Pastor ($2) and Quesobirria Tacos ($2.50) are phenomenal

Always good. Tried the Flautas this time. They were great as expected. Had (6) Asada, and (4) Birria Tacos again. I think about this place often. Finally got my craving filled.

Literally a hidden gem but worth the hunt. Behind the house at listed address, this is the most authentic Mexican food I've found. The staff is friendly and helpful. Carnitas cooking in the background and open air kitchen made the place smell so good. I had the pesole soup which I highly recommend. Flavorful broth that warms you on a cold day. Lots of slow cooked pork inside. Comes with a plate of add on that just made the soup better! Love the ambiance and recommend you visit. It doubles as a church on Sundays what could go wrong. A post doesn't do this place or food justice you just have to visit and see for yourself. Fri, Sat, Sun after 4.

Asada taco and chicken enchilada, add your own toppings for tacos.

The flautas that my lunch companions had also looked delicious (they confirmed that they were indeed yummy).

It's street parking which can be tricky in that area. Their menu had lots of great options. It was my first time here and was a little bummed that chips and salsa had to be ordered and was not complimentary. Also we had some kids in our group and they didn't have a mild salsa so the kids didn't really eat any of the salsa. Personally I liked their house salsa and also appreciated that they had 3 sauces you could use for your food at a counter to the side which included mild (verde salsa), medium and spicy. The kids didn't like the verde salsa either. Highlights- My daughter loved her steak taco and I really liked my 2 tacos- camarones and barbacoa. All 3 tacos had lots of protein on them which was awesome. We really liked our waitress Kimberlee. She took great care of us! Our friend really liked her margarita and fun bowl. Another friend loved her calabacitas taco. Things to note- There is not a kid's menu, but they do have a little quesadilla on their menu. I personally would skip the side of beans and rice and order another taco. We got a couple of orders of beans and rice and that was the only thing no one (adults and kids) didn't really liked. We ordered guacamole to start and it didn't have much flavor it was okay, but not great. There is a 5% 'happy kitchen' fee added to the bill. Overall I would recommend checking out this place! I hope to go back in the future to try their mole negro enmoladas.

Appreciate the self service water and salsa station and their margaritas are good! It's not the tastiest food, there's better tacos elsewhere, but it's consistent with market rates and tastes!

Don Chuy Mexican Grill Review…read more If you're looking for incredible Mexican food, Don Chuy is absolutely worth the visit! Food: I ordered the carne asada burrito, and it was fantastic. The tortillas tasted fresh, and every bite was packed with flavor. We also ordered chips, salsa, and guacamole to start. Their salsa was one of my favorites--it has the perfect balance of fresh flavor, a nice kick of spice, and just the right amount of chunky texture. My friend ordered the Quesabirria Tacos, and after trying one, I immediately understood why everyone raves about them. They were so good, and the consommé was packed with flavor. In fact, I went back the very next day and ordered them to-go because they were that good! They also have a large selection of canned and bottled drinks to choose from. Ambiance: The restaurant has a clean, open layout with plenty of natural light. There are comfortable booths as well as bar-style seating along the windows, making it a welcoming place whether you're dining alone or with friends. Customer Service: The customer service was outstanding. The woman helping us, who I believe may be one of the owners, was incredibly kind and welcoming. I had several questions about the different burritos and what set them apart, and she took the time to explain everything without making me feel rushed. The entire staff was friendly and made us feel right at home. Overall: I've eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants, and honestly, I think Don Chuy is top-tier. Even when comparing it to places like Margarita Factory, Don Chuy stands out for its fresh, flavorful food and exceptional customer service. In my opinion, there isn't much local competition that comes close. Will I be back? Absolutely! This is an easy 5 out of 5 stars, and I highly recommend giving them a try.

I drove over to Oregon City to try Don Chuy's because it had above average reviews. I liked the chicken burrito I had, but it was not worth the 20 minute drive. Adelina's Mexican Food…read more I absolutely adore this food cart through and through - and I can never get enough! Every single time I order from Adelina's, the food is fresh, incredibly flavorful, and made with so much care. There's a perfect balance of zest and spice in everything I've tried -- bold without ever being overpowering. The owners and staff deserve a shoutout on their own. They are genuinely kind, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do, and you can feel and taste that love and passion for their craft in every bite! The location is also a huge bonus. Being tucked into Corner 14 Food Carts in downtown Oregon City makes it the perfect stop -- grab food, go axe throwing, enjoy a beer at the bar, and explore the other carts... though honestly, Adelina's is always my top choice. Now let's talk food -- because WOW. The esquites are an absolute flavor bomb: creamy mayo, cotija cheese, tajín, and a slice of lime on top that you can squeeze fresh for that bright pop of citrus. It's indulgent, balanced, and so satisfying. Now: the underdog that everyone needs to try from Adelina's is their famous Tamales! I swear they are a major standout -- ONE OF THE BEST MADE AROUND PORTLAND! I mean the corn wrapping is perfect: not too thick, not too thin. Topped with crema and cotija, it's rich without feeling heavy. Don't even get me started about the flavor of the meat inside because the red sauce they make can use for their chicken inside the tamale... Unreal. I've also tried their beans and rice, plus the house guacamole (DO NOT SKIP ON THE GUAC; it reminds me of the table-side service guacamole we had in Puerto Vallarta) which is full of fresh vibrant flavor salted to perfection; it's finished with cilantro and lime for a fresh, clean bite. It's the perfect addition to literally anything on the menu. Anytime I'm feeling a little down or just need something filling that doesn't feel heavy or unhealthy, this is where I go. Adelina's always resets my day in the best way. If you haven't stopped by yet, please do -- or order pickup/delivery through DoorDash and taste for yourself and add another local staple to your family's favorite spots! There's something incredibly healing about food made with love, and this small local business truly knows what they're creating.

Oregon City has a way of feeling put together without trying too hard. You've got history, views, and just enough going on to make it interesting without turning your day into a full-blown expedition. Corner 14 itself? Dialed in. Covered seating everywhere, fire pits at nearly every table, and a massive one out front that practically dares you to grab a drink and stay awhile. Rain or shine, hot or cold, this place has you handled. It's modern, clean, and honestly punches right up there with the best food cart setups around. What used to feel a little worn now looks refreshed like it hit the reset button and came back brand new. At night, the whole place flips a switch. String lights glow, the fire pits crackle, and suddenly you're not just grabbing food--you're settling in. It's the kind of spot where you tell yourself "just one drink" and somehow end up two hours deep, debating life like a philosopher with a buzz. And the location doesn't hurt. You're right near Willamette Falls that big, roaring centerpiece of the town and just a short trip from the iconic Oregon City Municipal Elevator, which gives you sweeping views of the valley. Toss in a stroll down Main Street and you've got yourself a full outing without the headache of city traffic or a 50-block commitment. Bonus points: right across the street you can hit Oregon City Axe Throwing. So yeah grab a drink, eat something great, then go hurl sharp objects with your friends like responsible adults. I've got a soft spot for this place Thirsty Thursdays, post-work hangs, a lot of good memories baked into these fire pits. Corner 14 isn't just a food cart pod it's a go-to.
