Decided to stop here after lunch for a classic manicure. Parking: a lot Atmosphere: bright Service: We weren't greeted. My nail tech was quick and made sure I was ok. She couldn't suggest any natural colors. I'm used to nail salons offering water/wine. This place didn't offer that. The classic manicure was $20. They offer waxing also. Overall, the service was ok. I would go back. read more

Gave the salon a second chance on June 11, 2025 my boys came with. we all 3 had Spa pedicure and I also had gel manicure. It is not 4 days and my nails look like sloppy . I will not be going back. Did not see that the technician with me seemed to care of a nice job to be given. with all the service the bill was over $250 not including tip. I want to add what my nails look like after 4 days read more

I love love how the young lady does my nails she is gentle efficient and very good ! She has a wonderful personality! She holds a conversation with you and show interest in you.. My problem is I went to pay with my card and gave her cash for tip .. I go to sign my cc slip and there is a 7.00 charge for using my card !! Are you freaking kidding me!!!!!!!!! I don't know if I'll go back to be honest.. sound like some one is cooking the books ... read more

My $25 lashes have been to 3 countries, on a hike in the desert, to a couple of hot yoga classes, for a swim in the Dead Sea and through many a tears (mostly happy) in the last 4 weeks... and they're JUST now coming off! And that's only because I accidentally pulled on them yesterday! I'm super impressed with the durability of my lash clusters done by the lovely and detail oriented Jane. Jane, who came highly recommended by a friend who is a client of hers for manicures took me as a walk-in mid-day on a weekday and in 20 minutes or so I had a beautiful, full, flirty set of lashes! (I get them done as part of my pre-travel rituals to keep me from looking too tired while leg-lagged...and it saves me from packing and fussing with mascara! Ain't nobody got time for that:) For those not familiar with these types of lashes, they are synthetic and stiffer than lash extensions (also, a heck of a lot cheaper). They are much more dramatic and perfect to try for your first time to wear to wedding or large event where you will be photographed. The trickiest part is getting them off! You can either come back and have them removed or filled in or just buy remover. If you pull them yourselves you risk ripping your own lashes out, so be careful! Unfortunately I don't live in the area, but may just have to time a visit to the area, which will include the mall nearby when I'm thinking of getting them done again! Well worth the money and trip up here! read more

Finally! I have found my new nail place in my area. I have been searching for a while to find a nail/wax place that I love as much as the one I used to go to when I lived in Jamison. I've tried several local places and have been disappointed at each one of them, especially in the eyebrow waxes. I've gone to Lux about 3 times now for an eyebrow wax, and they have done a great job every time. It's only 7$ as well. They're very friendly, and the place is nice and clean. The pedicures are also great - they have a really wide variety of color choices and did a great job with me every time. They also take their time, unlike some other local places. Everyone there is also very friendly. I can't comment on manicures because my nails aren't long enough (lol) but I've seen some other patrons and their nails look good. I love this place and would definitely recommend it. read more

I used to like this place, and I got excellent services from the manager. Today I tried to make an appointment for tomorrow. The receptionist asked me to make a $60 deposit by credit card or if paying cash, to bring in a cash deposit today. And they don't "do" receipts. Nope--going elsewhere now. read more

I asked for dip nails and they said they didn't have the color in dip powder but they had it in gel, so I just asked to do gel since that would be cheaper. However the nail tech said that dip powder with the gel polish would be $40 and gel alone is $40, so obviously I decided to do the dip powder and gel. Turns out, gel alone was $30 and not $40. Not only that, she refused to apply a base coat since it "doesn't look nice" even though I asked. She was very rough with my nails and extremely rude to me. I totally understand that the holidays are super busy and I appreciate them for being there, however I still paid for the nails that I didn't like and was lied to about the price. read more

Went here to get my nails done and ended up with a trip to Urgent Care. Finger is extremely infected, sorry for the gross pictures. Called to discuss getting a refund and was told "you can't get an infection from fake nails, only maybe a pedicure." Pretty sure that's incorrect. Anyway, was told they would get a hold of my nail tech and get in touch. They next day they called and I was traveling so I called back when I was told 'Ethan' would be there- surprise he wasn't. At this point I'm out $50 for the nails and $50 for my Urgent Care visit. Still waiting on a call, but I feel as though they're not taking this serious. Will never get my business again. read more

