I absolutely love this place! My coworkers and I eat at their food truck for lunch once or twice a week, and it never disappoints. The carne asada tacos are my favorite--they're always fresh, flavorful, and made to order. The customer service is outstanding. The ladies are always so welcoming and greet everyone with a smile, which makes the experience even better. If you're looking for delicious, fresh food and friendly service, I highly recommend giving them a try read more

Tasty tacos from food truck. My favorites are carnitas or Al pastor. Good flavors and you can add an assortment of salsas. Seating in front of the truck. Nice on a sunny day! read more

Al pastor was not that good. The tacos were sloppily made and not made how asked. This included ignoring an allergy and not fixing it when asked nicely. I give two stars because there was ample seating and the green sauce was good. I'd never go back. There are way better spots down the road. read more

Hands down the best flavored asada in the area! I think her name is Maria, she is sweet and very pleasant to talk to. The wait can be a little long sometimes. But that's only because they are so busy. Not because they aren't working hard. Because they are. The prices are fair. The salsa is so damn good too! read more

Fast service and they take phone orders too. Ordered a breakfast burrito, and 8 tacos (6 steak and 2 marinated pork). You get a little end tab paper with your order number and it will be called great. Convenient with covered outdoor seating next to the truck or take it to go. Sauce containers are given to you or requested and lids are on the salsa bar/drink area. The burritos are stuffed full and big! Love that you can order a breakfast one even in the evening. The tacos came with only one tortilla which was surprising as we were used to having two, though they seemed homemade or at least grilled and warmed up. Noticed that they were sturdier than the two tortillas we are used to! Marinated pork was the favorite! Definitely do want to try a variety of the burritos amd other meats for tacos! The location is a big factor in coming by again! read more

Growing up in Oregon it's been incredibly difficult to find good tacos- I'm never wowed. The last time I was wowed was probably in San Diego a few years ago but that's San Diego, land of good tacos. Today after 3 decades I think I've finally found my spot affordable, friendly service, well seasoned tacos and yummy salsa options too. I'll definitely be back! read more

This is a food truck sitting in a food truck park. I really like the fact that this food truck has a bench and canopy for those that want to enjoy their food at the food truck park. I ordered the two street tacos and a burrito bowl with extra meat. Everything tasted great. The street tacos cost $2 each and seemed decent. The tacos I ordered were carnitas and asada. The burrito bowl was pollo and I added extra chicken. The bowl is much better with extra meat. The different salsas were amazing. I will return. read more

Super good Taco truck! They have homemade tortillas which I have noticed has been hard to find at least for me. Their chicharon tacos are spicy! But super flavorful a must try! As well as the alambre tacos! They are soo delicious! If you're looking for good tacos go here! read more

We love taco carts and this one is great! They have a fantastic, authentic, variety of meats and options. We tried a carne asada burrito, asada tacos and chicken tacos. Everything was yummy! The meats were cooked well and there was a nice portion of meat in each item. They also have a salsa bar set up that adds a variety of heat and flavor to anything you order. The staff is polite and friendly and everything we ordered was cooked and served very quickly. We'll be back to try some more things on the menu. * There's several different carts with a variety of foods at this location. I hope to try all of them! read more

Nothing special to write about. Out of number of taco places we have in aloha area, probably least preferred. For Adam:- Got alpaster taco from here. Believe it or not it wasn't the best for sure. I eat lot of Mexican food and the spice that was used in master taco for alpastor for me was not they great. By the way taste is subjective. My review is my own personal opinion. Probably I can recommend you a few places ans you can compare how others taste :) read more

I've had a few good reviews for this spot alone and this was my go-to spot for years. But the last time I went it was an hour long wait. Yeah, no thanks. An hour long wait for a food truck is absurd. I coulda gone in that truck and made my own food quicker. read more

Had the Carnitas tacos and supreme steak burrito here. The sauces that they had were great, but the food was disappointing. Asked for no beans in the burrito and got beans. There was an absurd amount of rice in the burrito and the steak wasn't good and overall it was not flavored/balanced well. As for the tacos, the carnitas was overcooked, there was no flavor and it was hard to eat because it was so dry. Sad that I was disappointed based on the reviews I read... I will give this place one more try next time I'm here. Will not be ordering a burrito again however. read more

We are from California and Master Taco is our go to spot when in town. They have thee best tacos, burritos and hand made tortillas. The tacos de alambre are finger licking good. Not to mention their fresh food and salsas. The price is very reasonable and we honestly have never been let down. Coming from Los Angeles residents where we have plenty of food truck options we have never tasted any better Taco truck out there. read more

I would've expected better considering the reviews but the service wasn't good, they limit you to two small cups of salsa per person, and their portion sizes are horrible. I've been to this specific taco truck a good handful of times. I appreciate they have picnic tables to sit at. They offer a lot of different food options. I've only ordered their sopes, and I've had the price change on me a few times. I'd order 2 sopes - sometimes it's $8-$12 (same amount but the price differs) weird!! The sopes are good here but it's not my #1 Taco truck. read more

