I've gone to Tracy since I was in high school and I honestly love her. She is not only extremely talented, but professional and friendly as can be. Every time I go there I am blown away to how amazing my nails not only look, but how they last. I'll never go to anyone else for dip powder nails or acrylics. She is truly a step above the rest. read more

I am usually pretty picky about my nails, but I decided to go somewhere different. Overall, the place was kept clean and there was no wait.. (even for a Saturday afternoon) My technician was super sweet and always made sure my nails were to my liking. Im planning on coming back in a couple weeks!! read more

I couldn't tell if the technician was rushed because of Covid-19 or just didn't care... but this was my first pedicure and the whole experience was rather lackluster... the whole process felt extremely rushed, she didn't allow my nails time to dry at all and rushed me out of the establishment, and they smudged off.. which I know is my fault but I couldn't just stand in the parking lot until they dried... the edges were messy and had the nail polish was lumpy?? But on the plus side, the place was clean and nice looking. Just wish my first pedicure was a better experience. read more

So nice to be back at the nail salon after Covid-19. I've been going to Nail a la Mode for more than 20 years and highly recommend them. Tracy is my nail therapist. She does an amazing job. She's friendly and kind and a great nail tech. Tracy has become like family. Kim is the owner. She maintains a beautiful, clean shop with a home feeling. I've seen other nail techs on occasion when Tracy has been away and they have all done a wonderful job. I have several friends who come here and family from out of town always want an appointment when they are visiting. If you want to treat yourself or just maintain your nails, Nail a la Mode is the place. read more

This is the best nail salon in the area. The salon is clean and organized. The staff is friendly and professional. I would recommend the salon highly. I came in as a walk-in with no appointment and was greeted and welcomed. The manicurist was professional and did a great job with my pedicure. My feet have never looked this great! read more

I have been coming to Nail a la Mode for almost a year now. And I absolutely love this Nail Salon. The decor is very chic and they are always up-to-date on their trends; they always have new nail polish colors to try to meet everyone's desires... from seasonal colors to bold and sparkly. I prefer Helen out of all the Nail Technicians because she takes pride in her work. It's hard to understand her sometimes because her English is not the best. However, her broken English does not affect her quality of work. Stop on in and and see for yourself, but make sure you ask for Helen:) read more

So the piggies were a mess. Need a pedi. Checked reviews and this was the place to go . . . Supposedly. Their message chairs leave a LOT to be desired. I think they put a cheap back massager on the things and called it a day. The massage was decent, but nothing special. The paint is pretty and well done. But there was very little done to the bottoms of my feet - a few scrapes with the razor and 8 (yes, I counted on the second foot) light passes with the pumice stone. Done. No attention to the sides of the big toes and little to the backs of the heels. And there were 3 other customers in the shop, and 2 add'l attendants free. I did like the music they had going, relaxing. Seemed clean. cant really say it was bad, but just lack-luster services. I'll try somewhere else next time. read more

All the nail technicians here are amazing! I walked in about 30 minutes before closing to get a quick gel Medicare and everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. Everytime I come in to get my nails done I've always walked out happy and relaxed! They are the best and I highly recommend all the nail technicians at this salon! Looking forward to my next appointment in 2 weeks! read more

Really awful experience. The person doing my nails was going to quickly to get the job over with. When she was trimming my cuticles she was going so fast and carelessly that I started bleeding twice. My gel nails have also started chipping (3 days after getting them done...). Waste of time and money. Avoid. There are probably many better places. read more

I went to nail all a mode because my nail place couldn't take us aplace couldn't take us my daughter got a $35 pedicure and they didn't even scrape her feet she said the worst she ever got and I went and got a gel manicure the lady asked me if I wanted my nails cut down I said no because I was trying to grow them out she knew I wanted my nails rounded and she did a great job she painted my nails so many times that they are thick and didn't go all the way to the end and then file them again and they are the shortest nails I've ever had read more

I love! Love! Love! this place. I will never go anywhere else. Susan is the only one who is allowed to do my nails ever. She is so detailed and takes so much pride in her job. She is such a hard worker. If you are a regular they all greet you by name and make you feel so welcomed. Susan knows that I go in every month for my manicure and pedicure. I always schedule my appointment with her in advance. She knows what water temperature I like, what colors I enjoy, offers me something to drink and is so personable. When I get my gel manicure it will last a good 3 weeks. The business is always very well cleaned. It can get pricey but I'd rather pay more and have someone take their time and whom has good customer service then go somewhere and be another simple number. read more

