I have never gone inside to eat or order, so I can't speak to their atmosphere or cleanliness. The drive thru always seems to take a little bit longer than you'd hope, regardless if anyone is in line ahead of you. But everything is made fresh, and you can tell, which totally makes it worth it. The ladies I've met at the window are always very friendly and helpful. Their verde salsa is incredible, the rojo is good with a little kick if you prefer some spice. I recommend asking for some regardless of what you're ordering!

I've been coming here for years. Always great but drive through service was horrible she was very rude. They got our order wrong and when we asked for our drink she pretty much gave us a cup full of ice and hardly any drink.

I'll eat anything from here because it's so delicious! You can never and I mean never go wrong with a breakfast burrito from Don chilitos. I always get one with bacon! They are huge, the tortilla is soft and warm and the insides are cheesy and so tasty! You could honestly eat a breakfast burrito from here without the sauce (that yes they provide every time) Because the burrito is so perfectly moist inside. We have gone in to pick up orders before and it is a cute and comfortable little establishment if you would like to sit inside. Everybody's really nice whether you order at the counter drive-through or call in!

Best breakfast burritos, DONT SLEEP ON THESE. I typically get the sausage breakfast burrito, but the bacon one is just as tasty. They even cut it in half for you which is convenient for saving half for later if you're not that hungry. They get busy so I'd call ahead of time if you have time.

Drive thru order @ 7am on a Sunday & this place was already busy! You know that's gotta be a good sign! Breakfast burritos (sausage, chorizo & bacon), a wet burrito with bacon & a French toast plate. Huge portions! One burrito is enough for 2 people! They cut 'em in half before wrapping em so easy to share! Excellent prices, speedy service.

Sausage breakfast burrito plus green salsa

Breakfast burritos are a staple. This one was pretty standard - sausage, potato, cheese. Combine that with their green salsa, and you've got a solid breakfast. Nothing particularly innovative or outstanding, but it was tasty, so that's a win. I'd go back! Plus, they were able to accommodate a large to go order last minute, so extra points for flexibility on that.

How I heard of this place: We were visiting our friends in Beaverton, back on 15 September 2018, and we invited them to choose a place for us to take them out to dinner. Don Chilitos was the immediate response. Type of cuisine: "Counter-serve setup for dine-in plus a drive-thru dishing out unpretentious Mexican cooking." Simple, delicious Mexican food, served with a smile, Ambiance: The seemingly small house surrounded by parking lot, is home to Don Chilitos. We ran up to place our orders at the counter, paid, then awaited our turn to pick up our food at the opposite end of the counter. The restaurant is cozy and dark, windows along the walls give space for natural lighting to accompany the fluorescent lighting overhead. Tables and chairs for parties up to four are available interspersed throughout the establishment. An array of salsas, pickled vegetables and spicy sauces are available to patrons to help themselves. The kitchen is clean and the staff friendly in the bustling, loud space, wonderfully child-friendly. What I ordered: For the youngest in our group, a Grilled Cheese Sandwich and fries, but for the rest of us, large plates filled with grilled meats, rice, refried beans, vegetables, chips and salad. What I loved: The grilled meats were fabulously flavorful, perfectly grilled, with a slight crisp burn on the outside and moist interior. Why I loved it: A simple space, simple food, done well. Cost: Low to Average

Do not recommend. We just ordered take out and it is terrible. Ordered a steak burrito and the meat is really bad, full of fat and gristle, even connective tissue. I'd give zero stars if I could. Do better, ppl are paying for this food

    Carne Asada

Prices are not low. For the most part the food is okay but don't order the carne asada tacos.

Have not been in a long while. Drive through speakers need updating!!!!!!!!! Better off ordering at window due to low quality and soft volume. Otherwise great service, portions were large in my experience, and yummy!

    Street Taco

I've never had to download a review app to diss on Mexican restaurant in my life. I love Mexican food but this was disgusting. Meat was nasty, had to spit it out. Any other Mexican restaurant is better than this spot.

We all had an amazing time. It's so good that local celebrities like Eric Miller (Timbers' #15) was there dining while we were enjoying our food. SERVICE Zoe's amazing service is worth calling out, first highlight of our dinner. She was happy, funny, sprinkled zesty remarks that made us laugh, brought food fast, recommended great dishes, clarified all of our questions - Precisely what one expects from the warm Mexican server. It would be unfair to not mention the rest of the staff, it's just that Zoe was the unapologetically the best. FOOD Just the highlights from everything we had: - Chilaquiles Tarascos ($18.99) + Egg ($4): Our measuring stick for Mexican food authenticity, so we ignored how pricey they were for chilaquiles. These are chips in salsa topped with meat and egg. The way they make this dish sets the bar high for all other Mexican restaurants! - Machete con Carne ($18): Delicious giant taco with hand-made corn tortilla, cheese and up to 2 meats of your choice This is what I ordered based on Zoe's recommendation. I'm a 6'2" 215 lbs. man and I felt that I shouldn't have eaten the whole thing, BUT I DID! - Horchata: ($6.2): You'll taste the rice and the cinnamon, like the one Abüelitas in Mexico make. - House Made Flan ($6.99): You'll taste the egg in this flan. I can hear the chef yelling to the cooks in the kitchen when they're making this: "¡Con huevos!" - Café de Olla: ($6.20): AUTHENTIC MEXICAN Coffee! This is not a novelty you find on Instagram where lattes are poured on pastries, no. This is THE REAL DEAL. AMBIANCE We sat outside, the weather calls for it. Simple wooden picnic tables to enjoy the weather, not much needed. It was a difficult decision because inside the decor is BEAUTIFUL. - Outside: About 6 picnic tables sitting 6 people each. - Inside: About 6 or 7 tables for 2, and 3 booths for 6 and 4 tables for 4 people. - Parking: On the street and a small parking lot for about 5 vehicles. CLOSING THOUGHTS This business is doing everything right by representing Mexican culture. They're not adding American cheese just for the sake of catering to a certain demographic. They're hiring people who can speak Spanish from Mexico to provide a great service and experience. You can see the LOVE that the owner(s) are pouring into this business, if you see their taco trucks (I saw 2 parked in their parking lot) or need catering, do yourself a favor and try them. Our server was very slow in bringing our first (maybe 5-10 min) and second (maybe 10-15 min) round of drinks. I really should have stopped there. They were very filling. I don't know what I was expecting but they are potato taquitos and topped with meat. A good amount of it too. The bummer is that it did not travel well. When I fit home I ate the crispy ends off but has the middles as leftovers. Almost like chilaquiles. The pork taco was very good. I like the microgreens on it. I was hoping the tortilla was fluffier but can't argue with handmade tortillas The fish taco was put together well but I am not a big fan of chipotle. It was glazed in chipotle and the slaw was chipotle so I was not a fan. For the size and quality the price is right. On par with any decent taco place around.

Ambience: The decor is colorful and vibrant without feeling overwhelming. It has that perfect balance of lively but still comfortable. It works for date night or mom's night out. Food: The margaritas were simple but outstanding -- refreshing, balanced, and not overly sweet. The fried chayote completely surprised me. If you've never had chayote, it's a mild, slightly crisp squash. Here, it was fried golden and light with a tender bite inside. The dipping sauce was incredibly flavorful -- bold, savory, and layered. Every bite honestly punched my taste buds in the best way possible. Nothing bland here. We also ordered the braised beef taquitos, and wow. Crispy on the outside, filled with potatoes, and topped with flavorful delicious beef on top and clearly made fresh to order. Everything tasted vibrant and well-seasoned. Overall, ambience, service, and food were all top tier. We'll definitely be back.
