If you're ever on a TV Highway or in the mood for some bomb tacos, do yourself a favor and check out this place. We came on a sunny day and it was so lively. it's safe to say these are the best and most authentic tacos I've had in Portland. We ordered the birria, queso tacos and a chicken taco. The birria and queso tacos were the best. They had so much flavor. The queso tacos also come with sour cream and guac. We got a side of chips and guac and the chips were still hot when they brought them out. We ordered 6 tacos and a side of chips and guac for only $29.

Food was not good. No flavor whatsoever and so bland. If it wasn't for the cheese on the nachos, it would not tasted like anything. I do not recommend. High price and not worth it. First and last time I eat anything from here.

The food options here are really cool and glad we finally tried this place since we live so close. The service was really good and nice even that late at night when we came 30 minutes before closing. We tried the tacos with refried beans, some regular tacos, and also some queso tacos. We also got the nacho fries. I had the queso taco and it was really good. The tortilla was nice and crispy but also pliable. It held all the ingredients really well, so there wasn't a dripping mess and it was loaded with toppings. There was a lot of pico and also a huge Guap of guacamole on each taco. The nacho fries were really good. I wish there was a more queso cheese on it, but the toppings were plentiful just like the taco with a huge serving of guacamole. All in all really good and excited to come back and try some more of the food items .

This place was great. We ordered only one thing since we are going out to dinner later, but this was as good as we heard about. We ordered the queso birria. I wish we had a photo to post, but we ate it too quickly. It looks just like the menu photo.

We came here for the first time about one year ago and It was my first time having Birria tacos with consommé. Ever since I had fallen in love with all things Birria, and luckily it has became quite popular and accessible. The other day we drove by and saw they upgraded their taco truck situation, so we dropped by to check it out for lunch. It moved to the other side of the original gravel parking lot location, with a newly built concrete foundation and wooden covering for the eating area. It looked really cozy and is definitely an upgrade from the previous dining situation. We were there for a Friday late lunch, and ordered some queso Birria tacos, vampiro tacos, suadero tacos, and consommé. The wait was a bit long, about 30 minute-ish. It was quite cold sitting at the picnic table while the freezing wind was making us shiver, but luckily the warm afternoon sun helped to keep us warm enough. Finally our food came and everything looked fresh and tasted delicious. I like the freshness and crunchiness of the vampiro tacos, with the deep fried taco shells on the bottom and a pile of guacamole on top. Queso Birria tacos had some amount of cheese on the bottom of the crunchy shells. It was less messy than other Birria tacos and had a very clean taste. The consommé was the bomb, especially for my boyfriend. He loved it before and he loves it now. It's dark, rich, savory and a bit spicy. He and I both agree it's the one for the consommé lovers because, trust me, if you are into consommé you can taste the difference. We also ordered some suadero tacos. The staff recommended us to get different tortillas and we loved the result. It's fun to taste the difference between roasted corn vs flour tortillas. Overall, we really like this taco truck and think it is one of the best Birria places on the west side of town.

Been here multiple times and the food is amazing. Only had 1 experience where the Birria Queso tacos were soggy otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. Definitely will keep coming back.

doraditos they forgot consume, sooo dry and flavorless
    Lori A.

I really wanted to like it but they failed on all levels food..nope service... nope drinks...nope The birria was flavorless! The consume tasted like watery commercial beef base, nothing Mexican about it! and not worth the $3.75 I was charged. Dried up limes with tacos. They forgot to give the consume that came with doraditos! Hot sauce was spicy and flavorless. The horchatas were sandy and watered down. The agua de piña tasted like surgery water not pineapple. And NO prices listed anywhere, so they can charge you whatever they want! I asked for price list and she said no. So I asked for a receipt she could not print it and hand wrote prices. Everything overpriced for the lack of quality.

I really should have stopped there. They were very filling. I don't know what I was expecting but they are potato taquitos and topped with meat. A good amount of it too. The bummer is that it did not travel well. When I fit home I ate the crispy ends off but has the middles as leftovers. Almost like chilaquiles. The pork taco was very good. I like the microgreens on it. I was hoping the tortilla was fluffier but can't argue with handmade tortillas The fish taco was put together well but I am not a big fan of chipotle. It was glazed in chipotle and the slaw was chipotle so I was not a fan. For the size and quality the price is right. On par with any decent taco place around.

Ambience: The decor is colorful and vibrant without feeling overwhelming. It has that perfect balance of lively but still comfortable. It works for date night or mom's night out. Food: The margaritas were simple but outstanding -- refreshing, balanced, and not overly sweet. The fried chayote completely surprised me. If you've never had chayote, it's a mild, slightly crisp squash. Here, it was fried golden and light with a tender bite inside. The dipping sauce was incredibly flavorful -- bold, savory, and layered. Every bite honestly punched my taste buds in the best way possible. Nothing bland here. We also ordered the braised beef taquitos, and wow. Crispy on the outside, filled with potatoes, and topped with flavorful delicious beef on top and clearly made fresh to order. Everything tasted vibrant and well-seasoned. Overall, ambience, service, and food were all top tier. We'll definitely be back.
