SPACE: Primely located within Larimer, the unassuming exterior, leads to a dimly intimate, yet colorful space - highlighting graffiti art, snowboarding and chill vibes. A variety of seating options are available for parties of all sizes. Mom and I snagged a table with a pleasant view of the entire space and where the magic happens - aka the kitchen! SIPS: We opted to sip on the local soda brand offered - Rocky Mountain Soda Co, and thoroughly enjoyed their version of Diet Cola. Soda and a few beers are also offered. SERVICE: It's an order at the counter and wait for your name to be called kind of spot, so we did just that. The various people we encountered throughout our visit were insanely friendly, welcoming and offered conversation, which made the experience even more fun. SUSENTANCE: The reason for being here. The menu offers 2 items - burgers and fries and is a no-frills kind of place, so come hungry and ready to feast. Each burger features a double smash wagyu beef patty, cheese, pickles and jalapenos, sauteed onions - smothered in their special sauce! The burger rings in at $15+ each but for the quality of ingredients and quantity, it's well worth the price! The fries are offered as OG regular or Beast Mode - aka - loaded with chopped pickles and jalapenos, special sauce and cheese. We opted for the loaded fries, because YES PLEASE - and found them to be the best part of the meal. Because they are fried in duck fat, the crispiness of the fries is unmatched! So rich, greasy and delicious! The burger was very good as well - gooey, greasy and dripping from all the right places - and the first bite was delicious. But the sweet and tangy taste from the jalapenos and pickles threw me right off and I couldn't shake the taste from my mouth. Pics online looked convincing enough- that cheese looked just right in the photos beforehand. In person however it just tasted like flour, had the texture of flour paste.. I'm sure they use it as a thickening agent but everything just tasted and had the mouth feel of flour paste. Sauce on the loaded fries? Flour. Probably the worst $16 burger we've ever had, buns were also all burnt hard but we made due and peeled the tops off. That would have meant nothing if the burger had been good! If you're not a smash burger snob you might like it. Our group thought it was overpriced and over rated for a super duper sub par burger. Today after having horrible service at a nearby restaurant that my girlfriend and I walked out of we then stumbled into NADC. When walking in the smell of the beef hits you. We both ordered burgers and fries. I had the monster fries and she had the regular fries. The burger had a great flavor and the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. The food was just not worth the price! I understand they are located down in the high rent district but definitely could be a fair price. A very boring and plain inside, especially for being in Larimer Square. The menu was very small - which I love, so much better than being overwhelmed. You are coming here for a cheeseburger, and it is pretty good. No frills, well cooked double beef patty with some American cheese. The fries on the other hand, they are not my favorite style. Been to the OG one in Austin and this one does not skip a beat. When places start blowing up like NADC, and move to multiple cities, you usually get less quality. That is NOT the case with NADC. This was fire!! Just as good as the first time I had it in Austin. This location is great big enough to carry a large amount of people inside and also a massive patio to sit. Excellent burger and terrific fries! The burger is not quite a smash burger, but has smaller patties that maximize the grill surface area. Doubling up the patties makes the meat the star and it is delicious. The burger is meaty while also being perfectly proportioned; simple sauce, just the right amount of cheese, and onion/pickle/jalapeno? mix making this extremely flavorful. The double fried fries are extra crispy and delicious. The animal style is worth the price upgrade, but the fries on their own would be great. They have a slightly Smokey ketchup, not sure if house made, that is great with the crispiness. Tasty beers on tap. Laid back environment. There is nothing not to like here. Burger was VERY GOOD, it had the nice lace edge I've been dreaming about. The flavor was bomb. The meat was perfectly cooked and the onions they put on the burger were delicious. The jalapeños had the perfect amount of spice and weren't too crunchy or too soft, they were just great. The fries were battered and crunchy. A couple things to note that don't impact the review at all but are things I would have liked to know: - the ketchup isn't your typical ketchup, it's a bit smoky and more briny than a typical ketchup BUT I was a fan - the special sauce doesn't taste like a typical special sauce, it's slightly sweet/tangy and I thought it was yummy and refreshing to try a new burger sauce (most special sauces taste the same) - the pickles aren't my favorite, they're typical cheap burger shop pickles rather than homemade but I would just request the burger with no pickles personally. One burger offering that comes with 2 patties & house toppings. Call me a traditionalist but I like having a lettuce & tomato contrast in my burgers. Would like to at least have an add on option. These are some of the BEST burgers I've ever had. THEY WERE SOO JUICY and FULL of flavor. I LOVE PICKLES , JALAPEÑOS, and caramelized ONIONS . 