The salon is respectful of your time and does not double and or triple book their stylists so you are able to get in and out within a reasonable amount of time, receive quality service and not feel ignored or rushed. There have been times when stylists have moved on and the front desk staff made every effort to ensure I was paired with a stylist who specialized in working with curly hair. The owners have worked hard to provide an upscale and relaxed experience that is consistent. The salon is clean, calming and soothing without the threat of children / pets destroying the environment. Please be aware before booking your appointment - Salon L is not a daycare center so if you're asked to remove a disruptive situation, please understand the request - as I personally don't want to be forced to endure the pain. A simple "I understand" or "Please let us know if you'd like to reschedule" would have been appropriate. Instead, I received a dismissive and unnecessarily rude response that left me feeling unwelcome. Based on this interaction, I wouldn't feel comfortable booking with this business again. Professionalism and respect should be part of the customer experience, even when a client has to cancel unexpectedly.

I was very pleased with his communication and thoroughness as we made arrangements for promotion, marketing, payment, and logistics. On the day of the event, I met with him and his helper and everything fell into place. Part of the arrangement we had for using the space was that I could be a participant in the event. This was absolutely my good fortune. Kyle is a soft-spoken communicator, but was completely able to keep the attention and engagement of the 16 participants. More importantly, he has a tremendous ability to help people move past some of their blocks, particularly guilt and shame, so they can really get in touch with themselves. And that is perhaps the most important part of dealing with intimacy in interpersonal communication. I've participated in numerous tantra, intimacy, and sex-positive events, including week-long retreats. Kyle's is easily among the best, particularly among shorter sessions. I found myself learning, getting in touch with some of my own stuff, and finding myself aroused, stimulated, and engaged.