I paid $45 for a less than average pedicure. There was no moisturizing of my feet; they are dry as sandpaper less than an hour after leaving, and I already have chips in the polish. I felt rushed, and there was no drying time. My nail technician had a lovely personality and was very friendly, but she put my flip flops on me, sprayed Quick Dry on my toes, and sent me away. I don't plan to return. read more

As a man, getting any kind of nail service can feel a little awkward. The ladies at Nail a la Mode make you feel extremely comfortable and always provide the absolute best service. The owner Kim is almost always there and makes sure you are well taken care of. This is an establishment that I will continue to frequent as long as I can!! read more

Just moved to the area and was so thrilled to have a nail salon so close to my new house and I went in on a Monday afternoon around 4pm and they told me they were closed and couldn't take me. And ok that's fine, I can see if you guys need to close early a day, whatever, but when I was walking out a nice looking woman came in without an appointment and they took her. Like ok clearly it was something about my appearance bc there was no reason not to take me. And they missed out too bc I tip very well! Won't be going here. And if you want to I suggest you call and book the appointment ahead of time! read more

I just attempted to do a walk-in for a broken acrylic. The manager was all prepared to help me until she heard it was only for a repair and not a full set. The smile disappeared and she very rudely turned her back on me, saying, "very busy, no time". Well, it looks like I have "no money" to give you. If I could give negative stars, I would. read more

Went here on a Sunday pm to get a manicure/pedicure at the recommendation of two people and was very pleasantly surprised. The shop was not crowded and I waited less than 5 minutes. Great selection of OPI products, not like other salons in the area. Helen did a wonderful job on both my hands and feet, great attention to detail. I will go again and take advantage of their Tuesday special as well as recommend them to others. Fantastic walk-in service and an excellent job for what you pay. read more

Oh no. It's going to be a bad place to relax, because after I get my nails done and on the way out I heard 3 or 4 people sitting outside talking about someone in this nail salon cheating on someone husband. I have to look for another place. read more

I have to disagree with the other reviewers. I've always had a good experience here. Ok, it's not Elizabeth Arden Red Door. But its priced right, convenient and your nails look pretty when you leave. Yes, the staff is Vietnamese and I am sure some folks have communication challenges, but for the most part the ladies here are efficient and pleasant. Cindy has done my nails since 2004 and she is a sweetheart. read more

Love love love this nail salon...everything from the beautiful decoration and soothing music to everyone there making u feel welcomed right when you come in. I've had the pleasure to work with a couple of people but inevitably stayed with Tracy. I didn't want to keep acrylic anymore so i transitioned to dip powder and let me tell you ...I will never go back. My nails have grown sooo much and added bonus : they have soooo many colors to choose from, Whatever fits my mood at the time. I haven't tried the pedi here but seeing the clientele come in just for that I'm sure it's great ! If you're in town or looking for a new place i highly recommend it! read more

I agree with the other reviews. I went here because my friend invited me, but I left so upset. The staff was extremely rude and mean. The woman who was doing my nails was in the worst mood ever. After painting each nail, she would shove my finger away with force. After I said told her she was being a little rough, she rolled her eyes. I was in shock. I don't see how they are still in business. I will never be going back here again. read more

The staff was very rude to my gf, they seemed annoyed that she came 40 min before closing and during the middle of the manicure made her pay. They were very vague with pricing. Overall bad experience. She will not be coming back. read more

Susan is excellent, she is meticulous and careful. However, this place is a little pricey. You are paying for the fancy decor. The owner is the least friendly staff member. Another customer told me the staff pays for their equipment out of pocket. Is this customary? read more

Not really impressed w this place. There were no signs for prices. I got a pedicure which was $33!!! I asked for a Hibiscus flower, the nail tech didn't really put an effort into the design. $5 for the desgin so it was $38 total just for pedicure-didn't really scrub or massage my feet just a few touches here and there. She also used a hand held asian fan to air dry my nails!!! First time here & will be my last. I gave two stars bc it's nice inside however, the nail tools were not in packages but soaked in the alcohol container. read more

Nail A La Mode - Not really impressed w the nail art. Pedicure was $33 nail Design $5 total was $38. - Nail Salons Near Me - Springfield, Virginia

It was our first time going to this place and it was the LAST one. First, we arrived to the place around 7:50, but we told them that we could come back tomorrow. They did not understand what we were saying , and they NEVER told us about extra charges. The massage was decent but the attention was bad. Two members of the staff were yelling at us and doing something we didnt even asked for. Save your money and go to a better place! read more