3 of my FAVORITE things and AALLL in a burger. Got a chance to check out this new burger spot in Larimer Square, downtown, and thought it was great! I like that there are only two options to get: burger and fries. They only have two things that they are making, and do it well. I thought the burger was excellent. It tasted a little different than a usual burger you would get, in a good way. It was definitely more of a meaty flavor, which speaks to the quality/freshness of the meat. I also thought the jalapeños were a great add. Goes really well with the burger and added good flavor, but was not overpowering or too spicy. Thought the fries were great too. They opened a week ago so there were a few things that weren't perfect that I assume will get ironed out. The ordering/pickup system is a little bit unorganized. There is a small table to the left of the cashier, and it isn't quite clear to stand behind it while waiting, as they run food back and forth between there and the kitchen, and got in the way in between. All of the trays are on this table, and it isn't labeled between clean and dirty trays. I put my try in the clean pile and someone came and corrected it. There were also condiment bottles on the table that were unlabeled, that I assumed were burger and sauce and ketchup based on color. It would have been nice to know exactly what I was taking, especially since it was not a name brand ketchup - this had spices/seasonings that were visible in the ketchup and tastes different than one you would normally see out (in a good way in my opinion). It made me do a double take to make sure that what I actually got was ketchup, since the bottle wasn't labeled. And lastly, the water was turned off while I was there, apparently, and the water dispenser ran empty, so did not have water to drink. All of that being said, I was very impressed with the food itself and am sure the other stuff will get worked out. It was a cool vibe inside. The cost for burger and regular fries was $24 per person, which is on the pricier side, but you are partially paying for the location in Larimer Square. Absolutely in my top five burgers I've ever had. Love the high-quality ingredients and the simplicity of the menu. It's def a burger you need after an intense activity (for me, it was a day after snowboarding and I-70 traffic lol) Also, the fact the ketchup was even spiced was great. I did not expect that and loved it! The fries are a little mid but I think it's really because the burger is just so damn good that they didn't want to do anything crazy with them. I'm glad we stopped by the other night because the burger was one of the best I've had. Meat quality was unreal, and it was dressed perfectly with the sauce and toppings. My only complaint was the price is a little steep for a fast food spot ($50 for two burgers fries and a drink) and the cheese wasn't melted enough on the fries. There was a lot of hype going about NADC and I had been wanting to try this for awhile so I figured why not try them for Denver Restaurant Week... onlyyyy the deal started at 4pm. Luckily I didn't want a drink so I still paid less than what I would've paid on the end. But they are not cheap by any means, think Five Guys pricing. Everything is sold separately no such thing as meals. The burger is a double waygu patty, it comes with pickles, not so jalapeno/jalapenos, onions, and cheese. I also grabbed the Beast Mode Fries. Those are loaded with cheese the secret sauce, those falsified jalapeños, and pickles. Starting with the fries I love that they are fried in beef tallow, it adds an extra flavor dimension and crunch. I didn't care for the pickles and I wished they just used real jalapeños that were spicy not just mild peppers otherwise I wished they would've left them off. And when I think of a loaded fry I would've liked a bacon crumble or some sort of meat that's just me personally. As far as the burger goes I wasn't a fan of the stringy onions those turned me off, they seemed to turn into mush. I would've preferred them as a dice or slice. The burger also lacked freshness it could've used tomato and lettuce. That aside the patty melted in your mouth and it was really cheesy. All in all I can say I tried it but it was all overhyped especially for the price you pay. read more

If your ever downtown Denver and want a juicy delicious Cheese burger then look no further! NADC serves a mean, gnarly, awesome burger made with Wagyu quality beef! Full of flavor that wants you to savor every bite! I got a 3 Patty cheese burger which typically only comes with two but for an extra $8 you can add an additional patty. (I'm glad I did) and it comes with onions, pickles and jalapeños! I also got a side of fries which are pretty damn good! Plus they're fried in beef tallow! And finally I got a chocolate chip cookie to go which is rich, moist and extremely delicious. Not a dry crumbly cookie. The spot has a lot of seating which is great for lunch with co workers and friends and even for a date night or with family. They also serve beer and cocktails which was a plus! Has an old school skate shop vibe ambience. Now it is a little expensive but you get what you pay for. And it's definitely worth every penny! Guys working were awesome but I think the dude who took my order was having a bad day or wanted me to order more quickly since he was also running the grill. This is a tough review because on so many levels the burger hit as five star. The amount of wagyu ground meat was impressive. It was rich, greasy and flavorful. Here's where I wouldn't mind seeing some variation: The burger presented is served one way. There are two items on the menu. The burger and the fries. Perhaps it might be wise to broaden the menu with two or three other items or burger options. Buffalo, perhaps? Chicken or fish? Something vegan? Otherwise, supporters may tire. The beef tallow fries were good and unique, however, not immensely exciting. Also, it would be nice if the jalapeño was fresh not pickled. Service was good. Ambiance is a little dark for a burger joint. Wishing them well and glad we deviated course from Capital Grille for burgers to try this new place.
