Pretty standard Mexican food but the margaritas are worth it. Even the weird banana margaritas that is always on the special's board is good. Wall murals, carved wood booths, a couple areas for bigger groups, and plenty of parking spaces in the lot. Staff is always helpful but I wish they would fully learn to use their POS system. I'd love to tap the screen to select my tip and then tap my phone to pay. Of course I'm nit picking here. This is a solid place. When my husband and I want Mexican food and don't want to travel far we come to San Blas. The food here is pretty standard for Mexican food. The pollo ala crema is one of my go to dinners but I do try and get something different. The staff here is always friendly and the food comes out in an appropriate time. My family and I had a very dissapointing experience, huge wayste of $. I cannot believe this place is still in business with the quality of food they serve. The carne asada was unseasoned and super bland along with my wifes chicken. The only good thing we had was the shrimp and the chips and salsa. We told the waitress we were unhappy and told her what was wrong. She went back to her manager, came back to us and said all she could do was give us 50% off of one plate. (11$) So my wife barely touches her chicken/steak/shrimp plate, i dont touch my steak, our daughter barely ate any of her carne. So im paying 100$ for 3 plates of food we are not happy with ARE NOT EATING AND ARE NOT TAKING HOME. The manager didnt even bother to come over and talk with us. Just had the waitress come back and tell us there was nothing she could do. Do yourself a favor, eat anywhere els. Lol fucking go to taco bell, you will have a much better experience. I promise you. Ordered steak fajitas and the portions were so small for 24 bucks I sent it back. Do not waste your money here.

It was super busy in a Saturday dinner time so it took a alittle bit to be seated. Once we were seated the service was very attentive and always checking in on us. The server was super friendly and making jokes so it was a good time. The fresh guac was very good and creamy. They give you chips and salsa with a plate of beans and pico for a complementary appetizer. They also provided an extra spicy picante sauce that had a pretty slow burn buildup. I had the mole enchilada and the mole sauce was a bit thinner than I'm use to but every bit as delicious. My wife had the steak plate and the steak was so juicy and seasoned very well. I don't know if I ever had carne asada so flavorful and tender. Overall it was a good experience even with them being short staffed. read more

I was recommended this place by a couple of my friends said it was the best food they have ever had. I decided to try since I am Mexican I went there and the food was tasteless. The pictures on the menu looked nothing like the food we received. When we got our food I tasted it and the meat had no seasoning AT ALL. Literally the most tasteless meat I have ever eaten like please add some seasoning. The service could use some work they were very slow and not even under staffed. We had to wait an hour before receiving our food. The ambiance of the place felt awkward and uncomfortable usually restaurants that i go to are usually loud and welcoming but this one was different when you walked right in you could get a erre feel. I don't recommend this place at all. But if you want to try it go right ahead, hope this helped. read more

