We…read moretried the 6D massage chairs which were very cool- wrapping your whole body and then choosing a massage program where rollers and air pockets help get to every part of your body for relaxation. The options vary in intensity and you can try different ones so that was fun checking out the different speeds and spins of the machinery to my body. It took a bit of getting used to but definitely felt in the relaxed zone by the end. The receptionists were great to get you signed in- they have 6 chairs and a group was just leaving as we came in so worked out great for us, but if you want to be safe check online and reserve a spot! I liked seeing the saunas are meant for 1 or 2 people at a time so you'll have that all to yourself as well. The bathroom and showers seemed well appointed and a great rainfall showerhead. The whole space is well planned for relaxation without feeling like a car wash. I think their current offering of membership options still too pricy unless you really will be around 2 times a week (maybe worth it if that's your only you-time!) but their one off prices are still pretty reasonable and I would happily return and bring friends!

It's a great space and the staff here is incredible - friendly, helpful, and explained everything super clearly. The great: + Cute smoothie and juice bar for you to enjoy after your sauna session. + Convenient Old City location. + Sweet touches like writing names on a sign to welcome you, essential oil wipes, ample towels, etc. + The sauna itself is as good as it gets for this kind of experience. Super clean facility and they take a lot of pride in the space. The less great: + I would find it hard to justify the cost of membership with so many clubs around town offering saunas as part of their full gym experience. A 45 minute sessions for two was ~$119. + There was no working remote for us the day I was there to update the infrared lights. Not a huge deal but something that is a key part of the sauna experience not working might turn future customers off. + The plug in for your phone also was really spotty and the speakers kept going in and out. We ended up ditching it and going for silence instead. + Both the sauna space and space outside of the sauna is too small for two people. Overall if you're a sauna enthusiast with lots of discretionary income, OR you're just looking for a new way to escape the winter blues - this is a great option here in Philly.

I've convinced my husband, friends, and even some of my husbands friends to come. Every time I leave a sauna session I feel absolutely amazing, and it certainly helps to have a smoothie waiting for you when you're done! I usually do the 30 minute session and I bring the remote in to cycle through all of the infrared light colors. The smoothie options are soo good and I love that they offer seasonal blends too- always something new to try.

This hidden gem was featured in a Best of Philadelphia magazine for August 2025. I finally got to…read moretry it and the owners give you a very personalized sauna experience- both hot and cold. The massage chairs are AI generated. This is some top of the line equipment and you should try it out just to try it out even if you aren't into saunas or even if you get a freebie from another sauna company. They did much research and instruct you how to use the various devices. I had never done a polar bear plunge before. As close to too cold as I have done in wearing 3-4 layers in Montreal and still being cold in -13 degrees Fahrenheit in January 2024. I stayed in the cold plunge maybe for 15 seconds. I could've stayed in longer but I was like eh when I was given the option. The sauna, when I went in, it was completely relaxing to me. I had done saunas before albeit not regularly. The sauna at Media's Edge Fitness, one in the city, and Iceland. Nothing can replace the naturalness of Iceland. So the transition for me to deal with the heat was no big deal for me. If you walk on a non-rainy day, bring sun tan lotion. Make sure you have swimming trunks to change into and having water beforehand could be helpful. Bring a book with you for the sauna portion. The entrance to this place is technically the door with the old lodge sign on top but if you go through the Jiu Jitsu door, it is not a big deal. I would go back again. It was different for me but a lot of fun!
