If i could leave no stars, i would. It is tight in there, its like genuinely claustrophobic. They did not stop the asking asked multiple times, but they also cut into my nail. Came here as a walk-in for a spa pedicure with my husband on Saturday and we both highly recommend the technicians here. Everyone works so hard and is very polite to customers. The man who did my feet was very meticulous. The woman who did his feet was also very meticulous. They got all the dead skin off, leaving our feet feeling super smooth and refreshed. My very first time here and they all treated me like a QUEEN. I expressed that I had a very important appointment in 2 hours and they exceeded my expectations with their time And efforts and. I never tried the dipping method before so I decided to go with a dipping method manicure and also a spa pedicure with gel. This package came with hot stone and a 10 minute message from heaven. Clover has been my go to nail salon for the last few years. I've only been a couple times since the pandemic began but I love the quality and the service! SNS polishes last three weeks or longer and gel typically lasts two or more weeks. I got gel when I went in Saturday and I felt completely safe. Masks were worn by all staff, there were partitions dividing each seat from the next as well as the manicurist and customer. They even have a system for paraffin wax treatments where customers are not dipping their hands in wax at all (they are scooping wax onto your hand to eliminate germ spread). The nail technician Anna was VERY rough and heavy handed when removing my gel polish after only letting them soak for a second. She started ripping off the polish in a rush which was removing my actual nail because she was rushing. I don't know if it was suppose to be this way, but this is the 1st time it actually hurt getting my nails done. She damn near broke a finger trying to file my nails. The selection for SNS nail colors is just okay. But the results of the shade was alot darker than what was displayed. The nail salon is okay. I've been to cleaner places. The owner of the salon is very sweet and always making sure everyone in the salon is happy. I come in every two-three weeks and get a Spa Pedicure and SNS manicure. In my opinion, the SNS mani is the way to go. It never chips and dries instantly and no need to use the UV Ray lights to dry your nails. They have a ton of colors to choose from! After reading mostly positive reviews on Yelp, I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a gel manicure. I found the salon to be very clean and organized and the staff was very attentive. I did not have an appointment like majority of the other patrons but they were able to fit me in which I appreciated. Anna did my gel manicure and was a little rough like another Yelper mentioned but she was also meticulous about cleaning up my cuticles and covering every inch of my nail with polish. When she was finished, she dipped my hands in paraffin wax and wrapped them in Saran Wrap. When she unwrapped my hands they were soft and glistening and I was happy to have stumbled across this tranquil gem. I'm from chestnut hill and I can't believe this is the closest place in the area that does the dip powder (we were looking for ANC but they offered SNS [even though I saw in their storage that they had ANC, but idk what the difference is]). They separated my boyfriend's mom and I, which it would've been nice to sit next to the person you came with, but not a deal breaker lol. The place is really nice and clean! Nails: We got ANC/SNS/dipping powder manis (whichever one u wanna call it). Our nails came out wonderful, just as expected for an dip powder nail and it there weren't any crookedness or anything. They were very meticulous about their work which is a plus. They were also very accommodating... I didn't like the color I picked because it was a lot more sheer on my nail than on the nail display and didn't like how I can see my fingernail line, so they were so compliant to just change the color with no issues. You also get a free paraffin treatment with your mani which my boyfriends mom got and made her hands really soft (she has some cracks and splits from the cold), but I declined the treatment since we were pressed for time. This new type of gel which is actually a powder, and supposedly better for you than regular gel since no UV rays are involved in the setting process was said to last 21 days. And guess what? It did!! I was so happy with the strength of this mani! It felt like an acrylic nail without all of the damage! It costs just a few dollars more and involves just a bit more time, but you won't have to go back for three weeks! I'm in love! I also love this new salon in general. It's located in the heart of adorable Jenkintown! (Bring quarters for old school meters!). The staff was super friendly and offered cold drinks upon arrival. The space was immaculate and my mani/pedi came with complimentary back and neck massage and a free paraffin hand dip! LOVE! Prices are fairly standard, but the service was top notch! TLDR: Very unclear communication. Very high prices for gel, stickers, etc. compared to other salons. Tech kept using drill despite asking her not to. Bad vibe overall. Came in with 3 kids - they wanted gel polish change as a treat, as regular polish peels off in a day or two. I asked (repeatedly) for the nail tech to confirm the price for gel for kids, as the sign said $18 extra for gel for all manicures. She was a non-native English