicure which took several months to heal. Nice at first, then rude to regular clients. Do not recommend. Zero stars!

I was trying to find a place to get my nails done for graduation and didn't realize a lot of places were booked due to the local high schools prom! I was able to call here and get an appointment for the same day which was great! They were expecting me when I got there so I didn't have to wait. I showed a picture of the nails I wanted that I had found on their Instagram page. The nail tech was nice and I told her I wanted to come back for a fill at a later date so she chose to do gel over my acrylic full set. This added about $30 to the $55 full set acrylic. It took about an hour and a half for her to finish the design but she was carefully hand painting the white so I understand. Overall, I had a good experience! The nail tech asked me at each point along the way if I was happy with the length, shape, and design. My only regret is that I did the gel, as it chipped eventually (after about two weeks) and I actually never went back for the fill. Two weeks was really all I needed though and I got tons of compliments on them! read more

I've been going back and forth between gel and SNS for years. I saw Lynn at Nail Envogue today, and I told her that gel wasn't structured enough for my natural nails when they're long, but SNS is too brittle. She took the time to explain the options to me. I chose builder gel, almond shape. Lynn worked quickly, but it was the most perfect application and shape I have maybe ever had! My nails look so good and feel strong! read more

My husband and I got pedicures and I got my nails done here yesterday. We paid $75 each for the spa pedicure, she put lotion on my his ands feet put towels around them and left to do someone's nails. His total pedicure time was 15 min. I had a nail fill in and paint and was charged $55 for sore hands!! She cut most of my fingers to the point of soreness and the paint peeled this morning. Yesterday when o washed and dried my hands one of my nails peeled before I got out the door. I will NEVER go back here for nails. I got dip powder on my nails just before vacation in a light pink, and throughout the week I noticed they turned yellow. I looked it up and apparently with low quality SNS top coat, UV rays turn it yellow. I went back in as soon as I got home and asked to have it fixed. They were reluctant but agreed to "try". The man who began to fix it asked if I had gotten my nails done there but he didn't seem to believe me. He grinded off the top coat and replaced it with gel, then left me covered in dust and said that's $10. Kind of ridiculous since they still looked a little yellow, and I already paid $112 the week before for that and a pedicure that chipped in 4 places. This used to be a salon I frequented with my mom in HS but I won't be back. The Nail Shop and Lavish are much better. I give 2 stars for how nice the first girl was that originally did my nails. read more

I have been coming to this establishment since moving to Kentucky three years ago and has absolutely loved the service and the technicians. Today I have to say how disappointed I was to have a technician working on me as if she was on an assembly line. Her work was quick and sloppy. And for the price that you pay here the work should be up to par. Two nails looked terrible unfortunately I did not have time to have her redo them. I will chalk it up to a one time bad experience. I walked in there at 5:30 knowing I had a 7:30 dinner reservations.I signed in and then had to wait 30 minutes even though there were nail techs sitting at there stations sitting on there phones and buy the time I got seated it was 6:15 and they didn't let me pick a water temperature so it was freezing cold and my feet are very irritated then I'm getting my clear gel nails and it's terrible service and there is still dirt in my nails and my friend got acrylics and did the wrong shape and color and it's very red and numb around my nail and they cut my nail and it also hurts and on top of that they charged us $226 for clear gel and acrylic also they added a tip for themselves when I clearly said no do not come here!!! And there were little kids running around the store being very reckless and touching everything and making a lot of noise and being obnoxious again don't come here!!! read more

This place is great! I got a mani and pedi. Definitely on the more expensive range but you pay for what you get! They do take their time to make sure everything looks great. I was there for 2 hours! Nothing to complain about though other than that. Everything was really clean and you can tell this place is good because it was really busy! Would recommend! read more

I visited Lexington for a wedding recently and I wanted to get my nails done. It had been several years since I lived here so I chose Nail Envogue based on reviews. I got the gel French manicure and a pedicure. I was very impressed with my nail tech, Jack. He took his time with me and tested out all the pink powder colors so I could chose the best one for me. Normally, nail techs will chose what they think, so to take the time and allow me to chose was next level for me. My nails turned out great and they lasted a very long time! I have gone to very high end nail salons where I live in Raleigh, NC and my nails looked so much better here! I will definitely be back to Nail Envogue when I return to Lexington! I hate to have to post a negative review for a business but unfortunately this business does not value its customers or their happiness with their product. Yesterday my daughter and I went to both get gel pedicures, a gel manicure for me and a full set and SNS manicure for her. This was a big day, her Junior prom. We were not sitting together but I checked and asked her if she told the Tom, her nail technician, the length she wanted. She assured me she had. This is important because she is a lacrosse player and is in district playoffs right now so her nails can not be too long or she can't hold her stick and play. . When I went over after I was done, I told him they were too long and asked if he could cut them and file them, he said no, it wouldn't look good and refused. I said we have to leave and HE REACHED for the $20 bill in my hand, which I was debating on giving him as a tip after seeing her nails. For lack of time to argue, I handed it to him and left! We had already been there 2 hours (we had an appointment at 1:00)! When we got in the car she started crying. She said he did not cut them where she told him and he made her uncomfortable. When we got home I called and they wanted us to come back, so they could cut them and file them, something that was refused to us when we were there. We were running late and her date was on the way to get her! I CUT THEM DOWN AND FILED THEM MYSELF!! They gave me the manager, Lynn's number, which was the wrong number, and told me to send pictures, which I did. After no response I went by this afternoon. I wanted a refund, not the $211 I paid for all of our services, just the amount for her nails. I was told that she must have asked for long nails because they don't like doing long nails and when she came she had long white nails. Apparently they believe in blaming the customer.She did have white nails but they weren't long like the ones Tom gave her, because again she is a varsity lacrosse player. I was told by Lynn, she would give me a partial credit for her nails to come back and get them fixed. Not even a full credit to get a new manicure. This was our first time there , our regular places were booked, and we will not be back. Another amazing visit yesterday!! I come every 3 weeks to get a fill in. I always get the same nail tech because she has been doing my nails since I decided to grow them out (yes these or my actual nails just with acrylic on top to keep them from breaking). I tried something different from my usual glossy finish...the matte finish. I am completely in love with my black matte black nails. My nail tech always does such a great job she takes her time and she knows that every 3 weeks we do a color change. She also does my feet as well because my feet have to match my nails. Its going to be bitter sweet when I move to Atlanta and have to find someone to replace my Lena. read more

