I went here with my friend and I payed $50 plus tip to get a gel set with a simple design on two nails. At first I was very happy with the service, but within two days I could tell that one of the nails was not cured all the way through. It started to lift off my nail and get a bubble. The bubble then popped, and I could see wet gel polish underneath. For those of you that do not know this, this is VERY dangerous! It can cause your body to develop an allergy to gel polish and destroy your nails. I went back later that day to show them the issue, and they told me they would fix it. I expected them to take off the polish that was there, clean up the wet gel polish, and redo the nail. Instead, she just painted over the bubble, adding more wet gel into the hole and making a huge bump on my nail. When I get home I ended up just taking the whole nail off. And as I expected, there was wet gel underneath. I am so disappointed since I thought that this would be my next go to place, but I put my nail health over a good deal any day. read more

This may be my new nail salon in the area.. well for now. I called and was able to easily get a same day appointment. They also have an offer of 10% off services. There were a few things I liked about this place: 1. The use a pedicure bath liner and open up new tools for each customer 2. They don't use new pumice stones, but after asking for a new one.. they were able to get me one which was awesome. I like this because I am all about nail salons that put cleanliness first 3. They use hot stones and parrifin wax I choose a blue color and initially, it turned out not great and they redid it with no questions asked. My toes turned out looking nice! The salon was very quiet when I was in for services, which I liked. Everyone was friendly and they offered water when I sat down. Their service prices are similar to h2o nails down the street, but I am much happier with the job this salon did. No one made me feel bad if I tipped on a card or in cash, my service was not rushed and they paid attention to detail. With the discount, they have even better prices as well. My friend and I came in for peddies, on a cold Friday evening. We were wrapping up approaching closing time. Instead of rushing around to leave, everyone there made sure we were well cared for. We got fresh tea, extra shoulder rubs, and they didn't let us walk out in flip flops -- we had time to dry. The prices are correct. The foot soaks all have cider vinegar mixed in the water, so healthy. And its the only place around that gives you the wax treatment on your hands (makes my arthritis feel better), and for the heels of your feet (makes my heels 27 years old again). Tonight i went to nail art bar an hour to their closing time and i was greeted SO warmly by all the staff the second i walked in. My nails were in an embarrassing shape. I hate leaving bad reviews & I really wanted to love this place but this has to be the worst nail experience i've ever had. I went in on a Monday to get a gel fill and a pedicure. As of waking up on Tuesday my pedicure had already chipped, but oh well no big deal. On Wednesday one of my nails started peeling and popping off. Upon examination I noticed almost every one of my new nails was popping off. I woke up this morning (Thursday) to one broken nail and 6 nails peeling so bad they need to be removed. I called the salon asking for a refund as I do not want to return to get my nails "fixed" by a place that screwed up this bad the first time. The lady on the phone who I assume is the owner refused to give me any money back as "it's a business and no businesses give money back." Which isn't a true statement. I ended up hanging up feeling distraught over the whole thing because now I'm out $115 (so expensive for a gel fill & regular pedicure, no?) and have to spend more money at another salon to get it fixed. I read reviews before coming here and just ignored the bad ones because they were older and so few and far between but I should have listened. Horrible customer service and the skills here are lacking as well. I will not be returning. read more

I never write bad reviews about ANYWHERE, but this was ridiculous. First time there horrible experience. Was there for my birthday, and it was a nightmare. Not following covid guidelines, sat someone directly next to me, tried to move directly from me to her and back to me without washing hands (never had anyone simultaneously work on me and another person before either). Nails were rushed, uneven, polish was done half assed. The polish chipped and one nail broke after two days. Had an unexperienced tech paint a matte top coat wrong (she had to be shown how to apply the polish!!!) and was left with the nails looking discolored... Went back for refund, because with them not following covid guidelines I did not want them redone there. Was polite, but was argued with and aggressively denied a refund. Will not return and am letting people know what horrible service I experienced there. read more