speaker, so she pointed 3X to the kid's polish price and kept asking their ages. Enter miscommunication ... Because I'd specified kids polish, and not manicure/pedicure...I foolishly assumed her pointing meant kid's polish WAS gel polish (which makes sense, since the drying time is instant and kids (at least mine) tend to pick at their nails). When I made the appointment, I asked if my acrylics could be soaked off, because at a previous salon the drill damaged my nails and cut my skin. I also asked for dip powder. When we arrived, I again stated this explicitly, and the tech said it would be an extra half hour to soak, and five dollars more - which I agreed to. After they took the kids back, I sat for about 15 min. when I approached the owner and asked if I could start soaking my nails since we knew it would take longer. She ignored me and 10 min later I asked another tech who listened. But as soon as my service started, the same tech whips out the drill. I explained (again) no drill, and she kept saying "just a little." I said NO. She walks away in a huff and says it's gonna take a long time. I said I understand, I can sit somewhere else so I'm not holding you up. (meanwhile literally no one is waiting). She ignores me. Comes back with the drill AGAIN. Meanwhile, another tech comes up and asks, "You sure about gel for the kids? $2 extra!" I said $2 was fine, please do the gel. Later, another worker brings me a slip and informs me it's $18 extra PER SERVICE for each girl just for the gel polish. This was after the feet were already done and they were about to start hands. They said the two dollars was ON TOP of that, because my youngest wanted a second color on one nail! I felt crazy since I thought we'd confirmed the price a bunch of times. Silly me. I told them to do plain polish on their hands, which we didn't even want because it's such a waste since it peels , but I'd also promised the kids I would treat them so I felt terrible. On to me. Finally, the old acrylic is off. She starts soaking my fingers in water and cleaning the cuticles. I look over I see gel polish bottles in the same colors I selected out of her book....FOR DIP. I reminded her my service was for dip, not for gel, and at that point she gets really huffy, and walks away to get the dip powder. Meanwhile it was now pretty obvious by tone and body language a couple are talking about us which made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. Never returning. Two stars instead of one because in fairness she did an ok job on the dip. I had a wedding this weekend in the area and the Brides Mother made us an appointment at the salon a week in advance. Upon arrival we were pushed and shoved into seats before being able to pick a color. About halfway through I was worried because they were kind of bumpy but Nicole was meticulous and they look perfect by the end. They aren't cheap at $35 but they look way more real than most acrylics, and they include a paraffin treatment for your hands, plus a shoulder and hand massage! I typically go here to get my nails done. I've had gel, a pedicure and SNS. The SNS lasts about 1 month which is incredible. I've gotten gel the past few times, they typically last 2-3 weeks but the last time I was here the gel didn't last over a week and the pedicure about the same amount of time. I also wasn't too pleased with the shaping of my nails. I took a break to grow my nails out, but I'm hoping the next time I go back my nails will last longer. read more

Gave my greetings of hello, more specifically to the owner Nicole, who does my gel manicure, sat on the couch however decided to use the atm to pay for my services anticipated. Approximetely, 3:35 PM, a young white woman came into the salon, no appointment, chose her color and she and I even shared comments on the many colors to choose from. I sat there an additional 10 minutes and by this time it was 3:50 PM. Nicole came over to me attempting to begin to take off my old nail polish and said "who came in first?" asking between myself and the white woman. I said to Nicole, " Nicole, you know I was here first, I had a 3:30 appointment." So she posed the question again, I said to her "don't do that, ypu know I was here first." She went and got her clipboard, the white woman just looked at me and said not a word. I inturn said she signed the clipboard and I did not but you know I was here first. Nicole said, "I was just checking." I proceeded to get up to leave the salon and Nicole said "no, no I'll do your nails, sorry." After coming to this nail don for more than two years I will not be back. I usually get SNS polish. I visited the salon today, one the more experienced nail techs applied my sns. When she was done I mentioned to her that the acrylic powder was caked above my cuticles. She tried to get it off and couldn't effectively remove the polish. The owner, Nicole, tried for a good five minutes to no avail. Finally I said to stop. She said they are good. I said no, this is not the way my nails have looked during prior visits. I told her I would like my money back bc the end result was the worst I've ever experienced there and now mu cuticles hurt. She said she would have to remove the sns to give me my money back. After two years as a customer and an over 75 minutes for this trip. 60 minutes of service and then 15 extra minutes of them poking and prodding, I said I don't have time to sit here and have you fool around with my nails. Long story, they've lost two customers and ANY future recommendations.
