The tech, who I'm assuming is the owner filed and shaped my nails so quick and then told me to wait while he finishes up the client he had earlier. I found that bizarre but decided to go with the flow. There were so many people waiting to get helped and I felt like the whole process was extremely rushed. I used to come to this place all of the time and thought nothing of it to get a full set of coffin nails, pedi, and tinted eyebrows here. I had asked for very light brown for the tint, and my eyebrows were tinted BLACK. There is no mistaking the two colors. I have strawberry blonde hair so black looks ridiculous on me!!!!!!! My main concern is with the nails: I had only gotten acrylic nails because I wanted the coffin shape. Otherwise, I would have gotten a gel manicure since that is what I usually get. The woman who first did my nails had no idea what she was doing. The nails weren't even on straight let alone coffin shaped. The nails were uneven, very crooked, different shapes and hurt really bad. I was told that the pain was due to not being used to the acyclic, since I haven't gotten it in awhile. I was rushed out due to them closing, but noticed how horrible the nails were when I got home and showed my boyfriend. I called the salon and the insisted that they'd fix it. When I went in I requested to just have them taken off. I was told that the glue was "too new" to take off and that if they did it my nails could be ripped off with the fake ones. The manager added more acrylic to the nails to "fix" them but they were still cooked, not coffin shaped, and were still hurting me. I told my friend about this and the pain and she told me to go to her nail salon to get the nails taken off. Once the technician took the polish off she could see how horribly done the nails were!!!! She said there was way too much acrylic and the tips were not put on correctly. It took her 2 hours to get them off!!!! When we finally got to my natural nail, she showed me that the nails were lifting and a few are infected. I have added pictures. This place has been nothing but a nightmare and I don't recommend anybody coming here!!!! I will be reporting this place and will fight for my money back. BEWARE. read more

I come here often but increasingly disappointed each time. Avoid Ping by all means! Gel manicure looked like I needed a refill before I walked out the door and chipped before the day was over. She saw that my polish on my pedicure was nicked as well but neglected to offer to fix. If I had more time I would have said something about both. She didn't clean cuticles for either. No care or attention given. Will take my business elsewhere for now on. No reason to pay for below par service when this is a luxury. Sad to always pay for dissatisfaction. read more

I was going back to NJ just to get my nails done at my old Salon before I moved to Northeast Philadelphia. Why.... because they did a good job and can do anything you wanted them to do and being a New Jersey person you can imagine I like lots of different things on my nails. I got tired of the drive plus the fact my previous nail salon start using low quality products and it resulted in fungus and broken nails, so I decided to search for another nail salon. I just hopped in the car and drove down the street and decided to go to the first nail salon that I saw which was DT. I'm always very wary about trying a new nail salon because none of them are really able to live up to my standards. I walked in to a beautiful bright clean Modern Salon. They had beautiful colors beautiful lights even I went into the bathroom and it was a spectacle. It was busy too and it's understandable....salons that have good quality and give good service will be busy so if you plan to go here I suggest highly that you make an appointment. I have no problem waiting that's why I come on my day off and I waited about 15 minutes understandably because they were taking appointment clients and me working in a salon i know that they get precedence. The owner of the place did my nails and really took very good care of me. He fixed the botched up work from the previous nail salon and I honestly don't think that other than when I do my nails myself, I have ever walked out of a nail salon with such a perfect set of fingers. I am so happy that I chose this place as it is very clean it is bright and it's friendly. He even used a brand new nail file on me which is pretty much not done at other places. A refill, repair, 10 chrome nails and on long nails was $47. I honestly thought id be paying at the least, $60. If you want to come here I highly suggest doing it at a time where you're not pressed for time or making an appointment because as I said they are a very high-quality salon and it's totally understandable while so many people Patron their store. You cant expect to walk into an upscale hair salon with no appt and be able to get sat right away. And don't come on here and start complaining because you had to wait like seriously the world doesn't revolve around you. You can only service so many people at once. They arent robots. read more

Came in for a fill and pedi with my daughters along, who also got mani/pedis for our vacation the next day. First I was very disappointed with the polish choices, with most of the OPI colors dried out or in outdated or winter colors, I was left with a sub par brand. The polish was then slapped on and not applied carefully. My daughters cuticle is sore where the technician was too rough. By the second day of vacation all of our polish has chipped and even my acrylics are completely dull and the color is worn off along the edges. Unfortunately, I will not be back. read more

Been here several times since they opened and it's always uncomfortable. When I'd had a pedicure done, there was a very young girl doing mine who wound up scalding my feet and apologized profusely. She must've been about 14 at the time. Every time I've had my nails done, they try to rush me into getting a polish to get the job done quickly and I've learned to make them wait just as I have to wait patiently to be serviced. You have to speak up with them or they'll do what they think is best for you. At this point, this has become a last resort place for me. They were fine when they first started, but it's just gone downhill. The language barrier with some of the people in here is just too difficult to deal with anymore. My mom came with me and received a short back massage as her nails were drying and I did not. The woman who was doing my nails didn't even walk my purse over to the drying station. I went for a pedicure and manicure. For my pedicure I loved it and the person who did it was extremely nice. But for my nails I wanted to have powder on my nails. The person was a different one that did my pedicure. She clearly didn't know how to do it. I felt very upset, but I gave her and the woman who did my pedicure tips because they deserve it for the work they did. Either way it was disappointing and the price that I had to pay was even more than other nails salon I went to. All year every year. Result: I really like my toes! They have all the new Essie colors, as well as a ton of OPI so that's great. She trimmed my nails even , they really look nice! She also knew NOT to dig under the nails with some metal tool like so many other places do- that's how you get fungus, in case you didn't know. Now for the problem:: my heels !:( I'm a huge fan of the new automatic filer that some of the salons use now to scrub off the rough skin & soothe any calluses or rough spots. I 'thought' they used it here, but today they didn't & my heels look terrible. I would've asked my tech, but honestly my visit was taking much longer than I wanted & I was kind of in a hurry to get out of there. This might not be a big deal to everyone but I live in flip flops, sandals & strappy pumps. Horrible! I heard good things about this salon and went in last year before vacation for a gel mani and regular pedi. I purchased my own tools so that I didn't have to worry about contamination from other feet. The technicians kept using old files and buffers despite the fact that I paid for my own tools (and purchased them from their salon). When I tried to tell them I had my own, they didn't understand (language barrier) and I had to keep calling over the manager. I did not want to seem annoying but I also did not want to get an infection. Well..... My gel mani chipped within 2 days of being on vacation and I got a fungal infection on two of my toe nails. NEVER, EVER again! I never go to nail salons for this exact reason and not I am stuck with fungus. Please do not go to this nail salon. read more

