I just went to this place for the first (and last time). I called for an appointment a few hours ahead and arrived 5mins late (parking in the area is tough!). I walked in and the lady looked at me like I had insulted her first child. She didn't see my name on the list but told me to go ahead and pick out my colors. I overheard the other lady tell her in Spanish that I didn't have an appointment (I'm clearly Hispanic and you could've asked me directly). The one lady finally did ask me and I explained that I had called earlier to which my lady says yea she had the 5pm appointment but arrived at 5:15. I nicely corrected her and she went off on a rant about how I def arrived late and that they work in a strict schedule. (It's a mani/pedi not surgery, calmate). Mind you, the white woman who also had a 5pm appointment arrived at 5:20, but she didn't get scolded. To top things off I asked her to use the foot scraper tool (don't know what it's called) a little more on my one foot that has a bad callus and she scolded me again and had the audacity to say to me, I do it my way and if you don't like it, that's on you. Really? That's how you speak to your customers? I hate to say this but it almost felt like had I been white I would've gotten treated better which is ridiculous because they're all Hispanic!!! At that point my relaxing mani/pedi treatment was ruined. I still did the classy thing and tipped her but she definitely didn't deserve it. Needless to say, I'm never cheating on my regular mani/pedi stylist who was sick today and the only reason why I tried a new place. Oh and as my nails were drying the manager and my lady start arguing about billing issues which to me is totally unprofessional to do in front of clients. I will NEVER go back to this place and will make sure none of my gfs do either. I hope they read these reviews - sabe que, usted fue un poco grosera y asi no se tratan a las personas. Ya. read more
