Best gel manicure that I've ever had! So sad that I didn't discover this place earlier. At $30, I thought it was a pretty good price for what you get based on my experience at visiting other places on the main line. She did such a great job shaping my nails, getting the polish on nicely (w/o bumps or chips) and cleaning up my cuticles. I loved the massage. She used a hot rock which felt so relaxing. They have a lot of great specials which I would definitely take advantage of - $10 manicure during their morning hours. I would come back if I wasn't moving away! I highly recommend this place!! read more

I stopped in yesterday to for a pedicure and was happy that they took walk-ins. Was greeted with a smile and taken immediately to a chair. The salon was clean and peaceful. The pedicure was top of the line, complete with a hot stone massage and quality polish. I received a nice shoulder massage while my nails were drying and was so impressed, I even signed up for the customer loyalty program. Pedicure was $40 with a $10 tip which is great for this area. I will be back! read more

Lousy service, the truth is that I would not recommend it. Lousy customer service. I had a regular pedicure, but before I had asked the girl what was the difference between a spa pedicure and a regular pedicure and she told me it was just the massage. Then I don't clean my nails, I don't file them as I should and I paint them and I don't finish cleaning them. read more

Aroma is under new ownership! Although I'm sad not to see Susan the owner anymore the same impeccable team now work for Carolina. The gel manicure she gave me was flawless. The salon renovations are crisp and refreshing. Even after 10 years, this remains my go to nail salon. read more

I have been going to aroma nails for the past 13 years. My daughter, my husband and I went in this week for pedicures, and when I went to pay, the owner would not honor my gift certificate because it was bought from the previous owner. I explained that we have been coming here for a long time and asked her to honor the gift certificate this one time, but she refused and told me that this wasn't her problem and that I should call the previous owner and ask for my money back if I was upset about it. Seems like terrible business sense to lose three repeat customers over this, but owner was rude and unphased. read more

I had an incredible, very relaxing spa pedicure and manicure at Aroma Nails & Spa today. Carolina the manager was outstanding. She gives the best massage I have ever had. She and all the staff are very professional and kind. Hands down best manicure and pedicure I have ever had on the main line! Villanova students are so lucky to live right next door. read more

In need of a quick gel manicure before a vacation, I had gone to Aroma to get my nails done. Would I come here again? Probably not but why? The atmosphere: it's a good sized spot with a few seats for your nails done as well as foot basins to get pedicures. The place itself has no real aesthetic but kind of a generic interior with nothing noteworthy. I did take notice that there were only a couple of waiting chairs available for customers. The service: The lady I had to do my nails never spoke to me and just did them without much of my input. I had asked to have 2 colors painted to which she scoffed and started rapidly chatting to her co-worker in a language I didn't understand. She didn't pay me much attention which was fine I went on my phone. However, I noticed that the tools being used were not coming from sterile areas but from small plastic trays. The file had nail residue from likely another person's nails which is pretty gross. The nail dryer was messy with some knicks and nail polish on it. When it was done I was mostly shooed away. The reason I gave this place 2-stars is that the manicure lasted a few weeks without chipping and I was done pretty quickly. Despite that, I'm unlikely to return. read more

the quality was okay. it is a little pricy for what you're getting. we had two manicures and pedicures, no appointments. we were there for about 3 hours, so we recommend making an appointment. the water was cold from the start in the pedicure spot and when i asked her to warm it up she put her fingers in the water and said it's warm. (i was like uhhh clearly not.) i'm a very patient person so this experience was meh but not for everyone! read more

Came in for a dip removal and a regular manicure. Gina was great and gave me the student discount the total came to $23. My nails were very weak under the dip that was part of the reason I wanted to get them removed, it was damaging my nails. She was very gentle with my natural nails and let me sample 2 colors before deciding on one. read more

