Got overcharged for SNS. I took my daughter in and she had nothing on her nails, but we got dinged for removal anyway. They tried to say it was because she needed tips. Tips are $7? They said SNS without tips is $31. I kept explaining to the woman checking us out that we didn't have removal. She didn't get it. I wanted to get out of there so I paid anyway. Also, my daughter has been working on growing her nails out (she's a nail biter) and only needed two tips. The tech cut down her natural nails and put tips on all of them. What a great experience! My appearance is important to me but particularly because a work for a major beauty brand. I have been trying different salons are my work and residence and found Hammond Nails of Alpharetta, which I really like, but my go-to tech there has changed her schedule. I found Nail Eagle on Yelp and gave them a shot. Fantastic customer service and nails from Nancy, she's super sweet and talented. The salon is beautifully designed and clean. The prices are a little high, but that should be expected given the location. I came in for a soak-off and full set with gel polish and a pedicure. My nails looked amazing, but my pedi was just ok. Finally! A nail salon where I'm not immediately confused as to which nail technician, sitting at their station with a surgical mask over their mouth, says hello to me first and asks "May I help you?" I just don't like walking into a salon and looking around at the various nail techs waiting for someone to speak, and then when the voice appears, not knowing who spoke. Naturally, when I walked into Nail Eagle and saw a guest coordinator standing at the front desk, I was thrilled! The coordinator writes down the service you request, asks you to pick your color and have a seat, then goes and prepares a station for you. Then, throughout your visit, she follows up with each customer and nail tech, carefully balancing and doling out nail assignments. I loved it! Each nail tech I've had here has done a wonderful job. I like that they give longer leg massages than other places I've visited. Also, I like that my pedicure from Nail Eagle lasts longer than most pedicures I've had. With a Nail Eagle pedicure, I can easily go three to four weeks before any chipping occurs. The interior is new and spa-like, not cheesy, average nail salon decor. And the massage chairs are the most comprehensive I've ever experienced. Be careful to check if the seat massage is turned on, because if it is, you might be in for a surprise! Just sayin'! the service is decent but customer service is AWFUL, which is the reason I won't be coming back, and I've given it a few tries. My first experience should've already been a red flag considering my nail tech did not say ONE WORD to me at all throughout the service, but I decided to give it another try, and same deal, they wouldn't have the decency to simply ask "how are you today?" Or try to make any conversation at all. My third visit was a bit better but she filed my nails all crooked and they looked awful, so that was also a fail. So I tried it AGAIN this past weekend, I walked in and said I needed a regular manicure and the receptionist told me he was going to see if they had time, and he disappeared for a good 5 minutes and came back to tell me I wouldn't be able to be seen for the next 50 minutes... very inconvenient, he could've said it from the get go instead of making me wait there at the front desk. After moving to Roswell, I've had to search for a new place to get my spring/summer pedicures. I decided to give Nail Eagle a shot (have yet to figure out the significance of the Eagle) on a slow Wednesday afternoon. While the staff was friendly enough, I was told several times that I needed to make an appointment in the future. I would agree if I were the type to walk in on a Saturday afternoon, but this place wasn't that busy. My nail tech was polite and did an ok job. My previous nail place did a much better job at removing dead skin around my nail bed. I noticed missed spots the next day. This is the cleanest and most elegant nail salon I've ever been to! From the decor, staff & services, I can see that this is a salon has a lot more to offer than the typical salon. The staff is super friendly and professional, unlike most nail salons I've been to where they are talking about you and you don't understand what they saying unless you know Vietnamese! I really wanted to like this nail salon as it is in my neighborhood. The man at the front counter is very nice. My appointment for a mani/pedi was with Lisa. She is quiet, which is fine by me. I really like the pedicure portion more than the manicure. I had a bubble on one of my nails that I pointed out to her. She fixed it, but I can see where the indenture is as she didn't redo the nail. So sad! I have been a costumer for years. But since they became popular their business has gone down hill. Yes, the decor, chairs and drinks are nice, but the service is no longer good. They have stopped using the disposable stones (which were awesome) and the techs are not that good anymore. Lots of the good ones have left, now they are either too gentle or too rough and I have ended up with a bloody toe the last 3 times I've been there. Last but not least, their prices went up on 1-1-2013 and I found out when I had to pay the bill,(basic mani/pedi $39), no warning + tip. I travel 30+ minutes to get to my trusted team over at Nail Eagle because you can't just trust the nail salon next door. I have tried every one in my area, and some are alright, but none compare to the staff, products and results I get on my nails here. Philip is my favorite - he does exquisite manicures that are detailed and creative, as as well as pedicures with outstanding massages. I am high maintenance in that I like a manicure WITH my full set, (with some sort of wacky design AND pedi) and they are always happy to accommodate as long as you let them know; I always make an appointment - their business seems to run more off schedule than walk-ins, so that makes it easier for everyone (I have never had a problem with communication here either) Nancy and Henry are wonderful, and so are the rest of the crew. the environment is spa-like and is very clean and new looking. the pricing is surprisingly affordable. i have found MY nail salon. read more

This nail salon is super clean which is the first important thing. It's a very relaxing atmosphere or was when I was there, no tvs on any talk shows which I prefer. The staff was pretty friendly, although my nail tech didn't really talk much and was actually the only one I didn't get a nice vibe from. However, she did do a cute little snow flake for me and did smile when I tipped her. This salon probably has the most gel colors I've seen to pick from and are all organized by specific shades which is awesome. Not impressed. I went to Nail Eagle for the first time today and I probably won't be back. I went in to get SNS nails. I usually get acrylics at a different salon but I decided to try SNS at Nail Eagle since they were nearby and my nails weren't looking too pretty. The lady doing my nails put the nail tips on crooked, cut them different lengths, and then buffed the nails unevenly after doing the powder. I didn't notice any of this until I got home so I had to drive back to the salon to have them fix it. A different person helped me and was able to fix my nails for the most part; he didn't get all the dust off my nails from when he was filing before he put the top coat on so now there are little tidbits of nail shavings on my nails. After this, I think I'll stick to my normal salon and acrylics for now on. read more

I never complain about local businesses so excuse my rant! I'm am so upset and disheartened with Nail Eagle that I just can't let it go. My mom and I have been very loyal customers there for 8 years! We go religiously every 2 weeks for manicures and pedicures and bring my daughters occasionally too. I also recommend them to everyone! We took my girls there for their 7th bday last week. They put both girls in broken chairs so they couldn't use the massage function. After 15 minutes they got them to work. My one daughter waited 40 minutes for someone to work on her. We were all over half way done by the time they started on my 2nd daughter. I asked a few times was someone coming to start her or can my person starts on her And I can wait as she is 7 but we I was never rude and never raised my voice. I called today to make our next appointments (loyalty) and the owner told me nobody wanted to work on us anymore. Only 2 people in the entire salon will do our nails. Are you kidding me?? 8 years, every other week and because you made my 7 year old wait 40 min you won't do our nails? Ok we will take our $200 every other week elsewhere! Clearly you don't need our business any longer so upset and frustrated with them - I hate to leave bad feedback but this was just terrible customer service. read more
