i come here about every two weeks for a manicure and i am never disappointed! the staff is lovely and the environment is comfortable. the salon is a little on the pricier side but i believe that the service and atmosphere is worth it!

Within hours after my upgraded "long lasting" manicure

This was by far the worst manicure I've ever received, I really could have done my own nails better myself. First, I waited 20 minutes after my appointment time; I get it was a weekend and they're busy but that's egregious considering I had an appointment. When a manicurist finally did open up, she was super rushed and clearly not paying any attention, continuously looking around the salon at everyone else while she absentmindedly did my nails. She did not use any base coat at all, and she just used the water my fingers had been soaking in to push back my cuticles (which also seems pretty unsanitary??). I had upgraded to the so-called "long lasting" polish and she would have forgotten to use the correct long lasting top coat if I hadn't stopped her and called her out on it. My nails are uneven, every finger is a different shape. There are bubbles on half my nails and within 3 hours several nails had already started chipping. Frankly appalled by this service and would like a refund. Save your money, you might as well do your own nails at home.

Coco Blue is hands down the worst nail salon i have ever been to. Me and my sister were getting our nails done for her wedding and my sister asked for white nails with a design on her ring finger. The lady told my sister they don't do designs, so my sister asked if they could just do sparkles (mind you they charged her for a design). The sparkles were clumped together and my sister asked if it could be fixed and the employee said no, even though she knew it was for her wedding. For my nails I asked for a pastel yellow and it looks like someone dumped a whole bottle of mustard on my fingers. The polish was on my finger tips and cuticles and she pushed my cuticles so hard i started to bleed. Moral of the story don't come here it's so expensive a mani/pedi costed me $60 so save your money please. Update: I got them done 3 days ago and the gel is already chipping.

Carmen is meticulous! My feet stay soft for days after!

Best pedicure ever! Carmen is a gem and absolutely meticulous. The spa is incredibly clean, and every instrument is autoclaved and sanitized. And the management is phenomenal. What a special place! Mejor pedicura nunca! Carmen es una joya y absolutamente meticuloso. El spa es muy limpio, y cada instrumento se trata en autoclave y desinfectarse . Y la gestión es fenomenal . Qué lugar tan especial!

Seemed an effort to do nails. Rushed job, coverage was sketchy. The salon was empty--I know why.

I was not informed of the price change and was charged $40 for a simple pedicure. That's outrageous and bad business manners.

Stay away! Ritz Carlton prices for lackluster services. All Coco Blue salons are not the same! Bala Cynwyd store 100% superior.

I have been trying different nail techs so I can find one I love and can stick with and I tried a tech I've never had before. When she first started, she immediately grabbed the clippers and I told her I don't want my cuticles or my nails cut, just pushed back and filed. I was on the phone (which is my own fault), when she was responding and saying she wanted to even them out. I told her I just wanted them filed and I don't mind if they're not the same length. They're close enough. She still was saying they should be cut and was saying "what about these? Just a little to even out and then file?"And pointing to my different fingers, to which I just ultimately said "okay whatever you say I guess, I trust you". Which was entirely my mistake. I should have stood my ground but I didn't want to be difficult or make a scene. She cut all of my nails SIGNIFICANTLY shorter than I was expecting to "even them out". For reference, I have been working on growing my nails out for the past 8 weeks so I could have long nails for Thanksgiving and decided last minute to treat myself to a manicure because to try to avoid biting my nails due to stress. It only got worse. After she had already cut them, much lower than I was okay with, she then filed them into square after I told her to keep the natural shape and that I didn't want them to be shaped in square or round. I just wanted her to follow the natural line of my nails and even out the length. Even then, she made them square and when I asked her to round just the edges because they were way too square and sharp and she made every nail round. She filed so much and so low that my nails are now nubs almost as short as when I bite them. Despite trying not to, I immediately started crying because I could feel the physical discomfort of my nails being shorter than my fingertips for the first time in a long time and she continued on. I don't like to cause scenes, and there was nothing that could be done at that point so it would be pointless to complain so I sat there silently as she continued the manicure. I am so heartbroken, I've been upset ever since I left the nail salon today. Unfortunately nothing can be done and while she did a good job on the actual painting of the nails, she took away months of effort I have made to finally grow my nails out, after I told her what I wanted. While I realize I should have stood my ground, she should have respected what I was asking of her. I also will commend her for fixing one of my nails swiftly and with kindness. However, this experience upset me to the point where I am considering not returning to this salon. I have had my nails done and disliked them before (happens to everyone, nbd) but if someone has long nails and they're telling you not cut them, why are you continuing to push to cut them shorter and then filing so short that there's pain and discomfort? I hope this experience never happens to anyone else who is working as hard as I was to break that habit.