I just had a terrible experience here with "John". I only know his name because I tried to start a conversation AFTER he pissed me off while doing the color change on my toenails. I should've known something was wrong when there were so few customers on a Saturday afternoon. I was greeted by a friendly female who told me to pick my color-I chose SNS for my nails and gel color for my toes (I've found it stays longer than regular color and doesn't chip). She told me to take a seat in front of "John" who asked me about my colors (again). He asked me AGAIN if I wanted gel on my toes (yes) and sorta smirked/laughed when I told him yes. He started removing the old SNS and got up and walked to the pedicure chairs. I followed. He asked me if I wanted a pedicure (I had no time for one) and I told him no. He removed the old polish and got up, spoke to another worker and sat back down and said, "You need to wash your feet!" I looked at him, puzzled, and looked at the bottom of my feet. He walked away again and came back and I explained to him that my sandals are new and leather and that they stain my feet slightly. He continued to work on my toes, cutting the nails crookedly and not even cleaning the edges. He finished this task and I walked with him back to his station and he began the SNS. Halfway in, I asked him to please put 3 coats of the SNS, otherwise I break them due to my typing speed and strength. He got angry and said the top coat was the third coat. I insisted that it's what works for my situation and that I didn't want to come in next week to have to fix a broken nail. He flat out just didn't do it. He continued with the top coat and that was it. He told me to wash my hands and when I returned he asked for payment-$65 without tip. And he got $65 dollars, without tip. Zero conversation, save the "have to" talking and incredibly rude in addition! I was LIVID. Firstly, the customer service SUCKS. I don't mean lacking in social grace-I mean ABSOLUTELY rude and belligerent. Do not spend your money here. There's a REASON they are rated so low. read more

Waited until 6:50 when I heard a discussion behind the counter of taking a couple of parties that had multiple services that had appointments later than mine After they took those people back, I walked out. I took my daughters with me to get my nails done. My adoptive daughter is 6 and my biological daughter is 11. The lady doing my nails asked me if the girl sitting in the other chair was my daughter, I told her they both were. She pointed to my daughter that looks like me. I again told her they both were. This went on for 4 TIMES. After the 4th time she informed me that the other daughter doesn't look like me. That was unbelievable to me. Then my 6 year old bumped the table and they told my 11 year to leave her at home next time. She then begin to laugh with the other works and point at us. My nails came off before the week was done. Amazing salon!!!!! Hadn't ever had my nails done here before. When I went in today to try it out I was informed my previous salon was using cheap acrylic and there was actually mold growing between my real nail and the acrylic. They were happy to remove my previous acrylic nails and start over, all while explaining why my previous salon was putting me at high risk for infection. After less than 24 hours from getting a FRENCH MANICURE from this place the top coat that was used turned purple. No it's not dye or from my jeans or anything else. I hate to type this out but I was really un-impressed with this place. The staff members were really nice and the place seemed clean but I wasn't pleased with the services. I got a gel polish and my polish was peeling within less than a week. Typically, when I get gel it lasts around 2 weeks and I don't have a problem with chipping or peeling. It's interesting because I was at another place before this one and then after this one (I've been getting my nails done a lot lately!!) and both of the places before and after lasted right at 2 weeks. I went there with several friends and all of us had poor service. I have been here several times And recommended it to my friends and am embarrassed at how poor the service was. #1 one of the nail techs repeatedly asked my friend out on a date and made her unbelievably uncomfortable during her entire service. We were there to relax and enjoy and the massages were poor. The constant asking my friend on a date was very unprofessional. #2 we all got shellac manicures which only lasted several days before they all peeled off for all of us. The nail techs kept trying to sell SNS manicures saying they last longer. I have never had a shellac manicure last less than two weeks and we think they did not Bond to the nails which caused them to peel off. We will not be back. read more

Used to be the best in town but not anymore. I prefer to do my own nails but didn't have time. The manicure I received was terrible. I have polish on my cuticles and the top coat doesn't even cover the whole nail, plus chipping after one day. I can normally go two weeks between manicures.
