    Tacos Arabes
    Irv L.

The most authentic cemita and taco árabe I have tried in the USA. For those that don't know, a cemita and taco arabe originated from Puebla, MX. They are delicious and full of flavor. Highly recommend giving them a try.

Came here on the weekend and got to try the duck tacos but wasn't particularly a standout. The normal menu is better. We got a Al pastor torta and some tacos. Very rare find of $2.50 tacos these days. It was good but nothing was super standout. The pastor didn't have that charred extra flavor. But I am ok coming back again because tacos were cheap and delicious.

Great Pueblan food that is difficult to find elsewhere in Oregon. The cemitas are great. I prefer the flavor of the milanesa de res but the meat is a little gristly and difficult to eat, so I would recommend the milanesa de pollo. The tacos árabes were also good. Charming decor (papel picado) and clean restrooms.

My husband and I stopped by to give this place a shot. We were both starving and Mexican food sounded good. I had no idea that we were walking into a place with tasty Mexican 'sandwiches'. I got the chicken sandwich, it had a thin crispy fried chicken and was topped with tons of quesillo cheese. I ordered mine without jalapeños or chipotle sauce, I know I'm a wimp. It was SO tasty! The quesillo cheese was like like a creamy cheese shredded cheese stick material, if that makes sense. I plan on ordering ahead and picking this up for a bomb dinner during the week!

The sand which I had was so full of flavor. I took it home and the bread wasn't soggy. It was perfect texture and perfect tasting. Highly recommend

Been here a couple times and I have forgotten to write a review! So sorry! This is legit one of the yummiest places in Oregon! We love the semitas poblanas. We have tried chicken, cow and pig and they have all been amazing. These are like huge burgers with real mexican cheese, avacado, papano leaves and your choice of jalapenos or chile chipotle!!! Plus you can ask for green salsa or habanero sauce for extra flavor :P please check out this place they have so many extra menu options I will be back to try as well!!!

I'd probably give this place 3.5 stars if they allowed it. It was a perfectly acceptable truck and I do plan on coming back to try some of their other stuff if I find myself in Beaverton again. I recently discovered the wonderful world of cemitas when I was down in LA visiting family over the winter holiday season. If you find yourself in the Valley down there, do yourself a favor and go to Cemitas Poblanas Don Adrian. I had my first and only other cemitas there by accident and it really rocked my world. I knew I had to have another, so the first thing I did when I got back was find a local cemitaria. I used the excuse of visiting friends in Hillsboro to stop by this place. Luckily it is located right off the Beavteron Max station in the parking lot of the 76, so it is pretty easy to get to. The cemitas on the menu are the most expensive thing by far. The tacos are $1.25 and the burritos are $5 which would make this truck very reasonably priced. However between a cemitas and a coke, it came to $10 which seems a little high for a meal at a taco truck. I immediately realized why when I got the sandwich. This thing is HUGE. I was really hungry and I just barely managed to finish it and I didn't have to eat again until pretty late that night when I had a small snack. I ordered the carnitas and my girlfriend got the M.D Res (breaded steak). The first thing that differentiated this cemitas from the last one was the bread. The bread really made the sandwich at the last place. It was egg washed and baked to a perfect crispness. A hybread between a brioche bun and a baguette. This bread left something to be desired. It felt and tasted like something that came from Restaurant Depot. My other complaint is with the meats. My carnitas were quite bountiful, but they were a bit soft and very fatty. There were a couple hunks that were just pure fat, no meat at all. My girlfriend's beef was a little on the dry side, but I experienced that before so it might just be the way it is. They also had a couple things on the menu that I had never heard of before, tlacoyos and picaditas. They looked pretty good from their pictures so I'd like to try them out. If you find yourself in the area and need some typical and even atypical Mexican fare, you can't go wrong with this place. My expectations for cemitas are just a little high. Also a car caught on fire at the gas station while we were eating. Good show!