I randomly popped into Aroma to get a manicure and pedicure - I have never been here before. Excellent service, took their time and the end product was exactly what I wanted! Absolutely IN LOVE with my nails, Susan never disappoints. I showed her a reference photo and she copied it exactly. She took her time and it paid off because these are absolutely perfect. I also received a massage at the end. My only complaint is that these were a bit pricey, I paid 90 for the full set with French tips and a design when I originally thought it was going to be 65. But still, great quality and friendly staff. read more

I was in town for a wedding and chose Aroma from the other reviews I read. It was a very pleasant experience. It's well run and when I returned three days later to have my regular mani touched- up, they kindly performed it complimentary. read more

Kids loved all their manicures. Thank you. Fast and efficient. Great colors. Awesome with kids and highly recommend.

I was in town for work for the week and needed a manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was great. She spent a ton of time giving me a massage after cleaning up my nails. Very friendly and professional. The nail polish selection was ridiculous. Every Esse color available. I just did a classic manicure, not gel. I was very happy with my results. While nails were drying she did a great neck and shoulder massage too! I'd recommend this spot to anyone. read more

Went here for a mani-pedi with my mom and sister the morning before a wedding. I had called ahead for an appointment, but since we were there early in a Saturday morning we had the place to ourselves. The place was immaculately clean and did not smell at all the nail polish or chemicals. The pedicure seats were comfortable and the technician set our stuff aside in a handy basket. The first part of the pedicure was amazing- there was not any painful picking or ripping, the message was the longest and best I had ever gotten with a pedicure, and she even ended with hot stones! It was so relaxing, I was tempted to ask for a longer reflexology massage that was advertised on the wall for an added fee, but really the standard pedicure here out shined many other more expensive and "deluxe" ones I have had elsewhere. I asked for French tips on both my toes and fingers, and it was the fasted I have ever seen someone do because she did not have to go back with remover to fix the line- she made them perfect the first time. The same lady then took me over to the nail station for the manicure. Again, great message, not as long as the legs but defiantly enjoyable. I also appreciated that she asked if I would like round or squared nails- so many places just start filling. Just like my toes, the French manicure was expertly put on in no time at all. While we waited by the nail drying table (the airy type, not the creepy blue light) my technician gave me a nice five min shoulder massage. The technicians had us sit in the drying area for a long time, insisting that we make sure our hands were totally dry before leaving so they would not get messed up. In conclusion, the attention by the technicians at this place is fantastic, something you would expect from a fancy expensive spa, and is really an amazing value. For all the massage goodness the standard mani-pedi was only $45, with a few extra bucks for French and a student discount for my sister. I wish I had a great little spa like this close to home! read more

I have been here before and had anok experience, my acrylic nails broke after 2 weeks, however today I went in with a friend and received terrible service. First of all the lady made me bleed in 2 places and I left with both of them burning. Second she told me the polish costs extra AFTER she had already applied it. I will not be going back nor would I recommend. read more

I previously left a 3 star review and would like to now change that. I came to aroma once again only this time for a gel manicure. The manicurists name was Susan and she did a phenomenal job. Not only is the gel beautiful but she gave a ridiculously amazing massage, even using a hot stone, while I was sitting under the curing light. Her attention to detail really impressed me and I was in and out in about 30 minutes. Much better experience here this time. read more

Whoever is giving this place 5 star reviews must be tripping.. Went based on the great reviews to try something new. Ambiance was terrible- think posters taped to walls, old sofa in front, polishes set up on top of some old table. Not very inviting or clean looking. No particular "aroma" here either. To top it off- The lady who did my nails used tools that had been sitting in her tray- not tools that had been sanitized! Plus another employee kept placing my purse in a plastic container which I don't understand why. STAY AWAY.. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!! Ugh.. Terrible. read more

How you could write a 5 star review for this place is beyond me. I left the nail salon with four of my cuticles cut and bleeding. Even with the student discount I had to pay $70 for 2 hours of pain and worrying about whether they were doing the nails that I actually wanted. The nail techs seem to love to take creative liberty with their customers' nails even when the customer is visibly upset by their choices. Do not go here. read more