This place is ok. Went in the middle of the afternoon during the week with a friend for pedicures and they fit us in. However, we both felt like they rushed us. No leg/foot massage like many other places, they got nail polish on two of my toes and they didn't wipe it off....the whole pedicure seemed quick. Also, the massage chairs don't really massage, just vibrate. They didn't have their tools in sterilized packages either, just in a cup with blue sterilization chemicals. It was $30 for the pedicure, so I don't think I will be going back. read more

This place is one of the best kept secrets; I am only willing to share because I am that impressed. I have been going to Tracy for about two months now and she is wonderful. She takes her time to make sure you get exactly what you want and are happy with the finished product. I have gotten so many compliments on my nails and how natural they look for SNS! read more

This was the worst manicure and pedicure I've had in my entire life. And I'm not saying that to be dramatic. The lady rushed through both the entire time, she barely massaged my feet or my legs and she missed important parts of the manicure i.e. just basic pushing my cuticles back and to top it all off it was $50! Normally when I get a manicure and pedicure combo it really cost more than $40 with tip, this was the worst experience I've ever had! I so wish I could get my money back. read more

I've been here more then once and found my treatment nice. The times I've gone have not been very busy so I didn't have to wait for my services. The pedicure chairs are comfy and their polish collection is substantial. I also like the fact they use personal size fans to dry your manicure because you can sit on their comfy couches for a while instead of a hard uv lamp bench. Would come back again read more

Had a lovely first visit here for a manicure! I had tired, dry winter hands and looked forward to a dry-skin-cuticle clean out more than anything! Opted for a gel manicure. Decor and ambiance is above par! Clean and crisp with a lovely digital fire along the back. Not cluttered and no pictures of long, outdated nail styles on the walls. Kim was lovely and I enjoyed chatting with her! My MOST favorite finding was ZOYA polish! That's a top-five-chemical free made in the USA polish that I use with my girls! Big plus for this mama and future mani/pedis with my girls :) read more

I don't know why this place has a poor rating. I didn't have any issues with the staff. Service can vary from person to person though. I was looking to get my pedicure done while I studied my notes for a test and that's what happened. She did an amazing job and so I got what I expected. read more

I wanted to like this place. It's overpriced and the nails didn't last at all. The atmosphere is lovely, but the gel manicure I pay $32 for elsewhere was $39 here, and it had all peeled off in less than a week. This place was terrible they did my nails and the nail polish got all over my skin as if a 5 year old did it.could've went to dollar tree and brought nail polish and asked my sister to do it that's how bad it is and they couldn't even bother to clean it up when they had all the stuff to clean it right there I would have put 0 stars if I could. I removed it immediately and $20 waisted. Save your money! DONT COME HERE! I LOST 20 BUCKS TO THIS SHITTY SALON! I was so sad after because I has just wasted money. Plus the company in there sucks! They talk about u to other employees in Korean or Chinese and u just know that they are saying something bad about u! read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!!! If I could, I'd give -5 Stars. They were very rude and pushy. I wanted to treat my sister and take her to get her nails done. I got a mani (gels) and pedi and she got a regular mani. I asked when we first went in if I'd be able to use the $40 mani and pedi deal and just pay the difference for the gels and they said yes, but when it was all said and done they didn't do that and it was $70!! Plus $15 for my sister. The nail tech I got was very rude and I felt like I couldn't enjoy the experience. Right when we got there they rushed us and separated my sister and I which sucked because I wanted to pick a color first. Then she got mad at me because I didn't have a color yet. Then when I went back to pick one she actually HIT me on my arm. When I asked for one more coat, she was fighting me saying my nails were fine and i didn't need it.... but I didn't think they were opaque enough and I'm PAYING! She wasn't paying attention to my nails and just talking to her coworkers. I was getting fed up. Any request I asked for was denied and anything I did or asked for she ALWAYS had something to say and then would speak in her native language and was obviously talking about me because she was getting more visibly upset. And i was getting more and more dissatisfied. This was the first time I went and will be the LAST time. I usually always tip, even if I didn't like the service, but today was the worst I've ever had anywhere and after they lied to me about how much it would cost (it came out to $85) I decided she did not deserve a tip. Not to mention the nails didn't even come out very well at all. The polish around my cuticles was completely uneven and jagged. I can't believe I had to pay for this experience. DO NOT COME HERW!! read more

I have been coming to this salon for 11 years. I love the staff and the service. Make an appointment for good service. If you walk-in you may be turned away or rushed. It's not because they are rude, it is because they are busy. I am surprised about the number of people who complain about them speaking Vietnamese to each other...it's their language and they are not speaking to you. They are always looking for ways to make the atmosphere more relaxing...new chairs, new lighting, fake wall fireplace, holiday decorations etc. It is a very relaxing experience...so please call ahead and you wont feel snubbed. read more
