I'll let your future customers be the judge . . . My husband had been talking about this Russian-style nail salon for months and how nice the lady's nails at his job looked. As a full-time working mother, also in school full-time, I have little time for pampering. I was so excited my husband booked an appointment for me as a Mother's Day gift. I had not had one day off in four months, and my school term just finished on Sunday. Two hours before the appointment on the way home from work, I got into a car accident. I was an emotional wreck! I asked him to cancel the appointment. My car was also not safe to drive. He told me he canceled it. Two hours later the nail salon calls back, and said they were waiting for me for the appointment. My husband explained he left a voicemail 2 hours ago that I had been in a car accident and asked to cancel it. He asked if they received that voicemail but the person on the phone deflected the question. She said, "I'm sorry, but our policy is to charge for the *FULL COST* of the nail service without a 24 hour cancellation." Although I understand the need for policies as a business, people deserve to be compensated for their time --especially from those who book appointments with no intention of canceling ahead of time because they changed their mind --it's also true that car accidents are rare and people aren't planning to get into a car accident a couple hours before their nail appointment on a routine basis! Life happens sometimes, occasionally your kid gets sick, your car breaks down, your loved one dies. You may have every intention to be somewhere when you book an appointment, which isn't feasible when the time comes. I did cancel immediately when I had an event that prevented me from attending the appointment. Additionally, I think charging the "full cost of the nail appointment for less than a 24 hour notice" is an unreasonable policy. Maybe consider a $25 or $50 fee like a doctor's office or other businesses? I was already crying and upset, and now hearing their callous, apathetic response made me feel even more distraught about the circumstances. It took a gift that was supposed to be a meaningful celebration for me in honor of Mother's Day--and now made me feel minuscule and undervalued. Their dismissive manner squelched any desire to rebook my service. Their first impression was truly distasteful. I'm sure they do a nice job on nails . . . but I will never know. read more

This Russian manicure ruined my nails. Upon asking them to remove what they applied to my nails they left thick layers of builder gel. Marika was the tech who did the Russian manicure and unfortunately also did the removal and was extremely heavy-handed for both. My nails are completely wrecked. Upon asking for a refund after eight days of having their work on my hands, that lifted, chipped, burned, they denied it. It was extremely unfortunate that I had to go back to the salon to have them remove everything on my hands and yet they still denied a refund request stating that this was natural grow out rather than their improper technique and skill set. Marika is a terrible nail technician, and the entire salon has no concept of correcting poor quality work. Save yourself the heartbreak and hardship and never come to this salon, you will leave disappointed. read more

After a recommendation from a friend I wanted to come here. It was painful and made me bleed. I requested for Nina to cut my nails and after telling her multiple times she just filed them instead of cutting them. I then noticed I was bleeding at my cuticle. I got so uncomfortable I gave her a $20 bill for her time, told her I'm going somewhere else and stormed out. Not a good vibe. would not come back. I'm wearing a band aide now. I've been looking for the coveted Russian manicure that everyone's been talking about on social media and I found the perfect place in Tilfisi Nail Spa. My manicures have never been this good. I've been twice and each time I am floored by the attention to detail. They actually care about the look and health of your nails. It's well worth the 30 minute drive for me. Pros: * You can schedule appointments online (walk ins welcome). * They have complimentary beverages like coffee and water. * The spa is clean and spacious. It doesn't smell like nail chemicals. * Pricing is great especially for the service. * The staff are very friendly Cons: Metered street parking only takes quarters. It's 2024 the county needs to step it up because I never have change. I know I have found my salon and I'm happy to finally find a place that I can call home. read more

I started going to Tiflisi back in September and I have been there a total of 5 times (approximately once/month) and I am BLOWN AWAY by the quality of their services. I have been getting either Russian manicure or rubber base manicure at each visit and they always last me 5+ weeks without chipping or breaking. So far the only reason my nails need to be redone is because they are grown out, but never because the polish wears off or chips. I have super thin nails and usually hate growing them long, but the rubber base coat they apply reinforces my nails just the right amount so that they feel natural but strong, and I actually enjoy growing them out now! I am a perfectionist, and without a doubt this salon is the best I've ever been to in my life. It is peaceful inside. Their prices are EXTREMELY fair for the quality of service and how long the manicure lasts. I also got a pedicure 10 weeks ago and it's still going strong no chips. Booking online is easy, great selection of colors and talented nail artists there. I book with Teo, she is the best!! read more

My pedicure was very nice and well done. But the manicure.... I've had them done for 3 days and they're still bleeding and sore and possibly infected. The manicurist was rough and painful and they overcharged waaaaay more than their site says. Won't be going back. read more

I really wanted to love this nail salon because my first experience was so amazing! But, after my last manicure I'm sad to say I won't be returning. I've had 3 different techs each time I've gone, hoping for them to be as good as the first only to be disappointed. I don't mind paying for quality work, but for an almost $100 manicure, including tip, my nails shouldn't be chipping and polish shouldn't be peeling not even a week later. The owner is super nice and accommodating, this review isn't about customer service because all the girls are great! I just wish the quality was better/more consistent for what they charge. read more

I have had a lot of manicures in my life and the manicure I got at TIFLISI was the absolute, hands down, BEST manicure I have EVER gotten. I raved about it for hours to my friends and family. I do not plan to go anywhere else. It is a friendly atmosphere and clean - it was a great experience - I went there on a whim today and it was the best decision I made. Amazing!!!