Always love my nails, and I'm picky. They always understand that it takes me FOREVER to pick a color and then if even the tiniest thing isn't right, they fix it immediately! (I have definitely stubbed my toe and had to walk back in) they never rush you and are always happy to see new faces as well as the regulars. read more

I signed up for Yelp just to review Lux because they are amazing! I have gotten my nails done many times with the hello kitty design and most places are only willing to do one nail on each hand. They gladly did every nail with the design in such an intricate and cute way! In addition, they are quick and priced like your typical nail salon...$30.00 for a full set. Very clean, nice atmosphere and the nails lasted longer than I've ever had before.. About one month and they are still on and looking great. I will definitely go there every time!! read more

Lovely place! The staff here is so nice, accommodating, professional, innovative, & fun. The salon is mostly clean - could use a good dusting & sweeping. I also hate that the staff smokes cigarettes directly out back & the odor travels into the salon. The staff ability with designs is pretty fantastic, almost unparalleled in the area (I'm sure there a fantasy nail art designer out there i don't know). They are able to fit people in quickly & put out some amazing work. I'm def a repeater. read more

I came into Lux to get a full set for a wedding I was in. I had a certain design in mind and even called ahead so I could be convenient for the employees. I left with nails that only lasted a little under two weeks. The design was okay but not how I really wanted. The nails were uneven and had ripples throughout them. I was very unhappy and will not be returning. read more

Love this nail salon. I got gel tips. I'm very picky about how they are done, A lot of places make them to thick, I hate that. They did it perfectly here, they look so natural. I come here to mostly get pedis and sometimes manicures, when in town. They always do a great job. The polish lasts for a few weeks and stays shiny. I also never have to wait too long. Another bonus for me, is this salon does not have any strong fume smells and is very clean. read more

I was not impressed with the service that I received. They must have over booked and the place was jam packed so the nail technician was rushing to do my nails and they look terrible. From the way she applied the acrylic, to the way she filed the nails and painted them- HORRIBLE. I will never go back. I was just looking for a quick fill and paint for a special occasion and this was not the place to go. read more

So welcoming and helpful and great English. I don't mind going to a place where English is not the first language, but it was definitely a pleasant change! My mother also really liked it, they fixed her acrylics. I got the SNS dip and it turned out great besides one of my nails is funky. I think I'll continue getting the dip! read more

Lux is amazing! I've been getting my nails done professionally for 10 years and I've never loved a place as much as lux. The staff is really talented and very friendly. The woman who did my nails accidentally broke the skin and it started bleeding. When I said "ouch", she said nothing and acted like she was annoyed. Then when I pointed out that it was bleeding, she ignored me. When I asked if she heard me, she literally said, "Don't worry about it." I was stunned. I have been coming to Lux for over a year and I usually had pretty good experiences. But today I walked in at 6:28pm to get my eyebrows done and I was turned away. I was told that they take the last customer at 6:30 and close at 7:00 (mind you it was 6:28). I would have completely understood if I was getting my nails done, but this time it was my eyebrows which take less than 5 minutes to do. I was told that "we usually would take you but this woman has been waiting for a while. There was at least 2 people still getting their nails done so I clearly wouldn't have held them up. Unfortunately I will never return to Lux again because of this experience. read more

Disappointed. First visit my nails looked great when I left. The gel started peeling two days later. I went back and had them redone after about 5 days. I scheduled an appointment but waited 40 minutes to be seen. When I finally sat down with the technician I felt a bit rushed. They were done very very fast. I thought part of my bill would be discounted because they definitely should not have been peeling after only a few days, but I was charged full price. When I left I noticed they were extremely lumpy and uneven. I definitely will not be going back. read more

i am DISGUSTED with this place. first they took so long to get to me and when they finally did i sat in the chair for 20 minutes waiting. then they lady complained ruined my nails from the shape, color and size, then didn't even give me a full manicure? all she did was take my polish off and change it and i paid 30 dollars for crap!! my nails look grainy and she didn't wait for the light and wiped it anyway and now they're streaky! my pointer fingers are also 2 different sizes and lengths and none of my nails are even across. the polishes have a weird smell to them so hopefully didn't catch any diseases. NEVER going back that's for sure. read more