Went here on Sunday morning with my daughter since she was treating me to a very belated mani and pedi for my birthday. We were the only customers at the time since they just opened. They were friendly and asked if we wanted any water, wine, soda and coffee. We declined as we had already stopped at Wawa :-). The salon was clean and bright with music playing and a tv on silent (not sure why) since there wasn't any close captioning. We sat in our chairs for service and I like that they lined the footbath with a liner. Clean tools (packed in plastic) were used for both of us. I really look at the cleanliness of the nail salons I visit because I am so scared of getting an infection from dirty tools and hands. I am glad I looked at their price board when the ladies started our services - $30 for a pedicure? I had to ask what was included - hot rocks, extra massaging. Nah. I don't need all of that. The express pedicure, which was $20, is your basic service and what I was looking for. My daughter also made sure she was getting the express as well. I opted for a basic manicure - $15, which is slightly higher than what I normally pay ($10-12 in the area) and started while the pedicure was going on. My daughter opted for the gel manicure so it would last longer. I should have gotten that as well since I wouldn't have to worry about it. I'll get that next time. The price for a gel manicure is $30. Not sure if that is a competitive price as neither of us have ever had one. As part of the regular manicure, your hand is dipped into parrafin wax, which was freaky. Lol. It did feel nice once it was peeled off and my hands were super soft. While your nails are drying a little massage is done on your neck and shoulders. I don't usually let them do this because I really do not strangers touching me (feet and legs are ok) but I didn't stop her this time. Overall, it was a nice experience and we may return but we intend to check out some other salons in the area since there are soooo many. read more

This is one of the newer nail salons in the area. It's bright and clean and the prices aren't too bad. They always include shoulder massages and skin softening wax during mani/pedis. The pedicures are okay and I've gotten the best and longest lasting gel manicures here. Though I wish they would expand their gel polish selection. If what you want is an acrylic manicure, then this isn't the salon for you. Only one person does acrylics here and although she is always very nice and conversational, her technique isn't the best. She used a file board more than the e-file which resulted in a thick and lumpy finish. Two days later all the edges of the acrylic were lifting and less than two weeks later a few nails have just "popped" off. read more

I was exhausted by the time I got there after having two horrible experiences and hour before a two other nail salons. One the nail tech was rude and the other told me I had to wait for two hours and they had nail techs available. Any hoo. Immediately I was asked if I wanted wine. This was my first time here. They where very nice. At first the water was too hot but that was a quick fix . The young lady that did my pedicure was great. I think she may have been new because she took a while but I didn't mind that at all, and I loved it. My nails where done mostly Lucy. They came out fabulous. Lucy also did my eyebrows......(this is the only, but yet a very important part) I wasn't satisfied with them. I just have to go somewhere else to get them done. I was a walk in client on a Saturday morning and they were happy to accommodate a gel manicure and pedicure. Let's start with the pedicure. Best leg and foot massage ever, including the use of hot stones, in a calm and quiet environment with a great massage chair. They also do a heel soak. Pro Tip: Ask for the ginger tea if you're not in the mood for wine. It's some kind of amazing concoction and I am here for it. I decided to get my nails done spur of the moment. It was 8:01 on Thanksgiving Eve when I walked in-- a minute after close. I was THAT person. But Jane was so kind, accommodating, and all around joyous. She did an amazing job on my nails as we chatted about delicious Korean food and the upcoming holiday. It made me feel uncomfortable watching her speak to them in a disrespectful manner. I could understand that there was a language barrier, but if she hired them, she cannot be angry or belittle them when they are trying to understand her. But to top it all of.... I was in the nail bar less than a week ago, and my dip nails (which are suppose to last a month) have already chipped, cracked, & one even broke a little off. I've never felt the need to write a bad review on a business before in my life. On the contrary the experience I had a day ago was by far the most unprofessional experience I've ever had. Lucy (the owner) did my acrylic nails so carelessly I almost thought about walking out halfway through. She was running around frantic the whole time trying to answer calls, assist other guests, and doing eyebrows, all while failing to cut, shape, or file my nails correctly. 20 minutes after I walk out of the salon, one acrylic nail pops off as if it were a cheap press on. The next morning, another nail. I immediately returned to the salon only to be met with the same treatment. Waiting for 45 minutes before she even helps me, and even then she was popping in and out of chairs. She offers to put the nails back on, doesn't even file them to make sure they are the same size as the rest. I understand a salon that is busy and I don't mind waiting briefly but if this is the experience you are going to give paying customers, you shouldn't own a salon. I don't like to bash businesses but this needs to be put out there before you waste your money at this place. UPDATE: it has been about 3 days since I got my nails done 3 have popped off on the right hand AND I went back to the salon to get them fixed. On my left hand the polish has just peeled off completely on one finger. read more