Go to YUMI! I have been coming here for a long time- I found a girl that is very good, doesn't rush through & does a great job with shaping. I am a very anal person when it comes to shaping of my toes nails & the cleanliness of salons. The salon is ALWAYS clean & always smell fresh of cleaning supplies. The manager John is always mopping& cleaning in there when he is not busy. YUMI takes her time& does a great job! She really makes me feel wonderful when I leave! I travel all the way from the city & only go to her. If you have an issue - you just need to tell them, if you like particular shaping- show them a picture and ask if they can do it or who would be the best in there for the job- tell them& show them pictures of how you want it shaped. They're clean so I never worry about that there& YUMI is great!! Just go to her or ask for her & if she is busy- ask her who you can go to ... she does a proficient job! You will not be disappointed! Went here last week for a pedicure. The woman doing my toes definitely pushed my cuticles back too much. I felt a pain during my pedicure and she asked if I was ok, and I said yes because it passed quickly. But now my one toe is red, swollen, and hurts like hell. This is the only different thing I've done to me feet in the past week so it is definitely from the pedicure. I feel I may need to go to the doctors for it. I am very disappointed and will not be going back and will tell everyone I know to steer clear of this establishment. read more

I come here because they have a special on a pedicure and manicure if you have cash. It's usually the quickest and closest one around me but you get what you pay for. I usually have the manicure chipping within a day. There are some women there that are very nice, but speaking in a language I don't understand while I'm sitting in your chair, to me is rude and demonstrates the typical stereotype of a nail salon experience. The last experience I had, the woman used a different nail polish then what was on my feet and I didn't happen to notice until she was done. I apologized but wanted it fixed and she seemed very annoyed. I really liked the color and came back a few days later to see if I can find it to touch up my already chipping nails and no one would help me when they found out I wasn't getting anything done. I recently switched to DT from my normal salon because I felt like it wasn't clean, which turned out to be ironic because I got a pedicure before vacation last week and felt the guy that did it cut deep into my cuticle, definitely more than anyone has cut before and I regularly get pedicures. It was sore the day after but I didn't think anything of it, until I got to vacation in another country and my toe was swelled up like a balloon and was purple. Not to mention the worst pain I have felt in my life. Stuck in another country at a resort for 3 days, I bought medication from the convenience store on site, but without proper antibiotics, it got worse and spread throughout my foot and up my leg until the point that it was hard to walk and I couldn't fit my foot in my sneaker. I finally got home yesterday and had to be put on meds immediately. Still waiting to make sure I don't have to go to the ER, but I can't believe he so carelessly cut into my cuticle like that. I will never be back and hope other people see this and are cautious of pedicures in the future. read more

I wanted to try a new salon and I had a terrible experience because when the polish I picked was too light the manicurist blobbed on a third coat of a dark polish on top. There were cotton strands on my fingers which is a huge pet peeve that she painted over and when i asked her to remove it she scrubbed it off with no acetone. All the side of my fingers were missing nail polish and it was just so rushed and streaky that I rushed home to take it off. Never again! Had a pretty bad experience with this nail salon. First of all 90% of their nail polishes were at least half empty and a lot of them were dried out. I came in to get a full set done and they had mostly dark winter colors while it's June. That was very disappointing so whatever I chose a color and tried to make the best out of it I also chose a glitter nail polish for my ring finger. The girl who did my nails did an okay job until it came to my ring finger she added 3 glitters to each finger and then told me to go dry my nails? WHAT?! In what world is it okay to have 3 specks of glitter and think that's what I wanted. No I wanted her to spread out at least 10 glitter pieces so it at least looks decent. Anyway they give you a 3 second massage when u sit down to dry your nails! Idk what that's about, I mean if you're going to attempt to please your client at least give them a massage for one minute. I was a walk in on a Sunday afternoon for a pedi and gel mani and a polish for my 3 year old daughter. They were fairly busy for a Sunday so when we were asked to sit in the pedicure chairs and the tech went to eat lunch I was completely annoyed because I was still looking to see what color/design I wanted on my nails. But, she came back and made me feel completely rushed. When I asked her about a few different designs she said we don't do that, then when I showed her a simple one she said fine. What I picked had three colors. She took two that picked and when I mentioned the third color she was completely annoyed with me yelled something in another language to the other tech and said "3 colors I'll have to charge you$5 extra". Never heard that one before! I don't care if I wanted every nail a different color, it should cost any more for that. She cut me with the nail file, when she was removing the gel from my nails it was so painful I had to pull hand away for her. They charged me $18 to pain my 3 year old daughters nails and toes. Which by the way... peeled off that same night. I won't be back and will be sure to share my experience with others. When you are a service business that deals with the public, put a smile on and be nice. You aren't doing me a favor, I'm paying you. read more
