I went here with my bestie on a late Tuesday evening. She was getting her feet and nails done. I have never visited a nail salon that was empty. No patrons. I was surprised. The business seems very personable and intimate as they knew my friend by name. I decided to get a manicure with gel nail polish. The technician was seated at a station close to the back by the mirrors. I forgot her name but I will say that she took the utmost care with my nails. My natural nails. I do not have acrylic or any other type of chemical on my nails. I really just wanted to get rid of the hangnails that plague me all the time. She was very gentle, did not hurt my hands and was very thorough. And she was applying the base coat she had a method where she would paint three nails starting with the pinky put you under the heat lamp and then go to the other hand and do the same thing. Then she would come back and do the index finger in the thumb and alternate. I had never seen anyone do that before but it worked. My nails look natural they do not look like it has layers of layers of Polish although I know for a fact that she put several on there. No clumps no bumps perfectly smooth perfectly shaped nails. I wish I could remember her name because she told me but I cannot but she's in the back. I will visit this place again. read more

This is the absolute worst nail salon I've ever been too. First off the shape of my nails are all different , the polish doesn't even start at the cuticle of my nail. My nails don't look freshly did and I will not be returning. They are sloppy and not worth paying for. UPDATE: I called to see if I can get refunded and they insisted I come in even though I live 30 minutes away my nail also started to lift after a couple hours . This was terrible!! They are wide thick and lumpy . She took an hour and 15 minutes just to apply the acrylic to my nails . I asked her to take them off many times and she kept telling me to wait . They are crooked, it's polish under my nails. She was basically telling me my fingers are fat and that's why the nails are when that's a lie. Couldn't get a design because I guess they don't do designs. Ask for matte nails but my nails still look shiny. Nails keep messing up even though I let them dry. I'm not going back. They are doing 20% off services which is nice as part of their grand opening, smart way to get people in. They also offer if you come x number of times you get $10 off your next service. Fantastic place. I was driving through the area and did a simple Yelp search and wanted to try this place. Over the years I have been to probably 30+ salons and this is in my top 5 for sure. Received a gel fill with shellac on top and eye brow waxing. Was there for about 70 minutes. Received mini back massage while my nails were drying and a paraffin wax on my hands all for just a fill in! Ask for Ann. I will be going back when in the area. However there are two women who have done my nails each a few times in the past couple months and each time, I'm completely underwhelmed. This salon boast many great reviews ... today on my second visit ... the woman who seems to be in charge obviously got up on the wrong side of life this morning. Had I known that she was such a beast ... ( solely my opinion) I would not have returned. When I arrived, there were no other technicians there. After an abrupt wave of her arm I was directed to a seat for pedicure. The water was cold .. instead of talking she would push and pull my legs out of the water, The same with my hands. At one point I had to snatch my hands back and ask her to stop!!! Worst mani/pedi I have ever had. This is the same woman who told me on the first visit two weeks prior ... to relax and "don't worry about a thing". Different strokes for different folks. The experience did not give me a-glamorous and relaxing feeling. The pedicure left my toenails with noticeable traces of the former polish of a different color. So ... you win a few and you lose a few. My Nana used to tell that ... ITS BETTER TO MAKE $500. A WEEK FOR THE REST OF YOU LIFE .. THAN $1000. ONCE!! I have a very busy work schedule and find it hard to get to the nail salon during the work week. I yelped a nail salon that is open on Sunday's and came across this gem!!! I LOVE this place. Super clean, super friendly staff, great selection of colors for gel and regular polish. Prices are affordable and we didn't have to wait. I had Tammy do my pedicure and gel manicure and she did an amazing job! The wax wrap at the end felt amazing and made my hands super soft! My boyfriend and I went together for manicures and pedicures. The women who worked on us were very nice. The gentleman at the front desk was also very sweet. My pedicure was fine. However, my manicure paint job was really crappy. It looks sloppy. Nail polish was ALL OVER my cuticle. Also, the color I chose was neon, so it looks matte without a top coat to make it shiny. She did a sloppy job with the topcoat application, so the polish at the base of my nails nearest to my cuticles are matte, not shiny. The top coat wasn't applied to the entire nail, starting at the base of the nail. She started the top coat application too far away from my cuticles. I've been going here for about 3 years. It was convenient when I lived 5 mins away but moved about a year ago. I tried a few other places but didn't get the same great service I was getting at Pearl Nail Spa. However, the last few times that I've gone I've been very disappointed. No callus gel or oil used on my cuticles during my pedicure and rushing my acrylic refill. The last time she didn't even brush the filings off before she started my refill. I've also never had any issues with infections, fungus, warts...not this time. I had peeled my gel polish off one of my nails as it came up thinking I was going a few days later to get a refill anyway. I noticed a dark spot under the acrylic and immediately pulled the acrylic off knowing it was nail fungus. I've been treating it for a few days now so it's not as dark in the picture, but one of my other nails also had fungus. I've been trying to get them all off, it's painful, but I don't want to go and have them do it knowing their tools must not be that clean. read more