Whoever said this place was 5 stars is lying. This was AWFUL. It was so insanely expensive for some of the worst nails I have ever gotten. My one friend walked out crying and the other had four fingers bleeding. The tools and stations were disgusting and nail clippings were everywhere. The one owner is lovely but the rest of the workers were rude and standoffish. I will never be going back. Terrible. read more

Aroma Nails is not only the best nail salon on the Main Line but also that I have ever been to. I drive 30 minutes to get my nails done here and have been a customer since 2013 so for 8 years. Susan is so passionate about her business and she not only makes sure that you leave there with perfect nails but they also give you the most thorough massage during your experience. Most nail salons just want to get you in and out but at Aroma, they make every part of the experience amazing. They are so sweet and hard-working and the salon is extremely clean (first thing I look at when I walk into a nail salon). I am constantly telling people to go here and can not speak more highly of Aroma Nails!!! read more

Aroma is the best nail salon around. It's never ridiculously crowded, too loud, or full of nasty chemical smells. They always have the food network on mute and play relaxing classical music, which is so nice. The girls working there have a very calming presence and are super sweet. The quality of their work is the best on the main line. read more

I never give reviews but I will for this place. I have been here couple times and the first time, the older man did my nails and they were already chipped the next day. Called and they got upset because I wanted it redone. Oh well. Maybe do a stellar job. Next, the othe guy Vince used a dryer that barely dried my nails and again nails chipping. Then went to Tammy, who did a good job at the beginning until last week when I got a mani done and let's say she was so rough pulling the cuticle that it started to bleed. She is so lucky I didn't sue and still paid. The nails were chipped the next day. You don't have to be rough on peoples nails just to do a good job. Its ridiculous. If you want a pedicure, yea, they do an okay job but it depends on who does it. Good luck!. I hope you don't do it to someone else because they may not be nice like I was. read more

Do not come here for acrylics. I'm a college student and I don't have a lot of money to splurge on nails. Worst nails I have ever gotten. They're all different shapes and sizes and the acrylic is WAY too thin. I left before she painted them so I could go get them fixed somewhere else. Waste of $55 read more

Never in my life have I walked out of a nail salon mid-manicure. I'm disgusted. I have been to this place one other time 1.5 years ago and noticed nothing out of the ordinary. Today was a different story. When the tools were taken out of the sterilizer, (they weren't in a sealed plastic pouch like most places do it) as she was cutting my cuticles I saw the tray that the tools came out of and the napkin in there was filthy dirty with multiple dirty finger nail clippings from someone else. My nails were short so she only filed them. That napkin and those nail clippings were old and nasty. I pointed it out to the technician and she didn't seem to think it was a big deal. It was gross. I question the cleanliness and how truly sanitary this nail salon is. Never coming back. I wish I had taken a photo. It was really a sight and not one a pretty one. read more

Great mani and pedi for my daughter and me! Many thanks for a great, professional experience. We recommend trying Aroma Nails!

Arguably the worst nail salon experience of my life. Came with three other girls, all left before their treatments were finished because of how poor the service was. They did not take into account anything we said about the style of our nails, and would not listen to any feedback or requests. One of us ended up bleeding from over-cutting, and the other got her nail broken. Definitely not returning. read more

This nail salon is great. My daughter and I both got mani's. I went well over 10 days without a chip in my nail (I was my hands a lot) the neck message was on time in the women were super nice. FYI; This place is located next to a pizza shop & a tiny strip, parking can get pretty tight. read more

I visited this nail salon while visiting a friend in Pennsylvania and fell in love (it was her first visit too). I don't get my nails done that often, maybe once or twice a year, but the mani/pedi I had here was a total treat. The service was extremely warm and attentive, and above and beyond my expectations. We both enjoyed amazing massages while our hands and feet were under the dryers. Another plus: the salon smelled nice--nothing chemical wafted my way when I entered, and the products had pleasant scents too: Aroma is aptly named. read more
