I've been a customer here for years, but today's visit fell short in a way I can't overlook. I brought my daughter for a pedicure before her prom - a special occasion - and the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Her technician stopped mid-service to work on another client, leaving my daughter waiting while I sat finished. Neither technician made an effort to ask my daughter what she wanted, and when she requested a french pedicure, the response was noticeably cold. It's a shame, because I wanted this to be a nice memory for her. I think it's time to find a new salon. read more

1/28/2020 I went here with a friend under her recommendation to get a gel manicure. It was pretty empty when we got there. They had a large assortment of colors and they were pretty flexible with patterns. I was not anticipating a back massage at the end, but it was definitely a good way to end the manicure. They also gave me a free gift that were leftover from the Christmas season so that was also a lovely surprise as well. The price was pretty cheap compared to the others places I've heard about so I highly recommend. I'm so disappointed in this place. They are so rude and overpriced. My friend and I made appointments and we waited over 25 minutes over our appointment time. When we finally got into the pedicure chair the technician threw the menu of services on the other chair and walked away. When I sat down for my pedicure and they handed me a menu, I thought it was the greatest moment ever. I've had both the reflexology pedicure and the spa pedicure and they were both fantastic. The first time I came they gave me the gift of toe-less socks so that my feet wouldn't be cold in the 30 degree weather with flip flops. For my second visit I brought my mom, who is extremely particular, and she got a gel manicure, which she was thrilled with. The entire experience was exceptional. Lisa did a really great job and was very careful with the whole process. She took her time and paid attention to small details. This was my second time having her as my nail tech and she doesn't disappoint! I definitely recommend her! The salon had a very relaxing and calming environment. I have been getting all different types of pedicures here for about 8 years now. The customer service is amazing! They are very attentive and thorough every time I get my pedicures. They have 6 different options to choose from and you can choose from a menu! (My personal favorite is the spa pedicure!) The atmosphere is very calming and relaxing. They always treat their customers very well by greeting them as they walk in and taking their time with their work even when it is busy. I have also gotten gel manicures a few times, and again, they are very attentive and detailed. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Julie's Nail and Spa, it is definitely worth it! P.S. I've been going to this salon for a number of years now and the owner changed and nail techs come and go but they always maintain an excellent cadre of talented women doing manis and pedis. I don't have much experience with their waxing, I only used them to do face waxing once. It was good but my exposure is limited. I've gotten to know several of the manicurists and pedicurists, and they always remember me and greet me in the friendliest way. It isn't noisy; I like to relax when I have my nails done and find it annoying when the staff converses loudly with each other while working on my nails; it really distracts me from resting or reading, which happens at a lot of places. When we came in they freaked out over the fact that we wanted gel manicures and proceeded to hover over us (seriously we could feel them breathing on us) as we chose our colors. So incredibly disappointed. Have been here a bunch of times. This time, forgetting about some more minor issues and the fact that my manicure itself was not done well, my finger was cut-badly- to the point it's still hurting really badly a day and a half later. It was cut noticeably BELOW the cuticle area. I believe this is because I paid for a spa manicure and spa pedicure, and they tried to save time by doing them at the same time. They had me twist my torso for 40 min so she could do my nails in an awkward position where I'm sure it was harder for her to see also. Recognizing that everyone makes mistakes, I tried to ignore how much the cut hurt at the time, only to then have hot wax spilled all over -8 inches across and 6 inches vertically- on a new sweat suit I had literally purchased the day prior. There was no offer to compensate me for ruining my clothes, no discount of any kind for these major issues, just an 'I'm sorry' and trying to run and scrape it off while my nails dried, completely unsuccessfully. I will never go back - not because they made mistakes, but because they didn't even attempt to make good on these issues. read more

I came here looking for a new spot to come every 2 weeks but was very disappointed. The woman who did my refill kept hurting me and as I pulled away, she'd yank my hand back. Then the gel color I picked out was wrong. I thought maybe I told her the wrong number, but I saw that the numbers were not matched with the right color. They do a good job when the place is not busy. When it's busy they rush you too much. Some people might enjoy getting their manicure while getting their pedicure, I don't! Overall, this is a nice, clean salon with polite and efficient service. They generally do a good job. However, on Saturdays they seem to bring in extra staff some of whom seem extremely inexperienced. There is a young woman named Sarah for instance who is very timid and does not do a good job at all. Sometimes the owner brings what appears to be her middle school aged daughter and she works on clients as well and doesn't appear to have proper training either. They are nice but your feet will be in the same condition when you leave as they were when you arrived. They will run the file across your foot two or three times in a very timid manner and be done. If you get any of the other women here, they will do a great job for you. The salon always smells nice and is not over crowded. If it weren't for the poor experiences with the young girls, I would give the place 5 stars. read more

I am currently here and I am blown away. It's my first time and experienced great service. I thought I was going to get a regular pedicure compared to the place I usually get nails done but I was out with my girls and decided to get pampered. I had Kelly and she really payed attention to my pups. Even a small leg massage was very deep and pleasant. I did not feel rushed at all. Then again I came on a day that was slower during the week and snowing outside. She even gave a minute or two of a hot stone massage over clothing while my toes dried and a little by hand around the neck. It was not long but great for the price you pay. read more

The place seemed dirty and I did not see them bring over clean tools. At one point she dipped a tool in blue "sanitizing" water for a second. As for the pedicure, they did not remove the dry dead skin on my feet! They look the same besides the polish on the nails.
