My favorite tamale joint thus far! Chili verde chicken is the best, followed by jalapeño cheese and then pork. They charge $2.50/tamale currently which is fairly reasonable. The tamale dough itself is really good, not dry at all. They don't run any specials such as BOGO or Taco Tuesday deals or anything like that but if you want more than just tamales, their pastor tacos and queso birria tacos are pretty decent. Big time fan of well made Tamals, especially a fan of the Tamale Boys food trucks, however, first time trying Tamal Express was a big bomb! Order was messed up from the restaurant and Postmates, my delivery service didn't do a thing to help. I finished what little of the order I did receive and decided to call the restaurant and the owner said they'd make it right, including running out a new order, which they did. Great spot! Came in the early morning to order (10) breakfast burritos for some customers of mine. There was 1 person working and he crushed it! The quality was amazing service was great! My favorite part was they used more of a country style potato which my opinion makes a breakfast burrito that much better. Another thing the size of the burrito was huge!!! I had my first sip and it was good but not great. Horchata is primarily Rice milk, cinnamon, and coconut but all that settled was a pre made powder.
