I want to start off by saying that I get my nails done often and this was the worst experience I have ever had. I had really high hopes for this place. I made an appointment with Paul because I heard he did the best shape and had the best customer service. I came in with my own gel - a DND gel I really love. Paul sat down and began adding tips for acrylic nails. He didn't say a word to me. I asked him how his day was going and he responded, "Fine, I woke up." When he asked for the length I went to show him a photo of exactly what I wanted. He said, "I don't need a picture - just tell me." Then he added the acrylic powder and when we got to the shaping portion he asked what I wanted again. So I went to show him the photo of exactly what I wanted (which most nail techs appreciate). He condescendingly said to me, "Do you ever even get your nails done? I don't need a picture." So at that point I'm so upset and frustrated at how rude he's being I just let him do his thing. Then he starts painting my nails with the gel and keeps saying "This bad. Keeps dripping" and puts my nails in front of a fan. I'm nervous to speak up at this point because he's been so rude. This goes on for a few more minutes and finally I ask if he has a UV light. He had no idea what I brought in was gel. He thought it was regular polish. The rest of the appointment he tells me how bad the gel is and how I should use his gel. At the end he doesn't even put cuticle oil on or give me any lotion, let alone a hand massage. I ask for some lotion and he squirts 1 pump in my hands. This was THE WORST nail appointment experience of my life. Paul was the rudest nail tech I have ever had in my life. I later found out he's the owner!!!!! How in the world as an owner would you treat a client like this? I will never return back to Nail Bar again and advise you to stay away. read more
