They get the job done but it's not anything super impressive. Some of the staff are very lovely while others are pushy. Facility can be cleaner, the pedicure chairs look like they haven't been wiped down for a while. They pressed too hard on my nail plate while removing/ cleaning up cuticles with their electronic file. This caused a dent, otherwise known as ring of fire, on my plate. This left many of my fingers in pain even two weeks later. I don't think it was necessary to use an electronic file on my natural nail plate. Best to come here during off hours since that's when they seem to be more attentive! But with the conditions my nails were left in I won't return. read more

I think they do a great job at this salon but I hate being upsold without anyone informing me of cost. I asked if they had purple sparkle dip powder and I was told they would use a top layer of sparkle. I wasn't told it would be $2.00 extra per nail. Leaving another review because I had an amazing experience here. If you go on the weekend, be prepared to wait a good hour. My advice is to make an appointment ahead of time. Cindy is my go to person for getting my nails done. She takes her time and is super attentive. They are very safe with Covid protocols, and it's extremely sanitary in general. I never worry about getting a fungus or an infection. I like this place, because they have great technicians and nail color options. The price is also super affordable for the area. I love that I can get a regular pedicure and a gel manicure for $55.00. The regular pedicure feels like a spa one, because the ladies use hot rocks and special soaps and lotions. The gel manicures are worth it, and my polish lasts for over a month!! It would last longer, but my nails get too long for personal preference. If you're debating on where to get your nails done, you should definitely go here! read more

I came here last year and had a pretty good experience overall so I revisited when I was back in town. The pedicure was ok, not much to note for that. However, when it came time to get my dip manicure done, I had explained what I wanted - a milky white/pink. After trying 2 different colors that were sheer, I could tell the nail tech was getting impatient with me and trying to force me to choose one of those colors. I pinpointed a specific OPI color I wanted to make it easier and she told me they had it in gel and could paint over the dip...then I see the bottle she's using it and it's not even the color I asked for. At this point I just wanted to be done so I let it go. Multiple times throughout my pedicure and manicure, she mentioned adding chrome to my nails despite me saying I did not want to add chrome. After she was done painting and I had said no to chrome at least 5x at that point, she pulled the chrome out. I told her she could try it on 1 nail just to see it but that I liked the color without the chrome. After trying 1 nail, she continuously tried to upsell me on the chrome even though I said multiple times I did not want chrome, I liked the way they looked normally, and did not want to change them. She replied with "yes, chrome looks normal" and started to try adding chrome to a 2nd nail. I had to AGAIN for probably the 10th time at this point tell her "I DO NOT WANT CHROME. NO CHROME." At first I thought it was the language barrier but there's no way it was misunderstood that many times. It was a classic attempt to upsell and get more money and was incredibly frustrating to have to repeat myself multiple times to be taken seriously. After leaving and getting a good look at my nails, I noticed the shape is entirely inconsistent, the cuticle line on the paint job is horrible, and within a day the gel started chipping. I never leave reviews and try to give the benefit of the doubt but the frustrating experience followed by the poor job done on my nails felt like it needed to be addressed. read more

Decided to try out a new salon based on the great reviews and I'm so glad I came in. I came in around 5PM on a Monday so it wasn't busy but I got a gel manicure done by Henry and he is amazing! He took his time and was extremely attentive and funny! I do my nail myself mainly due to them always being destroyed from working with my hands and constantly washing them to save some money but I stop by a salon once they reach a certain point because somethings you just can't get done yourself like cleaning up the hang nails and getting off the excess skin that comes off, etc... basically a nail refresh lol. Henry saved my nails and cleaned them up beautifully! He took his time and didn't rush it. He made feel welcomed while many salons tell you to pick a color and ignore you. I really wanted to like this place. I really did. The space itself is quaint, but clean and well decorated. The staff are all very friendly upon arrival and quick to help. As I was choosing colors, I initially decided on a nude color but my nail tech kept insisting on a darker color. I gave in after a while. And later, I soon discovered why she was so adamant about me choosing a darker color. I went in for a full gel set. She did not file my nails nor did she trim my cuticles. I felt so rushed. In the end, my nails were shaped poorly, some of them were even crooked!! The nails lifted after about 5 days, not to mention she decided to buff out my natural nails???? So they were damaged after the acrylic nails came off. It's been a month and my nails are still healing. Clearly, she wanted me to choose a darker color so she could do whatever the hell she want with my nails because it wouldn't show/be obvious that it was a rushed job. I mean, I get it. Ugh... I was super excited to have Lee for my ombré gel manicure. He attempted acrylic even though i specifically asked for gel. The second time i asked, he agreed. My manicure was non existent as the cuticle care was beyond poor. My nails are rough as they were not buffed only filed. I left with hard and dry cuticles. Super bummed about spending the $35. Overall the mani doesn't look bad from afar but up close the gel is sloppy. Update 4/21/2016 Came back to my favorite spot for another amazingly thorough gel manicure. I had previously went to another local nail salon and the quality of the other place compared to this place is not even up to par. The quality of this salon (A+) is so amazing and you just have to see it to believe it. It lasts so long and makes them so strong in the process, gel manicure to me feels like a full set when it gets long. SO AWESOME. if you come here it's worth every penny and every second. You will NOT regret it. Swear. Back again! He remembers my name and my life events.I got a gel manicure again. They sanded off the first couple layers of paint and then he used for foils to take off the rest. Then he did my manicure removing all of my cuticles doing a really good job. Then he painted my gel on with top-quality gel making sure he did even coats of every layer. When finished I got a paraffin wax coat on my hands making them soft. The paraffin wax is included with any gel manicure which is amazing. I really love coming here. The quality of service and product I receive every single visit. First time there today, and I was not let down by other reviews! Got a gel mani & gel pedi. They did such an amazing job. The shop was so nice and clean and decorated in such a relaxing way. They provide iPads for free as you get a pedicure and wifi as well. With a regular pedicure they give a nice massage including hot stones, so soothing! For when it was time to put the gel color on they have you put on gloves before painting to protect your skin when putting in the uv light machine. Such a great experience. The Zen of this place was amazing!! It was crowded at 10:55 am on a Wednesday morning but it didn't feel that way at all. I walked in, picked my color and sat right in the pedicure chair where hot water was waiting!! Very pleasant employees and iPads at every pedicure chair. The massage chairs were very comfortable. Also, they had me soaking my feet in cold water for over 35 min with no idea when someone would do my pedicure. I hate to write a negative review, especially of an independent/smaller business. The price is right. The service itself was good. The technician cut me during a pedicure. Didn't think it was necessary to say a word to me other than "oh this hurts?". Realized later that day that I had a big slice on my toe, which subsequently got infected. Thankfully, it wasn't staph (which I am prone to, especially with an immune disorder) but, I would think proper cleaning procedures and application of antibacterial ointment would have been the appropriate course of action. About halfway through the process she cut my finger with the electric tool and proceeded to do my nails. As I told her previously I'm in cosmetology school. Knowing that she should have realized how legal it is. Ovobiously they do not care about spreading infectious disease nor the care of the client. She had not asked me if I was okay, she proceeded to tell me "I cut myself all the time" and laugh it off. I asked the man who owns the place several times why people that arrived after me were being taken before me, especially since I had an appointment? He said he was sorry and I would be next. At 6:40, 2 HOURS AND 20 MINUTES after arrival it was time for a quick pedicure as they were closing in 20 minutes.