This place was a mission to find. My wife is a huge fan of Cemitas. After looking all over Portland, Hillsboro, and Beaverton I was able to locate this place from the help of a friend who is from Puebla (hometown of Cemitas). For those who don't know a Cemita is a type of Torta or Mexican sandwich. It has quesillo (type of cheese that resembles queso Oaxaca, or Mexican Mozzarella), Avocado, of course the meat, and pápalo (a type of spice that looks like spinach but tastes more like a strong cilantro). We had the cemita de milanesa de rez (breaded beef steak) and the cemita de milanesa de pollo (breaded chicken steak) both with chipotle. I preferred the chicken cemita but the beef one was not too far behind. My wife and I will definitely be going back. I spoke to the owner of the truck and said they are there Th,F,Sa,Su. We all had an amazing time. It's so good that local celebrities like Eric Miller (Timbers' #15) was there dining while we were enjoying our food. SERVICE Zoe's amazing service is worth calling out, first highlight of our dinner. She was happy, funny, sprinkled zesty remarks that made us laugh, brought food fast, recommended great dishes, clarified all of our questions - Precisely what one expects from the warm Mexican server. It would be unfair to not mention the rest of the staff, it's just that Zoe was the unapologetically the best. FOOD Just the highlights from everything we had: - Chilaquiles Tarascos ($18.99) + Egg ($4): Our measuring stick for Mexican food authenticity, so we ignored how pricey they were for chilaquiles. These are chips in salsa topped with meat and egg. The way they make this dish sets the bar high for all other Mexican restaurants! - Machete con Carne ($18): Delicious giant taco with hand-made corn tortilla, cheese and up to 2 meats of your choice This is what I ordered based on Zoe's recommendation. I'm a 6'2" 215 lbs. man and I felt that I shouldn't have eaten the whole thing, BUT I DID! - Horchata: ($6.2): You'll taste the rice and the cinnamon, like the one Abüelitas in Mexico make. - House Made Flan ($6.99): You'll taste the egg in this flan. I can hear the chef yelling to the cooks in the kitchen when they're making this: "¡Con huevos!" - Café de Olla: ($6.20): AUTHENTIC MEXICAN Coffee! This is not a novelty you find on Instagram where lattes are poured on pastries, no. This is THE REAL DEAL. AMBIANCE We sat outside, the weather calls for it. Simple wooden picnic tables to enjoy the weather, not much needed. It was a difficult decision because inside the decor is BEAUTIFUL. - Outside: About 6 picnic tables sitting 6 people each. - Inside: About 6 or 7 tables for 2, and 3 booths for 6 and 4 tables for 4 people. - Parking: On the street and a small parking lot for about 5 vehicles. CLOSING THOUGHTS This business is doing everything right by representing Mexican culture. They're not adding American cheese just for the sake of catering to a certain demographic. They're hiring people who can speak Spanish from Mexico to provide a great service and experience. You can see the LOVE that the owner(s) are pouring into this business, if you see their taco trucks (I saw 2 parked in their parking lot) or need catering, do yourself a favor and try them. I really should have stopped there. They were very filling. I don't know what I was expecting but they are potato taquitos and topped with meat. A good amount of it too. The bummer is that it did not travel well. When I fit home I ate the crispy ends off but has the middles as leftovers. Almost like chilaquiles. The pork taco was very good. I like the microgreens on it. I was hoping the tortilla was fluffier but can't argue with handmade tortillas The fish taco was put together well but I am not a big fan of chipotle. It was glazed in chipotle and the slaw was chipotle so I was not a fan. For the size and quality the price is right. On par with any decent taco place around.

Ambience: The decor is colorful and vibrant without feeling overwhelming. It has that perfect balance of lively but still comfortable. It works for date night or mom's night out. The energy feels warm and inviting. Service: The servers were attentive, friendly, and efficient. Food came out quickly, but nothing felt rushed. You can tell they care about the experience. Food: The margaritas were simple but outstanding -- refreshing, balanced, and not overly sweet. The fried chayote completely surprised me. If you've never had chayote, it's a mild, slightly crisp squash. Here, it was fried golden and light with a tender bite inside. The dipping sauce was incredibly flavorful -- bold, savory, and layered. Every bite honestly punched my taste buds in the best way possible. Nothing bland here. We also ordered the braised beef taquitos, and wow. Crispy on the outside, filled with potatoes, and topped with flavorful delicious beef on top and clearly made fresh to order. Everything tasted vibrant and well-seasoned. Overall, ambience, service, and food were all top tier. We'll definitely be back.
