Very disappointed. I have come here for several years for Pedicure. Last time I got a pedi, they upsold me to get tips and powder on my nails. They looked great so I decided to get again. Got my nails done Wed. Came back Thurs as one broke and now back Friday as another broke. They charges me more this time and I have had to come back for 2 repairs. I actually left earlier today as it was packed and they told me to wait. No one said I'm sorry or Even offered me $5 off my next visit. This is the last time I come here. So disappointed. I've been going here since we moved out to the area 7 years ago. I went for the first time in awhile today and was very disappointed. My nails already feel chipped, I can see the whites of my nails at the top and it's just not a good gel manicure. I could have done this at home and not paid $40. read more

I got the refill, and it wasn't very pleasant. She did it very rough and didn't let me pick my desired color. She pushed me to choose a color quickly and then did it quickly. It doesn't look very pleasant, and the color shade doesn't look the same. It is a BIG disappointment! I can't find a good nail salon near the Roslyn area! read more

I was going here for over a year & I was satisfied with the service. I usually had Lisa, very nice, personable & actually took an interest in me as a person not just a client. Unfortunately, the last few times I was in there I was not able to get Lisa. The other stylist are quite disappointing. I usually arrive at least 10 minutes before my scheduled service and still have had to wait 30 to 45 minutes, only to have my manicure rushed and sloppy. I feel as though one of the stylist (that I had two or three times) has such a limited grasp of the English language that she just does whatever she wants. Twice I had to have someone else explain to her my color choices. Needless to say, I found another nail salon. Keenan's has raised their prices, and since I can no longer have my manicure or pedicure done by Lisa, I figure why should I pay them for subpar service. read more

Its ok!!! I really like how it's first come first serve. Prices are a little on the high side. They don't badger you about a tip ( even though I tip regardless) Sometimes it is rushed and can be sloppy but you have to communicate that to your artist and they will fix it. read more

I live in Philly and I take the drive all the way to Willow Grove for this place - so you know this place is the biZznazz. Wide range of color selections, they now offer dip powders! I got dip powder w/ extensions and a regular pedicure which all came up to $65; $40 for the dip, $25 for the pedi. My nail tech Amy C. was the bomb.com. She made me feel comfortable and did my nails with so much precision and care. She really cares about her craft and cares about what her client wants. I wanted my nails to look more on the natural side and she did just that! Even though it was cutting close to closing time, she still took her time and made sure that I was happy with my nails. Can't tell ya how much I appreciate that (see my review for the other salon). She was really sweet and funny and I really enjoyed our conversation. First let me start by saying I took a ticket when I came in at 11:01. I waited until 1145 before I even got seated. The pedicure which was supposed to be a deluxe pedicure was subpar at best. The only difference between that and a regular pedicure was that they wrapped my legs and towels and let me sit for about five extra minutes. The massage was awful and I have gotten spa pedicures at other places for $25 cheaper that were amazing in comparison. Then I go to get my refill and asked for almond shaped nails which they already were and she was just keeping the shape. She filed them down to points which almost look like stiletto. Didn't soak my nails or hands didn't even cut my cuticles. The bill was $96 not including tip. I am very dissatisfied with my service. FYI on their Facebook page it does not allow you to select no you don't recommend the business so the only way you can post is if you click yes you recommend. read more

Kenan's nail spa is, in my opinion, the best nail place in the Willow Grove area. I've been going here consistently for the past two years and I've never had a complaint or a problem. The prices are perfect and my nails always look amazing when I leave. I generally see a different nail tech. every time I'm in and they all do an equally great job! I get gel or dip on my nails. The only negative thing I could say would be that sometimes there is a long wait... however it's because they're a great salon and very popular! I avoid getting my nails done here on the weekend and during after work hours because that's when they're normally the most busy! read more

This was a spur of the moment decision. My husband and myself just came back from a 17 day trip to Italy. I will speak for myself, my white gel nails looked grey at the tip and looked so dirty that i just had to get my nails done after work. My normal nail salon was sadly closed on a Monday. So my husband and I were just going to wing it, and hoping for the best. Well we ended at this nail salon. We were not really greeted. I was told to sign in and then a piece of paper pops out with your name and number. We did not wait long. We had the pedicure 1st, I am used to the manicurist rubbing my nails with the cuticle remover with a little bit of pressure. I am also used to getting a deep massage of my legs prior to putting nail polish on, but sadly this did not happen here. On to the manicure, while i was getting a pedicure , they put the cotton with the foil on to my nails. Since they did that the gel nail polish came off quickly. Again i wished she put more pressure when taking the cuticles off the finger nails. When she completed with the cuticle removal, she used a electronic tool that rotates. Which she used to even out my cuticles and smooth out the top of my nails. I really like that, my nails looked so nice without nail polish and no white spots or streaks on my nails. I almost thought about not getting a gel manicure. She did a great job on my nails of both my feet and hands. Again, I have never been to this salon before. My normal salon just makes me feel welcomed and we kid around. Another service which I wish they did, would be the massage after the manicure. My salon also provides a back massage after your manicure . That I did miss. If I had no other choice, I would return to this nail salon. The salon is beautiful inside. many seats for pedicure and many seats for manicures too. At the time day we went 5pm we saw 5 nail salon workers. This place is very clean. Another thing I noticed- I did not see how much the fees would be for each service. Unless , i missed it. Again, I would visit this nail salon again. This place looks really nice when you walk in. They have an iPad at the front desk to sign in. But I'm not really impressed with the gel mani I got done today. My cuticles weren't pushed back at all. I've been a customer for about 3 years. Now that I've gone back post-pandemic. I'll never go back. Ever. Firstly Trina burned my skin with an eyebrow wax. I have a big scab and no apology that day. Next after spending over $300 with bringing along my family. I paid for bio powder manicure and dip tip. Amy the technician I had went to go put gel tips on my dip base. I stopped her several times and said I paid extra for dip tips but she said she does it this way not with dip. That made no sense because my mother used another technician and she had dipped tips as well. I escalated my concern in the salon and no one wanted to understand or refund me. This was my second horrible experience after going back to my monthly schedule. The first experience I thought was a fluke because the lady that worked on my dads feet cut his nail so badly it was bleeding and even the stuff they dropped on there didn't stop the bleeding for awhile. When I went back with my mom and sister it was even worse. Not to mention the prices are staggering. $70 for a deluxe pedicure when they barely massage your legs is ridiculous plus gel on top of that. Service is way down. I normally don't mind paying extra for quality service but this salon severely lacks attention to customers now, and they've lost another one in me. read more

I stumbled upon Kenan's when another place was unable to take customers that day. I found them on Yelp. They had great reviews and it was right down the road. Perfect! I walked in and the place was clean and in tip top shape. Not the friendliest. I waited about 15 minutes for my mani/pedi. Not bad. I don't think my entire service for a full mani/pedi was more than 20 mins. They were busy which is understandable. But for a $45 service, she was careless and rushing. It made me anxious. I couldn't even look my nail tech in the face, I was so disappointed. The cuticle care was poor and non/existent and the polish job was fast and sloppy! My massage....more like a feather stroke with some lube. My mani took place at the pedicure bowl where I uncomfortably reached across my pregnant belly while she preformed it to only the one side. When finished she walked me to the dryer, turned it on and walked away! That was it. I said "Thank you" to which she didn't reply. And that was that! Of all days to pay an extra $8 for long lasting polish for a below mediocre service. Note: Other customers did seem happy with their services.
