Oregon City has a way of feeling put together without trying too hard. You've got history, views, and just enough going on to make it interesting without turning your day into a full-blown expedition. Corner 14 itself? Dialed in. Covered seating everywhere, fire pits at nearly every table, and a massive one out front that practically dares you to grab a drink and stay awhile. Rain or shine, hot or cold, this place has you handled. It's modern, clean, and honestly punches right up there with the best food cart setups around. What used to feel a little worn now looks refreshed like it hit the reset button and came back brand new. At night, the whole place flips a switch. String lights glow, the fire pits crackle, and suddenly you're not just grabbing food--you're settling in. It's the kind of spot where you tell yourself "just one drink" and somehow end up two hours deep, debating life like a philosopher with a buzz. And the location doesn't hurt. You're right near Willamette Falls that big, roaring centerpiece of the town and just a short trip from the iconic Oregon City Municipal Elevator, which gives you sweeping views of the valley. Toss in a stroll down Main Street and you've got yourself a full outing without the headache of city traffic or a 50-block commitment. Bonus points: right across the street you can hit Oregon City Axe Throwing. So yeah grab a drink, eat something great, then go hurl sharp objects with your friends like responsible adults. I've got a soft spot for this place Thirsty Thursdays, post-work hangs, a lot of good memories baked into these fire pits. Corner 14 isn't just a food cart pod it's a go-to. Easy, fun, and just classy enough to keep you coming back.

Adelina's Mexican Food…read more I absolutely adore this food cart through and through - and I can never get enough! Every single time I order from Adelina's, the food is fresh, incredibly flavorful, and made with so much care. There's a perfect balance of zest and spice in everything I've tried -- bold without ever being overpowering. The owners and staff deserve a shoutout on their own. They are genuinely kind, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do, and you can feel and taste that love and passion for their craft in every bite! The location is also a huge bonus. Being tucked into Corner 14 Food Carts in downtown Oregon City makes it the perfect stop -- grab food, go axe throwing, enjoy a beer at the bar, and explore the other carts... though honestly, Adelina's is always my top choice. Now let's talk food -- because WOW. The esquites are an absolute flavor bomb: creamy mayo, cotija cheese, tajín, and a slice of lime on top that you can squeeze fresh for that bright pop of citrus. It's indulgent, balanced, and so satisfying. Now: the underdog that everyone needs to try from Adelina's is their famous Tamales! I swear they are a major standout -- ONE OF THE BEST MADE AROUND PORTLAND! I mean the corn wrapping is perfect: not too thick, not too thin. Topped with crema and cotija, it's rich without feeling heavy. Don't even get me started about the flavor of the meat inside because the red sauce they make can use for their chicken inside the tamale... Unreal. I've also tried their beans and rice, plus the house guacamole (DO NOT SKIP ON THE GUAC; it reminds me of the table-side service guacamole we had in Puerto Vallarta) which is full of fresh vibrant flavor salted to perfection; it's finished with cilantro and lime for a fresh, clean bite. It's the perfect addition to literally anything on the menu. Anytime I'm feeling a little down or just need something filling that doesn't feel heavy or unhealthy, this is where I go. Adelina's always resets my day in the best way. If you haven't stopped by yet, please do -- or order pickup/delivery through DoorDash and taste for yourself and add another local staple to your family's favorite spots! There's something incredibly healing about food made with love, and this small local business truly knows what they're creating.

You need to take your luck and stop by and see if they open since their hours on Yelp are not accurate or current. I did not call the phone listed on Yelp, so I may need to do it next time. My first time there was about three weeks ago during lunch without looking for anything special. Since then, I stopped by between 2-4 pm, and they closed, so I am craving it! I also ordered the beignet and was not impressed since I still tasted the uncooked thick dough. I would order this again before giving my final take on it and other things on their menu. I loved their humor decors; they all made me giggle, looking at and reading them. They are conveniently located at the Corner 14 Food Pod with other carts with limited parking on the pavement area; otherwise, it's gravel underneath a bridge/overpass structure, so drive slowly. There are shaded sitting areas and an electronic fireplace for cold days.

My son chose to have the Alligator Nuggets! The redeeming factor here was that they were still tender. It seemed the oil was likely too hot, or overused and the breading was lightly burned. Either way they still had an okay taste, they were mostly missing that golden brown color that you hope for when getting breaded fried foods. The crawfish etouffee was pretty disappointing for us. The sauce/gravy to rice ratio was WAY off, essentially it was about a 2 inch tall pack of rice, and a drizzle of gravy. The gravy's seasoning was disappointingly spicy just to be spicy instead of having an even blend of flavor and space. Had the flavor punch been balanced with the spice level it would have at least tasted better, and felt better generally speaking. Lastly the crawfish were cut up into even tinier pieces, which made for a lack of protein in this dish. While the decoration outside the cart is fun and enticing, the food, and the personal experience were lacking. There was very little excitement in the truck, and seemingly a lack of passion/engagement that we've experienced at other food trucks that change the overall experience for us. We had fun trying out a food that has deep roots in our family, and may come back to see if we can get a redemption review in the future.
