Oof...tough to leave this review but after hopping over to Google Reviews and seeing similar, I felt that I had to share my experience here. I am a long time customer of this establishment like I am with other establishments in the area. Last week I ordered my usual chicken enchilada plate on Tuesday evening, 8/22/23. Everything tasted fine except that it wasn't as warm as usual and the cheese on top wasn't melted much. Didn't think much of it because it was a hot day but probably should have reheated the meal to be hot. I live 5 minutes away for reference and the food was ordered on site while I waited. I left right away and went home to enjoy. A couple hours later I started to feel off. Tossed and turned all night from my stomach turgling. The next morning my stomach was noisy nonstop...and I was like, this will pass maybe it was the beans. I went about my morning with some fatigue, dizziness and chills. Then I had lunch - the leftovers from the night before as I hadn't finished it. I heated it to hot. An hour after that I was literally passed out on the couch with a fatigue like I have never experienced. I woke up freezing and had to go outside to warm up. Then the cramping began which literally took my breath away. The cramping continued for the next few days off and on in my lower intestine that can only be described like Braxton hicks contractions. I was worried that I had something else going on because the pressure was so great but I've already had my appendix removed so it wasn't that. OMG though. I had a fever for two days as well. And every time the constipating cramps ramped up I ran to the bathroom praying for the Dumb & Dumber bathroom scene hoping to get whatever bacteria I had been infected with, out. Guys. I've read some other unsavory reviews and I have read your health inspection report. Please clean up your act. If you wear gloves, change them often. Wash hands, wear masks, wipe surfaces, etc. I was useless for a few days because of this one meal I ate. On top of this as I am past the intestinal stuff, I am dealing with some sort of pesky dry cough and tightness in my chest - that is no doubt related to the stress my body endured. Don't know when I'll return but I'm definitely taking a break for now. Other family members also ordered meals and were fine. The only difference was that I had fresh lettuce and tomato with my meal and they did not...perhaps that was the culprit. read more

Also very quick for takeout orders, I probably waited about 4 minutes for my entire order. Only complaint is the fish taco is underwhelming, under flavored and a little rubbery. I've always loved senor taco but today they really out did themselves. I called about 40 minutes before closing to put in an order and arrived about 1 minute before closing due to traffic to pick up the order. They graciously let me in and gave us our food FREE OF CHARGE. I was incredibly apologetic for being so late and they repeatedly said it was no big deal and were so kind and generous despite the fact that my late arrival wasn't very courteous of me. We discovered Senor Taco from Yelp reviews while in the area so we decided to stop by and give it a try. We are Mexican food fanatics so we're always game to find a new place. We ordered a chicken wet burrito, a chicken quesadilla, a carne asada burrito and tacos el pastor. To start with the positive, the meats were cook well and everything was served hot. They pack the burritos with lots of filling and cover the top of the wet burrito with lots of sauce, cheese and lettuce. They package the food nicely in to go containers and give plenty of hot sauces to go. On the not so positive side, the food was very bland. Not much seasoning to any of the meats or other ingredients. We found ourselves not only using the hot sauces they gave us but also adding salt and more sauces from our own stash at home to give some flavor to the food. The quesadilla was the most bland and the sauces didn't help it much. After trying each item we all agreed that everything simply lacked any really good flavor. It's sad since they do fill the burritos nicely but even adding the hot sauces didn't give any of it quality flavor. I really wanted to love this little spot but we love Mexican food for a reason, flavors! The staff was super friendly and helpful at this location. Great staff deserves extra stars all on its own. There's no dine in seating here. They are taking call in orders and walk ins. We noticed there's several locations around us so we might end up giving another shop a try sometime. read more

This is my local go-to small family run Mexican restaurant. The food is always high quality, we normally have the Taco Salad and Senor Burrito. While the food is always great, they seem to have a little problem with accuracy especially when making a special order. Things like asking for and paying for guac inside a burrito and they forget has happened more than once. Also, when calling to place an order, they will sometimes turn off their phone during busy times or place you on an eternal hold. If this happens, you can always order at the restaurant and they're pretty quick. It's annoying but the food is worth it. read more

Frustrated because they actually make a decent burrito but beware to triple check what you're charged. One of my favorite items is the Big Boy burritos and it's clearly priced at $8 right behind the cash register yet employees charge me $9. When asked about why I'm being charged a higher price, the explanation was "the boss won't charge the menu price." People, this was a special printed on computer paper. So I told employee, "well then grab this sharpie and write $9." And he refused. So it's obvious that his staff is skimming the the till, or he's a terrible boss. I go here all the time. the food is good. I stopped by the West Linn restaurant yesterday about 5pm on Aug 10th. I ordered 2 taco's from a man I didn't recognize at the counter. i simply said I'd like 2 tacos with onions. he yelled at me and made a big scene saying, "YOU WANT JUST 2 SHELLS WITH ONLY ONIONS!!!" I said no, I want 2 regular tacos with the shredded beef and add onions. this man still made a big production on how I was not ordering properly and was making a scene in attempt to embarrass me in front of other customers. I thought his customer service skills were awful and can't believe he treated me this way!! I am giving the one star because I can't give zero, this is only based on the customer service skills of this man. If he is going to be on the front lines going forward, the restaurant should rethink His role. Really craving Mexican food..... Slightly better than Super Torta. Nice and close to my house. Seems somewhat authentic. The cashier speaks broken English and they have Tapatio (my favorite!). The cheese enchiladas were good. 4 stars. The green and red salsa 2 stars. Just ended up using my Tapatio at home. The beans and rice nothing special but not bad. 3 stars. The carne asada taco.... bleh. 2 stars. I used to use the carne asada as the bellweather for how good a Mexican restaurant was.... so far in Oregon it's pretty bad. Maybe I have to lower my expectations after eating Mexican food in southern California for 12 years.... The beef burrito was a bit better. It's huge... too big. This sounds oxymoronic... but too much beef. It overpowered the burrito. The beef was also a bit on the dry side. The girl at the front counter is consistently RUDE and will stand there and talk crap about you to the chefs while you wait for your food. The food isn't even that great! I try and support small business, but this place is officially a no-go for me. The meat seems to constantly be dry and the beans lack salt in everything I've tried from there... Today is the many times the store does not open on time, and the same female employee with a horrible attitude. Last time, she was 30 minutes late and wouldn't answer the phone once they were open. My husband informed her it was his wife calling in an order and could she answer the phone, she picked it up and handed the phone to my husband!!! Wth, this employee clearly needs to be fired. Note this is the girl with long dark hair working tiday, opened 15 min late today and total attitude. My other complaint is the half filled and often old to go salsas for 25 cents each. It's a legit taqueria and I consider myself a snob when it comes to tacos. Double corn tortillas, slightly toasted. The carnitas were perfectly seasoned and full of crispy bits and not soggy. The lengua was melt in your mouth good and the hand rolled crispy tacos so good that I posted this review, something I rarely do.