This is a Mexican restaurant I have been wanting to try for quite sometime. We went for lunch and both ordered lunch portions. My wife ordered the chicken fajitas and I ordered the chile colorado. I was very disappointed in the my food, the only thing I could taste was cumin. I am not exaggerating it was extremely over powering! When I told the server he did not offer anything to replace it. Second visit after the first was so-so. I should have left well enough alone. Both times ordered to go. I ordered a spinach burrito with no cheese. Made sure they understood as I saw them write my order on a post it note. Get home and smothered in cheese. Even after scraping the top layer off (cheese and tortilla) and tried what was left, the food was cold. As though it had never been fully heated. A great family Mexican restaurant, that is a local favorite for many years. Ate there again last night and staff were polite and friendly. The parking lot is free, if a little crowded at dinner time. Fajitas were made just right, tender marinated beef, succulent shrimp, and delicious chicken, along with pan fried onions and peppers. The chili relano was good. Thank goodness we found this place. From growing up in Southern California and having access to some of the best Mexican food ever moving to Oregon was a draaaagggg. We tried so many places and they all were subpar. I did not think we'd find good Mexican when we moved to Wilsonville but we gave this place a shot and WOW. First time coming here on this beautiful Sunday what best way to end your day then with a great dinner. In hopes that that food would be great since they have decent star rating we decided to try this place. Wrong! We had 3 different plates that contained steak and it was very disappointing meat had no flavor, it was like a slab of meat that was just tossed on the grill. I asked for hot sauce and they brought a bottle sauce with no label of what was in there and not good at all (who knows what was in there). Then asked for a grilled pepper the waitress said it would be a while to get that pepper. At this point I had given up on being able to add something to make my meal better. Tortillas where just microwave and where all stuck to each other and kept ripping into pieces when pulled apart. My 9 year old daughter had to get a grown up plate because they would not sell us 2 carnitas tacos because they were already pre made. So went for the steak plate of which she picked a few pieces of the meat because once again meat was chewy and had no flavor. At the end we did not eat the most the steak other then to try it. I tried to talk to the manager and the waitress came back and said she would not talk to me, she did the best she could. The waitress was nice and did her best. We love that we have wonderful options here in Wilsonville. San Blas is one of those great options for delicious food. They greet you with warm chips and mouth watering salsa. My husband really enjoys the beef nachos and enchiladas. My personal favorite are the street tacos. They are generous with the amount of steak they put into each of the 5 tacos with pinto beans. Just DON'T order a burrito!!!! first the good: -Chips & Salsa, the chips were warm and fine grained masa, the salsa was watery, but good spice and flavor -Pork Chile Verde was spicy and tender BUT I ordered two "burritos ala carta" and that was a mistake. 1. You can only get what is on the printed menu, so I ordered the Chicken (unfortunately no shredded chicken) and the Pork Chile Verde, (Carnitas is on the menu as a specialty, but the did not have any). I was able to persuade him to add, (to the chicken burrito) guacamole and crema, but it was $2.50 extra and not worth it, see below) 2. The Burritos looked like enchiladas, they only had meat (and sauce) in them, no rice or beans, and then they were covered in sauce (what we would call a wet burrito) with cheddar cheese on top.... SO, without rice and beans and drenched in sauce, I would call this an enchilada, and the cheddar cheese threw me, but I figured it was some Oregon abomination.... 3. It looked as if they threw the guacamole on top before they hit the broiler for the cheese to melt, which made it look like some old looking guacamole. I have been spoiled by Oakland's International Blvd restaurants, but I have heard there are some good tauqerias in Tigard, even offering Pastor.. now if I can just find a good taqueria with Bucce and Lengua...... read more

I didn't even notice that this place existed until a friend of mine brought me here. It's set in the side-corner of a shopping center, and for some reason it doesn't show up on Google when you search for mexican food. Anyway, I've been twice so far and have been very impressed both times. My first meal was the Verde Burrito and I was very very happy -- and I'm normally not a huge pork fan, but the flavor and tenderness of this was fantastic. The burritos are good and large, the beans and rice are fantastic, and they even give you a little dessert crispy cinnamon-sugar & fruit tortilla at the end of your meal! They also have lots of flavored margaritas -- I got the strawberry and it was fantastic! The only downfalls that I've noticed were that the prices were a litttle high, but I guess not terrible; the cheese dip was not great -- spicy and almost jar-like; and the salsas were both too spicy for me. I'd like for the default salsa to be a little bit milder -- this way, people can ask if they want something spicier. Maybe that's too nit-picky. The service was fine, too. Had dinner here and it was wonderful! Ordered a skinny margarita with patron and it was perfect. The cheese dip appetizer was to die for! Th chicken mole was nice but a little sweet. Meh, I've experienced better. One of the items I depend on in a sit down south of the boarder eatery is fresh chips. Their chips were straight out of the bag,,. My Chimichanga was smaller that a dollar bill and worth about that. It was filled with liquid fat they called ground beef. The staff was nice and stopped by often. I can't fault them. Hopefully they will iron out the food and be a good resource for lunch. read more