Ordered 2 lengua, 2 Birria tacos and an asada sope. They add a heaping amount of meat but my tacos only had 1 tortilla so the juices from the lengua and birria made my tacos really soggy. Delicious nonetheless but a little underwhelming. Salsas were flavorful and they let you serve yourself as much as you want. I appreciate that the staff are still wearing masks but it would be nice if they had a more sanitary way to get the salsa since not all customers sanitize their hands before touching the ladles. read more

I really used to enjoy the food for the most part! At least the tacos al pastor with the pineapple were good but the service ... the service flat out sucked ass! I showed up to pick my order up and asked for lime and salsa and she had the nerve to give me an attitude ... told me she'd already given us lime but the bag was shut so tight I couldn't check to make sure. Getting home I open the bag and half my order is WRONG and there's literally a piece of lime for 6 tacos and an asada plate, wtf a joke right? After she had the audacity to give me an attitude for asking for some.., first of all no one likes dry ass tacos. So not going back to this place... I'd rather go to Don Chilitos and get better service! read more

Great food Truck always crowded, i only had tried their alpastor taco and burrito they are both tasty, tad bit greasy and salty for my personal preference but it's expected of Mexican street food trucks to be salty and greasy read more

I've been to a handful of taco trucks in the Portland area (all have have been really good), but Master Taco is my #1. I've been here ~10 times and counting. Their corn tortillas and salsas are homemade and fresh; the tacos are like eating 'love' if that were possible. I'm in my 5th decade on this planet, and I can honestly say their tacos are some of the best food I've ever had in my lifetime. I've had their chicken tacos, veggie (rice & bean) tacos and their potato tacos. I don't eat a lot of meat, so you'll have to check other reviews for their impressions. FYI. Master Taco is one of about a half dozen food trucks at The Eating Place pod at Aloha Mall. read more

Best tacos I've had in the area. Homemade tortillas (you can tell the diff), yummy and well balanced salsas (other places tend to be too salty, not spicy). The word is spreading. Ssh, let's keep it a secret! It's in the Aloha Mall parking lot, right in the unofficial food truck park. If your back is to TV Highway, they are the first truck facing you with the fancy permanent canopy. They also have several large folding tables. There are several taco trucks in the area, along with a taco truck towards the parallel street near the parking lot exit. That one I hear has better al pastor. Tacos are $1.25 or $1.50. The prices, tastes and variety of meats are what I would expect of a good taco truck. Across the street is Sabor Salvador - yummy pupusas and atole! My go to's are lengua, cabeza tacos and bottled Coke. The burritos are massive and fatty. Exactly how they should be! read more

Probably the best truck in the area, and my favorite of the 3 trucks parked at this mall. Certainly the best tacos! You can't go wrong with chicken or carnitas here. What stands out to me is the care that they take with each order. (They are not the fastest, you might pick a different truck if you are in a hurry. ) These days, they generally have someone who speaks English, although this was never really a problem for those already familiar with mexican food. read more

i usually go to this taco place often and i come here because i love the beans and rice with the taco plate. I came for my usual taco plate and when i got home i only had the four tacos i asked for but not the beans and rice that comes with it. i will not be coming back anymore. I know the tacos individually are cheaper on it's own but i was charged $12 for a taco plate with no beans and rice that COMES with the tacos and is posted on the side and on the front of the ordering window. i've gone here for many years and will not be coming back. I don't know if it was because the lady could not hear me but she knew i wanted the taco plate with four tacos and i usually get that every time and i also tipped! i guess that goes to show the gratitude and appreciation at this place doesn't go very far. read more

They took my younger sisters money and refused to give it back because she ordered 4 boxes of food when In reality she had only ordered one. But the worker was deaf and lacking brain cells. On top of all of that, the food was revolting. And yes I called them and said the most beautiful things because that's what liars deserve. You must be broke to take a kids money when they asked for it back and no she didn't take the food home. These people just really needed 50 bucks. read more

I've been to Master Taco several times and have been absolutely in love with the food. They're in a convenient location and always have a crowd waiting for food. They get 4 stars because customer service always depends on who is working. They can be impatient with you and clearly focused on other things rather than taking your order correctly. It's like the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld...I'm fully expecting to get booted out of line if I don't order fast enough :/ NOTE: if you speak Spanish fluently, everything flows a lot smoother. They default to Spanish with me despite the fact that I'm so obviously Filipino...it doesn't rally work out. read more

These tacos are disgusting not even worth .50¢ absolutely terrible. I bit into it and all I tasted was grease and bland meat. Not to mention the service was terrible. The lady's always rude but this time I got especially annoyed. Bc she was all nice and smiley to the Mexican teenage kids before us but once she saw a Mexican girl with a black boy she had an attitude all of a sudden. These tacos used to be good and worth it. I didn't even care that the lady was always mean. They also raised the price and they charge extra when you use your card. But for what? They're not worth it. They even started making them way smaller and flavorless. I do not recommend save your money and go somewhere else. read more
