Very good food and service. I'm from Southern California so I'm very picky about my Mexican food. This was right up there Very good.

Decided to randomly stop for tacos with the wife (she's a big fan of Mexican cuisine). She was dancing the whole time eating her food and that is what it's mainly about for me. With that said, the price was perfectly set for the menu so you most definitely get what you pay for. The hostess was an abuela type Mexican lady that made us feel super welcome (that's a big part of my experience) we order just some carnitas tacos as we were just stopping for a quick bite. The food was phenomenal! The beer was cold! And the times were fun! We most definitely need to come back for a full dinner one night because this place checks all the right boxes! 10/10 would most definitely come back AND recommend! read more

Watch your credit card statement & make sure they charge you the correct amount! My husband & I ate at Nachos in August & I'm still trying to get the amount they charged me corrected in March! The owner sent me a copy of someone else's receipt on a different day to prove what she charged me. She stalled so long I couldn't involve my credit card company. The accountant on her email doesn't work for them anymore (and seemed unhappy to hear he was still on her signature block). Sounds bad! The salsa was decent house made but if you want it a little spicier ask for their hot salsa to add into it, it's delicious. Took the salsa over the top delicious. Nacho's is one of the best I've found. Incredible menu with many regional specialties on an extensive menu and large portions.. I had the ( 20oz) fresh lime margarita, camarones aperetalados -- excellent - 1/2 lb of fried, bacon wrapped prawns on bed of fried green peppers & onions topped with melted Monterrey Jack cheese, rice, beans, tortillas and lettuce/tomatoes, with coffee $45. Celebrated moms birthday at Nachos. They were very accommodating about bringing in cake, seating, and helped sing Happy Birthday. We had nachos, fajitas, and tacquitos. Chips were very good, salsa tasty. Plenty of cheese and they allowed us to select toppings. Fajita meat tender and tasty, steak. I would have liked more peppers but they were cooked excellently. Holy cow! I'm so glad we stumbled upon this place while camping nearby. Some of the best mole sauce I've ever had and I'm super picky on mole! The drinks were spot on and service was good. Only negatives - they were busy without enough staff (they were working super hard though trying to keep up) and there was no AC so it was HOT but they had fans going. I felt bad for the kitchen and wait staff! We will for sure be back soon - just hopefully on a cooler day. read more

I went here TWICE while in town for the week. The Chile rellano was that good! It's usually the measure in which I gage Mexican food establishments and Nachos passed with flying colors! The first time I went the rice was a bit bland during lunch. But when I came back for dinner it was better. We were craving fried ice cream and didn't see it on the menu and they were able to make it for us! Really beyond service. The dining room was casual but good for a sit down meal. I've been to this restaurant several times hoping, just hoping that the last meal I had there was an anomaly and that this may be the one dinner that's really good. Well it wasn't. The service, Margaritas, and salsa were good but the Pollo a la Crema I orderedwas horrible. My husbands meal was so-so as well. It arrived to our table as a pile of white stuff that turned out to be thin sliced chicken that was dry and no flavor at all with some onions in it and tasted like pure sour cream was mixed in it. No cheese, seasoning, didn't find any green peppers , absolutely no flavor, dried out and no sauce just a pile of super white chicken. The beans and rice were cold to boot. I let the waitress know and she said she would let the chefs know and she must have as she went directly to the kitchen and then I heard them laughing and the chef was then staring at me like I did something wrong! That was the first time in my 72 years that I've complained about food it was that bad! Nothing more was said as I paid my bill for $70.00 for two meals that were under $20.00 each and two medium margaritas. Never again! That was my last visit there. We have been here 3 times in the last 2+ months. We are staying locally at a campground & enjoy a random restaurant meal. The nitty gritty: The service was prompt, yet quite impersonal on all 3 visits, we had the same waitress each visit. Food is decent, but they are skimpy on the chips & salsa (half full cup) and the tortillas are store bought, served right out of the package, not fitting for fajitas. The meals were good portions. They charge more than the menu lists, so watch your bill closely, even though when you catch it, they flat out refuse to correct it & instead give 'reasons' for the difference. More involved details: Hubby & I visited on 3 separate dates. The first was a weekday lunch, during the 'lunch special' hours. Hubby ordered the cheese enchilada lunch plate. I ordered the lunch fajitas. The waitress asked if I wanted chicken, steak or veggie? I asked 'Can you get both chicken & steak?' To which she replied 'Yep'. When the bill came, the fajitas were $19!!! (See the photo of menu, where it states Lunch Fajitas 11.10) The charge was apparently for the dinner fajitas. We were told 'Oh, you can't get the combination on the lunch fajitas.' We stated that we asked & were told 'Oh, well, she was wrong'. We paid and left, chalking it up to a bad experience. We went a second time, as we did enjoy the food. We went on the weekend & they do not have the lunch specials on weekends, which is understandable. We ordered the same meals and oddly, my fajita portion was half the previous visit portion, while costing the full price! We moved from the area & came back 3 weeks later. Today, we decided to go for lunch after a long morning. We ordered the same (we stick with what we like!) lunch fajitas & cheese enchiladas. My fajitas were the large portion again, which was great. Hubby got chicken, not cheese, enchiladas. He decided to keep them, as he had taken a bite and he said they were really good. When the bill came, my fajitas were $14?!?! When asked about the price discrepancy, the waitress said that the computer puts the $3 for chicken?!?! When asked, the waitress stated that there is nothing they can do as the computer adds the $3 when she puts in chicken (or steak). When asked for a manager, the waitress simply stated there's nothing anyone can do to make the charge match the menu. So, apparently fajitas here are just grilled onions & peppers?!?!? We paid & left for the last time. We are in the area for another month, but will be trying the few other options around. Customer service is obviously not a priority here. We were willing to overlook the somewhat surly waitress, but the crooked charging & outright refusal to make it right is too much. read more

