Street tacos were delicious. Ticked in the back of a little Mexican store. Patients and friendly even when I couldn't decide what I wanted. Cabeza here was so good. I tried pastor, lengua, cabeza tacos.

Excellent stop after a day at the wineries. Homemade tortillas. Tasty carne. Check out the store next door while waiting for your food.

This is a super cute, authentic, Mexican restaurant, tucked on the side of a little Mexican market. The food was the best Mexican I've had since moving to Oregon. Everything was really good and fresh. The service was friendly and fast. It's a gem of a place. All four of us loved our food. We had enchiladas, burrito Colorado, flautas, and a torta!

After moving to the Pacific Northwest from San Diego, I haven't been able to find a place for good tacos. Today my search is finally over: el Ranchito Alegre is THE place. Little reminder: if you haven't had real Mexican food before, bring a friend who knows what to order for you. By no means el Ranchito Alegre is fancy; it's not an Americanized franchise where you could get crunchy tacos with ice berg lettuce. The food here makes your soul happy. The tacos we had were amazing. Seriously, writing about them make me want to go back and get more. My top three tacos are: adobada, chorizo, and carnitas. For $3, each taco came with a huge amount of meat. The adobada was so well seasoned, charred, and juicy. The carnitas were so delicious as well. Their tortilla is all handmade so it's very fresh; the texture is nothing but perfection. Each taco is made to order so do expect a little bit wait time. We will be back soon to try more food. Also I want to point out that the restaurant is connected to a little market, so don't forget to treat yourself with some delicious snacks and fun goodies from Mexico!!

This came with hot homemade tortillas and the flavor was amazing. I highly recommend this place. I

Close to my work thank goodness!!! Love the Al Pastor!! Excellent flavor and generous portions. Homemade tortillas make it that much better.

Delicious menudo (available all week; not just Saturdays or Sundays) and birria en caldo. $18 for each soup, but generous complimentary lime wedges, chopped cilantro, white onion and fresh chiles. Their other dishes are freshly made to order and are mostly styled from the state of Guerrero. Happy and friendly kitchen cooks. Patient cashier.

Born and raised in California and this place has been one of the best places we've found yet!!! The food is fresh, authentic, and so freakin tasty!!! The ladies are polite and friendly, greeted us with a smile, and there is a store inside the restaurant which is so convenient. Traditional and bathrooms clean. Spent less than $30 for two meals with leftovers for later. So definitely worth your dollar.

    Chicken and pastor tacos

By far the best street tacos around. The pastor is amazing. Perfectly seasoned. Large portions of meat.

It's the best goat meat ever! I had the Birria Combo, and my wife had the Burrito Colorado, which was beautiful! The service was excellent and timely. If you're looking for the best goat meat in town, please visit El Ranchito.

Solid tacos, good burritos, and pretty damn authentic. If you're in the area give ERA a try.

While the tacos were decent, the Pozole was the highlight of the meal--served with fresh avocado and crisp vegetables on top. It tasted very fresh, and I highly recommend it! The staff members were friendly, and the restaurant has a great, welcoming atmosphere. I didn't get to try them this time, but I definitely want to come back for their housemade daily chile rellenos next time! A solid 4-star spot for a casual Mexican lunch.

We were seated and promptly served chips and salsa which was yummy. The restaurant is LOUD when it's busy so you'll be yelling to hear each other. The layout is kinda interesting...it's just one large room with a bunch of tables. Then the open kitchen and bar to the side (separated by a wall). We got the carne asada fries to share and these were delicious. 9/10. Huge portion too! For my son, he got the ceviche. It's just shrimp, would be cool if they added more seafood. Dish was $25+. He said it was an 8.5/10. I got the garlic butter shrimp enchiladas, also for $25. Like why is everything so overpriced. For the quality / taste, def not worth $25. The enchiladas were just okay. Our waitress and the staff were nice, no problems there. The house made horchata is deliciousssss.
