The gel on my nails last longer than two weeks. The customer service is great,and the employees are so welcoming and have knowledge of the service they provide. You do need an appt,and while I used to walk in other salons and wait my turn,I now love the idea of having to make an appt. read more

The ladies were very nice and took me right away without an appointment but I've honestly had little cousins do a better job painting my nails at family parties. I asked for round and after two attempts, my nail shape is clearly square. The polish is uneven and was all over my nail beds. Skip this one if you have another option. read more

I must say that I never thought I would writing or words to write a negative review, but after many years of experimenting with Ella's, My experiences have become unpleasant enough to share. First, both owners I. Different ways are unwelcoming, articulate poorly and impatiently, have low tolerance for questions that arise because explanations are dismissive and unclear, and make what should be a pleasant experience tolerable at best. I'm not someone who comes in to chat with the owners or a tech; I tend to want my privacy and enjoy a book or a podcast. On a recent pedicure visit, I had more questions than usual (due mostly to my inability to understand the dismissive language (I am well versed in second language learners) and was advised at the End to book every three works as a panacea. When I tried to rebook (I hadn't had the chance to get names of other places in the area yet (I have now)..Calvin, one of the owners told me because a cancellation that happened three years ago (due to emergencies), I could only call a few days or a day in advance. When I questioned him about this, he had to laugh at his ridiculous response, and that was that.. I just left. I have servers really helpful recommendations that I'm sure will be a better fit, but I did want to warn that arrogance at Ella's nails results in a climate of unprofessionalism and a rather unpleasant experience. read more

Best tips and acrylic I have ever had. They were clean, organized and very very friendly. Only down side was there isn't an ATM or tips on the receipts but when I said I didn't have cash he said I could get him next time!!! We still tipped obviously but I've never had that happen before. My daughter and I have been to this salon a few times. We don't get our nails regularly but any time we do it's always an enjoyable time. My daughter is 10 and gets a gel mani/pedi and the nail techs treat her as well as they'd treat anyone else. Making sure the design she wants is just right etc. I usually get gel tips and they've lasted longer than any other tips I've gotten at different salons, not only to the nails stay on but even details like rhinestones have lasted and stayed in place for 2 weeks! Highly recommend this place, just be sure you make an appointment :) read more

I absolutely love to get pedicures here during the summer. The staff is always so friendly and the salon is very sanitary and clean. They do a great job polishing your nails and my polish lasts 2 weeks and sometimes longer. read more

Calvin & Ivy are absolutely the nicest nail salon owners I've ever met! I always had issues with the nail primer causing a reaction on my fingers due to the carelessness of other salons getting the primer on my skin, but that never happens here! They are super careful, efficient, and most importantly CLEAN. My favorite nail salon ever!! read more

The employees here seem very nice and friendly. I had the owner (Calvin) do my acrylic nails. He had to take a phone call in the middle of doing the nails (and he was only gone for maybe 2 minutes) but I just kind of wish he apologized for leaving, but he just kept doing the nails which is fine. I explained to one of the girls that I wanted a silver sparkly star on my ring fingers, but she thought I just wanted a sparkle nail, so when Calvin was painting, in I told him I wanted the star, but he just said that you wouldn't see a star on a sparkly nail; so I let it go. It was my fault that I didn't reference a picture to show what I wanted. The total for putting on a full set was only $35, I was SHOCKED! I was expecting the price to be much, much higher. The salon is very clean and they have relaxing music and nice images on the tv of flowers! They did not ask if I wanted to schedule a 2-3 week appointment for a refill, but I will call up later to schedule. read more

If you are a blue collar worker looking for a comfortable, relaxing, simple surroundings to be pampered don't go here. It is for the $$$ soccer Mom's, etc. I felt like an outsider entering an exclusive club and was treated as such. I am guessing because of my Vera Bradley handbag, sneakers and blue jeans instead of leggings, leather bots and high end designer name bags. I have been here 4 times for pedicures and have been very happy each time. Comfortable massaging chairs, efficient, friendly service whether I made an appt or just walked in. I have been treated the same in sweats or better clothing. I'll be back. read more

Calvin and his staff are the best! They are very hygienic. For pedicures they put a disposable lining in the tub. For manicures they have over 100 sets of tools so they can sterilize them properly for each client. Calvin came from a high end salon in downtown Philadelphia. Him and his staff are very sweet. They even fixed my moms gel manicure for free! She was picking a label off of something and so polish came off. No questions asked, they fixed it for her. Love Ella's.