Oh my Gosh....do you ever go out to eat and just want a break from your phone? That was me and I highly regret it because the only picture I got was of the Menudo. The food that we ordered (we were a party of 9!!) was simply delicious. We were complaining (literally) because it was taking so long to get our drinks (20+ minutes) and food (almost an hour) but if you'd seen the food coming out of the kitchen to the tables -mouth watering. And then we ate. All 9 of us loved the food. Service was exceptional. I understand why this place was absolutely packed although it looked like a hole in the wall. And why there were people breaking out playing cards at one table. Now I understand why. Highly recommend coming here and whatever you order you will be thrilled. I was very much looking forward to trying Nacho's out since I had heard so many good things about it from friends and family in that area. We had a large birthday gathering and they accommodated all of us at a single table which was very nice. The chips and salsa were excellent but I wasn't overly impressed with the food. I had the combo plate with the steak and shrimp. The steak was good but the shrimp lacked flavor and bland without any garlic which I thought was strange. Our server was busy since the restaurant was packed so I didn't flag him down but he never asked either. I think this is a one and done for me with a large group since their quality control might have been a little off but I may try them again with a small party in the future for a small dinner party. It's nothing fancy but I'm all about the food so as long as the food is good next time, I'll update my rating. read more

Wow. We can't say enough good things here. We stayed the night in Mossyrock and had the privilege of eating here. The portions were WAY bigger than expected (lots of leftovers), the food tasted super fresh, the service staff was top notch and super attentive, and we heard some great live music (the musicians came round and talked to everyone). We have been coming here for several years and the service and food has been excellent. Greeted, seated and drinks ordered within 10 minutes of being seated in a large group. Food is always spot on with larger than normal portions. We are always happy and overly full when we leave. And the margaritas are always in point. read more

Really lousy service, food OK, server over charged me $14 at checkout, just giggled when I pointed out the mistake. Overcharge was fixed, went home with box of food in which I found multiple weird hairs that look to be from a cleaning brush of some type. Lost appetite, threw rest of food away. {EDIT} Reading some of the other reviews about them overcharging. Our overcharge was corrected after I pointed it out. Might be a good idea to check on the meal price before and after ordering - we sat there forever waiting for a bill that never came, went to the counter finally, they never showed us the bill just rang it up. Was $14 more than the menu price - I pointed this out - the server giggled, didn't say anything, and charged us the corrected price. read more

We stopped for dinner on our way to the mountain and we're blown away. The food was delicious, fresh, and authentic. Definitely ask for the special salsa with your meal. The green was so flavorful and the red was nice and spicy. The teen also loved that it was wall to wall tvs showing Mexican soccer games. The service was friendly and attentive. Very good Mexican food despite getting it take out. I'm sure the food would have been even better at the restaurant. Every dish we had was excellent. The ceviche was fresh, the flank steak was tender and juicy. I had the camarones and carne and the prawns were large and delicious with good mushrooms. Better than most Seattle Mexican restaurants (which isn't saying much). This place would hold its own pretty much anywhere. Friendly servers as well. read more
